Her hands were still holding into his suit and he took it away gently and raised it to kiss it. He smiled at her and wiped the tears which were getting dry on her cheeks. "Aizhe, does it matter that life is filled with difficulties? Does it matter that we are all on the same boat yet can't help each other and does it matter if we are different? "Aizhe, you are my only friend and it is not because of your beauty, but because of your heart. Unpredictable.

Aizhe ran around the corners and the more she saw the hallways, the more she felt lost. She turned left and saw the huge chandelier connected to the ceiling.

Looking down from there she saw the living room. Smiling at her successful attempt, she dashed towards there.

'Almost there Zhe!' she smiled brightly. She had been roaming around the house for the past thirty minutes. She loved the Ah Manor but the only thing she didn't get was why they made it so maze-like.

She felt like the maids had to take a plane just to do one work from there to here. How does Si survive here?

Walking down the long staircase, she paused on her steps. The windows were closed and the living room was surprisingly dark. A little gleam of the sun was peeking in from the two huge windows making the already terrifying manor more scary. Besides the gleam of sunrise, the morning sun wasn't bright yet.

She stood there and wondered if she had made a mistake by walking down alone. She wanted to quickly escape from Si's grasp but somehow the atmosphere here was more chillier.

The whole house frightened her at this moment.

"It is fine, Zhe. Just go straight and trust yourself. You are not scared at all." She closed her ears and peeked at the long staircase and the huge windows.

She could see the kitchen's light were on and several shadows were casting there. Her heart thumped and she took a step back.

Unexpectedly, like a frightened cat, she jumped by a frightening sound behind her.

"Booo," Aizhe was about to fall down the staircase but a hand pulled her from her waist. Feeling extremely scared by the darkness, she held on to her helper tightly.

Ah Si who wanted to first scare her with his voice immediately regretted when he saw the lines of worry forming on her forehead. He saw her jump in shock and held her tightly in his embrace. He patted her head as he comforted her with "it is okay, it is me, it is me..."

Feeling her tight grasp on him, Ah Si looked down at her and pulled her more closer. He only let go of her when he felt her small hands trying to punch him hard on his chest. "You! Why are you doing this to me?"

Smiling down at her adorable pout, he pulled her in for a hug once more. Struggling to break free from his hug, Aizhe had no choice but to stay in that position. His hands automatically found her hands and he held them tighter. Their ten fingers interlocked and she stopped jabbing him with her elbows.

"You still believe you don't need anyone. You are compatible on your own?,"

"Yes, this was your trick. Wait till I get back on you Si!" He smiled down at her defensive eyes. They look like they will fire venom at him. He sure liked this side of her as well. Actually all sides of her were to die for. He just couldn't get over her.

Every day he learned a new quirk about her.

Breaking their hug, he walked down the long staircase slowly with her. Aizhe didn't look at him but was instead wondering what to do to get back at him.

Her low bun slowly pulled open and her long hair rested on her shoulders. Touching it, she remembered that she didn't have any clothes with her. Ah Si looked at her state and calmly said:

"Stay here for one more day, I will talk with Mr. Li about your condition." When Aizhe heard that, she immediately looked up at him. What? I mean, no it is okay Si. I will talk to Uncle on my own. You have a banquet to attend today, right?" Her eyes deemed in shade and she suddenly started to get worried. Her uncle wasn't in the state to be seen yet.

She trusted Ah Si but she didn't wish for him to worry about her and keep her here. She knew that if she told him about her uncle, he would make her stay with him. She still had to take care of her uncle and could only leave when he was recovered.

Ah Si saw her look and his deep eyes darkened. He took a mental note of her rigid expressions and immediately his jaws tightened as a habit. A calm look seeped from his face as he said: Don't be on the phone too long then. Rest when needed."

The two of them looked at each other as they held their tongue back. None of them dared to tell each other their thoughts. Aizhe smiled dryly as she looked in front.

"Don't fake smile, Zhe. You don't have to pretend in front of me." He didn't even face her as he said that. Aizhe's smiling face froze and she looked at him with a taken back gaze. He walked ahead, leaving her dumbfounded.

How did he know that? Aizhe had the tendency to fake smile when she was distressed or when she didn't like something. Was he always like this?

Feeling her heart thumping by his manners, Aizhe started to catch up with him. She felt butterflies in her stomach. 'Oh Zhe, when did you become a lovestruck fool? Be a girl! Don't let him fool you yet!

Fixing her posture, she walked with him like nothing happened.

The living room was huge and it was only half-past six. She hadn't seen anyone else in this manor and she wondered how Ah Si managed to live alone in this place.

"Si, don't you get lonely living in this huge place?,"

He looked down at her and saw her curios dewy gaze. In the darkness, her shiny brown gaze shined. He reached out to touch her cheeks and smiled warmly at her.

Her eyes wandered off a bit in an embarrassed manner but she nonetheless enjoyed this touch. Smiling at him with her deep dimples showing on both sides, she waited for his reply. "Why? Do you want to live with me?,"

'Wait, what? What did he mean by that? This guy--'

Not finding her answer, she rolled her eyes in annoyance. Why does he always rotate her questions? Can't he answer her simple and straight?

"No, I am just wondering. Curiosity, you know.."

"I am okay." Those were the words he said before he looked away. His life had always been a mystery to others. Even his sister didn't know about his private life. Ai always wondered why the two siblings couldn't be like before. He never told her that the reason for that wasn't his choice but the Elders. All he ever did was to provide for his family and make the Elder proud. Now that he had a purpose to actually enjoy life, he wished no harm on her.

Looking down at his wristwatch, he noticed the time was ticking by over fast.

Letting go of her hands, he clapped his hands.

A row of maids and an old man who was working in what seems to be the kitchen came in a hasty manner. "Young Master, anything we could help you with?," The butler came forward while bowing down. He didn't dare to look at Ah Si in the face and only bowed down, with his eyes glued to the floor.

The maids followed a suit and they all bowed. Ah Si nodded and they all stood up. "Today, I want you all to meet her. She is part of my family. Anything she asks for should be fulfilled, understood?"

Ah Si looked down at Aizhe and noticed her confused face. He grabbed her hands tightly and said: "Butler Lu, take care of her until I am back. Also, where is Ailin and Lu Jung?," The butler came forward as soon as he heard his name.

"Young Master, the Young Miss went out for a walk, with the little Miss. As per your request, Master Lu had left for office. Young Miss had also packed her belongings and is supposed to leave today for Taihe Chinese yard alongside Master Lu. She seemingly also wanted to go for shopping with Madam Ah."

He reported everything in detail. He raised his head and walked backward. Ah Si nodded and with one raise of his hands, all of them start to dismiss. However, before they left, they didn't forget to bow to their new Miss.

Aizhe awkwardly smiled at them as she cursed Ah Si in her head. She hated to make others work under her and what worse, she wasn't even living with him. She never dated anyone. She knew their current relationship was that of a boyfriend and girlfriend. However, why did this feel like they were already married?

Pouting at him, she let go of his hands and walked down the staircase with thought circling her head.

When she reached the last step, the room's darkness automatically faded and was replaced with brightness. Feeling surprised by the sudden intrusion of light, Aizhe looked around with a bewildered gaze. How much more surprised would she be by his astonishing inventions?

Ah Si looked at her and calmly stood there as he saw her innocent and curios gaze to everything. His hands were in his pants pockets as he saw the look of child in her eyes.

He never knew that his idea to make famous designers Paolo Moschino and Philip Vergeylen design his house was going to be so good. He suddenly felt like redecorating his whole house in her taste.

He saw her limping towards the living room and he glanced at the surrounding with worry on his face.

He was going to tell her not to walk that much before a sweet voice cut him off.

Turning around they both noticed Ai with her baby in her arms as she swayed her. She was wearing a long-sleeved yoga crop top and a pink sports pants.

Little Miracle had a cute yellow dress and a yellow flower bow on her cute little head. She had only turned a few weeks old but recovered so well. She didn't need to even stay in the incubator.

Smiling with a bright smile, she called out to her brother. "Bebo, Xiǎo qíjī didn't cry today and she is also recovering so well."

She walked hastily towards her brother as she raised the baby towards him. Ah Si who didn't know what to do looked at the child and his sister awkwardly.

"Bebo, hold it nicely. Here, from the arms and then the legs." She demonstrated it for him. The baby showed a gap of her gum and smiled with drool all over her face. Her huge fist went inside her mouth.

Nothing ever came harder to him. As he saw his sisters demonstrate for him, he picked it up all in one.

Suddenly finding it easier, Ah Si held his niece for the first time. As he held her, he saw her beautiful chubby cheeks.

The more he looked at her face, the more he could see the combination of his sister and his brother in laws attributes. She looked delicate and cute with her doe small eyes and rosy cheeks.

Every fraction of her face screamed Ai. There was only the nose and forehead which didn't belong to his sister. He never recognized babies but now that he looked at one, he understood why people really appreciated and adored them.

Giving the baby back to Ai, he smiled down at them.

He held the tots small pinky as he looked up at his sister. "Leaving so early, stay a couple more days."

Ai heard that and she smiled at him with a bright gaze. She knew her brother lived alone and he also, like any other human being felt lonely. She always came over with Lu Jung but this month, she became really busy with work and a child too.

She was planning to go back to her house and take care of her child.

"Brother, I would love to but my mother in law is also coming to the city today---" As she was speaking, her eyes suddenly landed on the figure next to her brother.

"Aizhe, what are you doing here? Bebo, why is she standing?" Moving to stand next to her, Ai immediately made Aizhe sit on the staircase.

Aizhe who was paying attention to the conversation suddenly heard Ai sister reprimanding her. She looked up with a confused gaze at Ai and only realized that she was talking about her injury after seeing her worried state.

"Sister, I am okay now," she told her in a warm tone.

"Okay? What okay? Butler Lu, get here fast," The moment his name was said, Butler Lu came dashing to the room. "Miss, anything I could help you with?"

"Get her the wheelchair. Also call the Imperial Doctor over. We need a check-up," Aizhe heard that and she immediately stood up, hissing by her own pain.

She shrugged it off and held Ai Sisters hands instead. "Ai Sister, please don't, we don't need the doctor. I am totally fine now."

Ai held her hands and shook her head in denial. Only she knew how she survived last night. Her heart dropped when her brother told her the cause of her state. She wished to punish the prevents with her own hands. She had long suspected her brother and husband but like usual none of them would tell her anything. She was more than glad that Aizhe survived. She wished to never see her in that state.

The wheelchairs came and without any further due, she placed her there. Giving her baby to the nearby maid, she pushed Aizhe towards the living room

"Put her in the crib and the milk is in the cabin." The maid nodded and left to the nursery room.

Ah Si looked at both of them and shook his head. His sister was the most dramatic person ever. Whenever someone from their family got sick, she would raise the roof in her head.¹

However, now that he saw how well cared Aizhe was, he felt glad. Tucking his suit well, he looked down at the time. Time was passing by quickly and he also had to leave for the underground mission.

"Sister, I am totally okay. Please calm down."

Aizhe looked at Ah Si for some help but he just smiled down at her. Moving his steps forward, he picked his grey suit jacket and walked towards the main gate.

She raised her hands as if to call for him but Ai held back her hands. "Aizhe, do you need something?"

Nowhere to escape to, Aizhe looked down and sighed. She looked up at Ai and saw her panicked state. Smiling to reassure her, Aizhe held their clasped hands tightly. "Nothing much sister, I am just a bit hungry."

When Ai heard that, she immediately held the handle of the wheelchair and moved her to the kitchen. Aizhe looked at the worried girl and a chuckle escaped her mouths.

'Ai sister is sometimes unpredictable' she wondered.
