CHAPTER 2

4.00pm

At the Café

She came early. She was having some nostalgic feelings. Three years ago when she came to Korea for a field trip regarding of her architectural course then they first met. She along with her teachers and group went to Jeju to observe the renowned Glass House. He went there with his friends for excursion.

An old woman got her claustrophobic attack. As there were no prompt medical treatment Taehyung came and offered help, under his supervision she came to her normal state. Arora was with the patient the whole time and for this she managed to miss her bus -_- .Taehyung was amazed by her kindness for a complete stranger, he decided to befriend her. And there was a chance as she had already missed her bus and that dumb didn't even knew her hotel's location but only the hotel's name. He offered her a ride. Since she was completely new, wasn't a fluent Korean speaker and he seemed decent she decided to take the proposal. Thank god she did .

And Dreams' was the very place where he proposed her at the day of her departure.

Her train of thoughts broke when the awaited and desired face appeared at the doorstep. She was on seven clouds. She ran to him and hugged . Her childish nature appears every time she is with him.

"I missed you so much ^-^ tae, let's sit there."

"Irony, she has to choose this place among all," he thought to himself.

She was giggling, clearly can't hide her joy. " I have ordered your favourite strawberry cake. You want something else?" She is not making it any easier for him. He took a deep breathe.

" I have something to tell you."

" I am all ear to you," she hummed .

" Ruu it's not working. I am tired of this."

"What's not working,tae? Aren't you feeling well?"

"Look this long distance relationship is not working for me. You are never here when I need you and we hardly get time for each other. I think that's the end ....we should.....breakup" he let out the breathe he was holding for so long.

"I know I can't company you like I should. But I am trying, we will get over this. We were happy,right?"

"No Arora I am not happy."

There was a pause. "Don't you love me? Where have I gone wrong? How can you break a three years of relationship in a slipt of seconds? "

"I loved you Ruu. But we are not.... just meant to be together. I am sorry."

"LOVED huh," That's just so much to process. But she can't hold onto someone who doesn't wanna stay despite she badly want him to. Holding back her tears she lets out a sigh..

" I have always wanted to see you happy either it's with or without me. Is that what you want from me" she smiled with "I will give this to you." With almost breaking voice she said, " Goodbye Tae…oh Taehyung." She was trying her best not to burst into tears, what's the point when it didn't value anything to him , " Please LEAVE," she muttered putting her head down.

His heart ached at the sight.

But he left, leaving her alone.

Why does it hurt so much?

There was a teenage girl sitting against that former couple's table . She sighed thinking about that broken girl. She was about to sip her coffee when her eyes found a figure leaning against the restaurant's wall crying, broken. It took her a moment to recognize the man who just broke that girl's heart a minute ago.

She was amazed at the sight. Confused. Is he guilty? Guess no one will ever know. She bend down and wrote some words in her diary -

"Maybe sometimes it's better to let someone go"
