Chapter 6

A lot of things happened yesterday and today is a new day to create new memories. I woke up having Krios's arms wrap into my wait and my face immediately turn into red as a tomato. I still can't believe what happened yesterday, Krios started accepting me and for me, that's a big step. The memory of last night is still vivid in my mind. I look at Krios and he still wearing his mask even at his sleep, well I intentionally woke up early today because I might be able to see his face but I guess today is not the day. I slowly removing his arms so that I won't woke him up. But I shriek loudly when his wrap suddenly become much tighter and then, I heard the sexiest voice in the whole universe.

"Where do you think you are going?"

I look back and saw that his eyes are already opened. Krios has this light blue eyes that looks like a jewel under the sun and moon light. As I look at him, I notice some features that are somewhat different from the novel. In the novel, Krios was poorly described by the author by stating that Krios is tall but his body is not that muscular, he has white skin and blonde hair but the Krios in front of me is completely the opposite! The Krios in front of me has a big and good body build, has a skin as white as porcelain, a perfectly defined jaw that even the most famous sculpture would feel envy by this creation of God. Krios has a blonde hair, like as if it's a golden thread that has been spun by the God itself in the spinning wheel. Also way back when I'm still on Earth, the company who is responsible for publishing the novel created like a CD drama and the voice of Krios on that CD drama is nothing compared to the voice of this Krios that's in front of me. His voice is sexier that any CD drama I have listen to! Also, based on the novel and digital artwork I saw, Krios is wearing a full face mask but the Krios in front of me is wearing only a half-face mask, making his lips visible to the eye. I was so deep in thought that I didn't realize that I was staring at him for too long.

"Are you done enjoying the view?"

My face lights up immediately and hide under the blanket. Gosh, that was so embarrassing! Now I don't know how to face him! I keep cursing myself when Krios tried to peek inside the blanket but it was fruitless because I won't let go of this blanket! After a few attempts, he let go the blanket, a sign of defeat but I was wrong because he suddenly picks me up and make me sit on his lap! I look like a child in her blanket in his lap. I was squirming in his lap, trying to find any exits but all of them was futile.

"Stop moving and let me see your face."

I listened to his voice and look at his face. I can't stop blushing and what we're doing makes us look like a newlywed couple, well, we are but that's not the point here! Krios started to caress my face, tracing every corner of my face with his fingers. The action makes me relax in his arms and if only this moment can last forever, I don't mind spending my whole life like this. I look up to see his face and I saw that he was looking at me too. I smile at him and touch his right cheek and also started to caress it. His face keeps getting closer and closer, it was only a few inches until our lips meet when the door suddenly open. Because of reflexes, I immediately push Krios aside and I saw Xino smiling while running towards me.

"Good morning My Lady!"

"G-good morning too Young Master Xino."

I look back to see Krio's state and I saw him standing at the end of the bed. Maybe I pushed him too hard again this time? I was expecting to see his frowning face but he was smiling as he looks at me and Xino. He started to walk towards us and join to hug me and Xino. I was shock by his sudden action and in someone's point of view, we look like a family. I smile by the thought we are starting to look like a family.

"My Lady, I am going to practice some sword skill later, can you watch me as I train? If that is okay with you."

Xino immediately hid his face from me and I laugh softly because he looks so cute when he is being shy. I immediately ruffled his hair and response to his question.

"Of course, should I also bring some sweets?"

He eyes light up and he immediately said yes! But not only him whose eyes light up because Krios fake cough to get my attention and I can see in his eyes that he's excited to eat some sweets too.

"Ahem, how about mine? I'm also going to the training ground to do some training."

I laugh at his childish attitude and also ruffled his hair. I sweetly replied "Yes, I'll also make some for you." Xino excuse himself because Krios and I still need to prepare. The maid immediately entered the room and help me to get ready. Krios finish first and after a few minutes, I'm also done. I walk towards the dining table and there I saw Xino and Krios talking about something so serious but the atmosphere suddenly become lighter when they saw me. Xino immediately smile at me and run towards me. He helps me guide to my sit and I smile at him because he's such a small gentleman. Our breakfast went smoothly, we talk about Xino's progress on his swordsmanship and he is so excited to showcase his skill later.

"Young Lady, later you'll see how much I progress this past few months."

"It's an honor to see the Young Master's progress by my two eyes."

Xino and I was so cheerfully talking when Krios forged a fake cough to get our attention. I look at him and he looked like a child that is throwing a tantrum and it's cute. Krios face looks like a child that has his lollipop stole by someone.

"Of course I would also watch Master Krios's performance later."

He made a fake cough and act like he's so proud to get a recognition from me. We ended our breakfast and both Krios and Xino go to the training ground for their training. While me, I immediately walk towards the kitchen to bake some sweets for them later. I was about to enter the kitchen when I heard some servants talking about me.

"Hey, have you heard that today, Master Krios, Master Xino and Lady Liliana look like a proper family. They were even laughing while eating their meal!"

"True! It's like as if they just suddenly become a good family out of nowhere!"

"Besides, the Lady never gave any attention to the Young Master but now, she's been doting on him ever since he has arrived here."

"Not just that, did you notice something new about Master Krios? He's been so sweet towards the Lady! Just like as if she never hurt him in the past."

Hhhmm, well, they do have a point. Wouldn't it be so suspicions and weird if someone who's so wicked to the core and has a horn in the head suddenly becomes so nice and has a halo on top of her head, right? It's not like as if people change so suddenly, people can change but it would take a lot of time. I was about to enter the kitchen and act like as if nothing happened when someone cut off their conversation.

"Hey! Stop spouting nonsense towards our Lady! Didn't you see what happened to the late head maid? Also, isn't it a good thing that our Lady becomes nice now? Just remember those hardships we face before, do you two want to go back to the way our Lady behaves?"

The two servant that are backstabbing me fell into silent. I immediately notice the girl who just spoke. She's Noelle and I think she's the new head maid. Hmm, she's good, I'll let this slide easily. After a few a minutes of standing outside, I enter the kitchen and everyone immediately greet me. I wave my hand at them and I immediately wear my apron. I already wasted a lot of time so there's no time to waste, I have a lot of sweets need to make today.

"This will do that trick."

After a few hours of making sweets, I feel satisfied by my creations. I immediately put them on some cute containers and after making sure I divided equally the sweets I made, I carefully put them into the basket. I took off the apron I used and immediately walk towards the training ground. When I arrive there, I saw Xino and Krios doing some sparring. I laugh silently by what I saw, well, Krios is way taller than Xino but he's adjusting his height to properly spar with Xino. Also, it's cute that Krios is adjusting his strength to mirrored Xino's current strength. They keep sparring in front of me and I don't want to disturb them so I keep myself quiet at the entrance. When they ended their sparring, they do this stance where they would put the end point of their swords at each other's shoulder and bow down afterwards. After they did that, that's when I only walk towards them. As soon as Xino saw me, his face bright up and ran towards me.

"My Lady, you really came!"

"Of course, I promised you right?"

Xino happily pull me towards Krios and when we arrive there, I immediately lay down the blanket I carried with me. We sit down and I take out the sweets I have made. Their eyes immediately sparkle when they saw the sweets I made. But they stop after a few seconds and look at me. Did they not want to eat it? I though they like sweets?

"Is there something wrong?"

"My Lady, what about your sweets? Why there's only 2 containers here?"

"Oh, it's fine Young Master Xino, beside I made these cookies for you and Master Krios. So, I hope you'll like it."

I was shock when Xino break the cookie into two pieces and hand me the other half. I accept it because I don't want him to feel bad. The look at his face shows that he's determine to do something and I find it cute.

"Here My Lady, you can have the other half."

"Thank you Young Master Xino."

I happily eat the other half of the cookie Xino gave me and when I'm eating it, Krios hand over me a half piece of his cookie too. I slowly accept it and I saw that his cheeks were burning, I smile and laugh softly by what I saw. Good thing he's wearing a half mask and I can clearly see his cheeks burning red.

"Just eat it, I just can't let a woman starve to death."

"Yes, I'll eat these both well."

They both finally smile and we eat, chat and laugh under the sunny day.

(Just kidding, it rains after a few minutes they started eating.)
