What Do You Say?

The sun prickled through the rosy curtains and the room was bright and cozy. The weather seemed to be increasingly cold these past few days. It was raining yesterday and even today, when the sun was fully displayed, it was still chilly and wintry.

After a while of tossing and turning around, Li Aizhe woke up with a loud grunt and a yawn afterwards. She turned to her left side and checked the white and clean alarm hand resting on the side. It was currently 8 in the morning. She remembered that she had to go out for work hunting today at around 10-11.

She got off the bed and decided to wash up. She took a clean towel and went to take a warm bath. After a while, Li Aizhe came out of the toilet, with a towel tightly wrapped around her curvy figure.

She went to the cupboard to look for her yesterdays dress. When she opened the wardrobe, her mouth was left a gap. Her eyes widened and she pinced her self to see if it was a dream.

She made an 'uh' sound after pinching herself hard. She realized that it was not a dream. She had several clothes from various styles, colours, and fine materials hanged in her wardrobe. She took out a ruffle shirt, that was beautifully trimmed at the neck edge. Just by touching the material, you could tell it was very expensive.

Li Aizhe looked down at the cloth in her hands and she was left in a confused state. Did her uncle put these while she was asleep? Why did he get her so many?

The wardrobe was full of shirts, skirt's, dresses, gowns and even brandied shoes. Do rich people wear these kinds of clothes every day? Judging by the material of the shirt, it might cost a few thousands. How do they manage all these at once?

She was on a complete daze, before she heard a knock resounding from the door.

She broke out of her thoughts and immediately changed to the white ruffle shirt and accompanied it with a long tight green skirt. She went towards the door and opened it. She noticed no one over there. She looked left and right and still saw no one standing anywhere. She wondered for a while on who it could be.

Did they left? Maybe the person had left after knocking for a while.

Just as she was about to close the door, she felt a tug at her skirt. She looked down and saw a little body, with a short but composed height and stature. She had a hint of grace at this age and feminity was advancing from her.

She looked really young and bright. Her skin was white jade and her features highly reminded her of someone. She had a white turtle neck, paired with a small pink skirt. She looked really cute and it tickled Li Aizhe's heart. Seeing the hands that were tugging at her skirt, she burst into a bright giggles and she firmly held on to the little girls, small and round hands.

"Hello, little squish!" She greeted. Aizhe's eyes were disappearing due to the bright and shiny smile on her face. Her pearl like teeth came into a display and Li Aizhe looked really happy and satisfied.

The little girl looked at the long and beautiful lady standing ahead of her. She looked really kind and generous, unlike her mother. She went towards her and gave her a woven baskets full of sweets and candies.

"I have no friends..and mother won't let me go out with the others..Pretty auntie, will you play with ZiZi?"

Although her face was devoid of any emotions and childishness, in her eyes could been seen the naive and purity of a small kid. Her eyes were big and round, it looked like the galaxy was settled in her eyes. It was pure and had lot to say.

Li Aizhe was dumbfounded and looked at the round basket full of candies and sweets. She looked up and saw the little kids whose head was tugged down.

Li Aizhe had a huge love and care for children. When it came to them, she would do anything. Alot of time, she would prefer to go and play games with them after work rather than spending time with Ni Rong. To her, they were just so pure and they were completely unaware of anything. To simply put it off they were her weakness and seeing this little kid, it tugged and twisted some strings in her heart. Looking at her, she knew that she was fearful about something. She went forward and after contemplating for a while, she carried the little, squishy bun and set her on the square rosy sofa infront of her bed.

She looked at the basket and then at the kid who was looking at Aizhe wonderingly. She took one of the candies from the basket and decided to play around.

"My mother once said that I should never take anything from a stranger. This candy looks yummy and delicious..but I am afraid, I will not be able to take it from you..what shoud we do?" She placed her fingers on her chin and pretended to be in a deep thoughts. The little girl looked up and after a while decided to speak up.

"I am..Li Zia" As she spoke up, her little face lit up for a second, before she realized her change of attitude and looked down hiding her bright smile yet again. Li Aizhe noticed her small actions and immediately made an 'ah' sound, making it seem as she got the best idea.

"Li Zia, How about we no longer are strangers? What if I become your friend..then I can eat these yummy and delicious candies..and you will also get a playmate.." She looked at the little girl and asked once more. "What do you say?"
