[Dropped :(] [How I've improved: burned out much slower, took things at a much slower pace and relaxed when it came to writing so I must say big improvement and was able to write to chapter 50 compared to 43 like my last one ] Just trying to have fun and kill the creeping insanity also this is as pure as A.i as i could get as i have a bad habbit of giving hella detailed prompts The story is a basic world hopper. World 1: prey world 2: Kabaneri of the iron fortress also don't read if I don't got atleast 15 chaps as i can easily get bored with stories and abandon them quickly

Chapter 13: The Guts

After dispatching the phantom, Morgan and Owen took a few moments to catch their breaths. Meanwhile, January initiated a reboot, taking the opportunity for self-maintenance. Owen engaged in a conversation with Morgan, discussing the potential threats they needed to remain vigilant against and formulating strategies to tackle future enemies.

During this brief respite, Owen stumbled upon a pleasant surprise—a shotgun. It was conveniently located in the armory adjacent to the glass chamber where Arron Angram had met his demise. Astonishingly, Owen managed to recall the code necessary to access the armory. It was quite remarkable, considering the multitude of codes scattered throughout the game.

"We should keep moving," Morgan said, prompting a nod of agreement from Owen. He understood that by following Morgan would eventually open the door to escaping talos 1.

With that in mind, Owen followed January, who took the lead towards a heavily fortified door. Positioned on either side of the door were two Eradicator turrets, occasionally emitting phrases like "No Typhon material detected." This statement proved accurate, given the numerous Typhon corpses strewn about in the vicinity.

As they entered the area labeled "GUTS," the door opened without much commotion, revealing a new space to explore. Owen and the rest of the group wasted no time in spreading out and investigating their surroundings. Owen made his way toward the nearby operator dispenser, while Morgan approached the fabricator, busy creating ammunition. Owen, on the other hand, sought the assistance of an engineering operator, who promptly repaired his damaged suit.

As Owen crafted the medkits and a few other items at the fabricator, he couldn't help but marvel at the variety of options available. Some of the items listed were unfamiliar to him, but he disregarded them for now, focusing on the essential task of creating medkits. He carefully placed the required resources in the correct slots, initiating the crafting process.

After a minute, the fabrication was complete, yielding a total of 12 medkits. Owen pondered whether this would be sufficient, voicing his thoughts aloud. "12 medkits should last us a while, right?" he questioned, hoping that they would prove adequate for their upcoming challenges.

Moving to join Morgan, Owen positioned himself in front of the gravity tunnel—an entryway that would transition them into zero gravity once they entered. Despite his uneasiness about the experience, time was of the essence, leaving him no choice but to step into the tunnel. As soon as he did, the sensation of weightlessness overwhelmed him, causing a wave of nausea. Flung out into the guts, it took Owen a moment to regain control, utilizing the propulsion system he had fabricated under Morgan's guidance.

"Follow closely behind me," Morgan advised through the suit comms, emphasizing the unpredictable nature of their surroundings in the guts. With that, Morgan gracefully maneuvered through the expansive tunnel, darting around every stray item and obstacle with the agility of a bird in flight. However, Owen's experience was quite the opposite, as he seemed to collide with nearly everything that floated in his path.

"Watch out! There's debris coming your way," Morgan warned, noticing Owen's struggles. Owen tried his best to avoid the obstacles, but his lack of finesse and control in zero gravity hindered his progress. Despite the occasional bumps and collisions, Owen continued onward, determined to keep up with Morgan and stay alert for any potential threats lurking in the guts.

It got easier as the large tunnel that was the guts took a 90° turn up with the whole way up having no obstacles blocking the path ahead allowing Owen to reach the door at the end of it without much effort, sadly that's when the problems began as Owen soon ran into a new enemy in the form of cyst, which are little soccer ball sized creatures who explode on contact with the nearest creature.

"Hold your fire" Owen quickly shouted out noticing Morgan readying his pistole to shoot at the nearby cyst which floatef up ahead.

"Why stop me?" Morgan asked confused as Owen took this chance to grab the gloo cannon he had strapped to his back due to the fact he was trying to hide his inventory.

"What's that supposed to do?" Morgan asked as he watched Owen shoot single globs of gloo at the nearby cyst which pulsed with a sickly yellow glow.

*Boom* *bang* *Boom* *bang* *Boom* *bang*

After the globs of gloo mad contact with the cyst they immesidtlye exploded allowing them to continue forward with them having to clear several cyst nest before finally coming to another set of doors which was broken making it impossible to continue but Owen knowing exactly what to do went right of the doors annd to a vent which was viably busted and quickly made his way through followed by Morgan.

Once again Owen and Morgan found themsleves clearing out groups of cyst as they made their way forward as thry once gain traveled through a vent this time it was filled with cycts nest which they cleared out with multiple recycler charges allowing them to continue forward.

Sadly they soon met a hard wall in the form of a set doors that could not be bypassed or hacked through but they did not waste much time standing their as January directed them to a nearby sighn labeled the magnetosphere.

"I suggest for Owen to sit this once out as he does not possed the finesse required for what comes next" january suggested causing Owen to nod as he watched Owen waste notl time going to fix the problem that was stopping them from progressing.

Sadly the repairs to the machine that makes the magnetosphere of Talos 1 was not as intense as in the game as Morgan had more than enough time to get in and out of the machine which seemed much more stable thsn in the game.

"Well let's get going" Morgan said as Owen was dragged along and out of the magnetosphere as they headed through a door that led to the cargo tunnel.
