At sundown, Jacob and I decided to pay Lenin a visit. This was actually the first time any of us had ever been to his house. He never did talk about it nor mention it during our previous conversations. All he told me and the gang back then was his home address.

The house was a modest four bedroom, orange with blue trim, spray on - 4th of July decorations were on the walls. Proud Americans.

Jacob rang the door bell and when Lenin opened the front door, I knew he was not delighted to see us. Standing behind him was a young blonde. She looked like she was in her early 20's, wearing white shorts and a blue checkered T-shirt, good looking enough to turn heads. Her sun-browned hair was pulled in a ponytail.

'Friends of yours?' She asked Lenin.

'No.' He replied abruptly and attempted to shut the door but Jacob wedged it with his shoe. I pulled up my shirt sleeve to reveal a lavishly detailed black dragon tattoo that extended up my upper arm.

The lady and I lock eyes and she nods her assent. 'He's family. Let him in.' And it didn't sound like a request.

Lenin cursed under his breath as he shut the door behind us.

'Can I offer you guys anything to drink?' She yelled amidst the noise. Everyone was talking loudly while white noise fill the air. Was no one reporting these people? There were like 20 of them in here.

'We'll have beer.' I answer for both me and Jacob.

'Okay. I'll bring it to your room.'' She turns to walk into the kitchen.

'Come on.' Lenin walked past the living room into a corridor and we followed him.

Lenin's room was nothing I expected. The room was painted pink.

'I think we're in the wrong room, man.' Jacob couldn't help but speak up.

'Just sit your ass down, dork.' Lenin shut the door. The noise becomes muffled and bearable.

'Dude, don't tell me this is your room.' I ask in disbelief. From the painted walls to the bed to the furniture, everything was pink. It's like barbie and some unicorns threw a party in here and forgot to clean up.

There was a choking noise behind me. Jacob was coughing to hide his laughter.

'What do you think of my room?' Lenin asked out of the blue.

'It's gay.' Jacob took a seat on his beanbag.

'It's cold and unwelcoming.' I stuff my hands in my pockets, refusing to sit down.

There was a knock. It's probably the blondie. I answer it, returning with three bottles of root beer. I pass them accordingly.

'You ain't sitting down? Lenin asked.

'Nah. I'm good.' I nod on my end.

'The missus will soon come home. What do you want? Make it quick. I'm supposed to be locked up in here.' Lenin takes a long sip of beer before removing it from his lips.

'Okay.' I keep down my half-emptied bottle on the pink rug and begin. 'Why the hell did you target her?'

'Who?' Lenin asked dumbly.

'Don't give me that crap. You know who I'm talking about. Don't pretend!' I yell at him.

'And If I play coy, will you kill me? It was just a game. Why do I always get the blame for everything? Derek's the one with the million dollars and not me.' Lenin hissed and finished his beer.

Jacob was still taking slow sips, watching the argument that ensued.

I lift an eyebrow. 'Don't tell me you just wanted to get back at me for beating your ass up.'

Lenin hissed and muttered something in Gaelic under his breath. I didn't catch the meaning. 'You're an asshole.'

'I've heard that alot.' I roll my eyes.

'Why did you return to school? You were expelled.' Jacob made a point there. I, Lenin and Dominic were expelled last year. But I was pardoned and so was Dominic. None of us heard from Lenin. How did he suddenly appear?

'It's none of your business.' Lenin brushed his fingers over his hair.

'Talk!' I yell.

'Fine…'

I felt a stir of two emotions as Lenin concluded his story - Anger and Pity. I never knew he hauled alot of baggage on his shoulders. While the world believes his life is all about privilege, a deep sense of loneliness plagues his heart. The dude is like a puzzle. Likable on the surface but dark and brooding on the inside. Just like me.

'Well, its time for you guys to leave.' Lenin took to his feet. A goofy smile made way to his face.

'What is it this time?' I sigh.

'Nothing.' He waved it off. 'Give the lady a kiss for me. And remind her when she's done with you, I'm ready to make her mine.'

'Lin's not gonna fuck you.' I laugh.

Lenin's face turned into a scowl. 'I wasn't talking about Lin.'

'Charlotte's not my lady. At least not yet.' My heart made tiny jumps as her name rolled off my tongue.

'Well, dating a girl like Linda sure is growing pains.' Lenin dragged his hand through his hair.

His statement left me confused. 'What do you mean by that?' I asked.

'Oh. Lin never told you what happened at H.A.S?' Lenin drew a little breath and sat back. 'Sit your ass down, Lee. You'd want to hear this.'

Lenin told me about the deal he made with Lin. How Lin told him to hurt Charlotte. How she didn't stop him from sending Dominic's goon to fight me. She betrayed me! That bitch!

'How could she do that to Charlotte?' Jacob clenched his fists.

'Apparently, there were pictures of you kissing Charlotte.' Lenin looks at me.

'What? You kissed Charlotte?' Jacob rushed off the beanbag as though it were on fire. 'Answer me, Levi!'

'Yeah, I did.' I retort.

'Fuck you, man!' Jacob threw the door open and slammed the door.

'Well, that was a bummer.' Lenin blew a raspberry. 'So what you gonna do knowing your girl is bad?'

'Did you hurt Lin?' I asked.

'Yeah. Whaddya expect? She broke the rules.' Lenin said.

'I'm gone, man.' I walk out of the pink room.

(Jacob's POV)

I sink back in the seat of the leather seat of our SUV. Drumming my finger tips against the dashboard. How could Levi kiss Charlotte against her will? He keeps violating her! I'll have to put him in his place.

I watch him approach the car and I hide my frown behind my poker face.

'What was that about?' He asked me.

'Nothing. It's fine.' I say, trying to mean it.

'Let's go then.' He grabbed the steering wheel and started the engine.

I cast him a glare before looking out the window. Levi won't know what'll hit him.
