A young boy kept running through thick bushes

Bang!! Bang!! The young boy turned to see his father in the pool of his own blood he stared at the man who murdered his father in cold blood with hatred

Noooooo!!!!

Alex jolted our of his dream, he was used to having these nightmares about his past. He took up his phone and call Jonah who answered on the third ring.

"Chen moyun, why are you calling me by this time it's midnight"Jonah asked with a husky voice but Alex was not having it

"I had a nightmare" hearing Alex words The sleep I'm Jonah went a thousand miles away.

Jonah has been the personal doctor of Alex for years. Ever since Alex watched his family being murdered in cold blood he grew blood thirsty. Jonah is a Chinese blood his real name is xie shiyin, from generations his family has pledged an aliance to moyun's family in terms of health.

"Moyun are you okay? Do you feel like there is a need for me to come over?" Jonah asked worriedly, meanwhile Alex was gripping onto a table tightly to keep himself at bay.whenever he has a nightmare is Jonah doesn't come in time he might turn into a maniac killing at least a person.

Alex stared at his reflection in the mirror, his blood shot eyes were enough to scare anyone but he couldn't let Jonah come to Kimberly's house especially when it's a three hours journey and the while family would suspect him, he will not be able to take it if his little tigress suddenly grows scared of him, he could not risk her knowing that he was a killing maniac, a mafia lord and a psychopath. He was lost in thought on what to do and at he same time battling with his inner demons.

"Moyun talk to me, should I come over, where are you?" Jonah was desperately asking him through the phone but got no reply.

Alex suddenly thought about Kimberly and how she would react if she sees him this way.the thought of her alone was enough to make him fight his demons.

" xie shiyin stay back I'm okay" without waiting for a reply he ended the call.

CHEN ZHINING NO !! Alex kept hearing voices in his head, he couldn't take it again he punched the mirror trying to suppress his urge to kill. He couldn't hold it anymore, he came out of the guest room rushing down the stairs like a predator looking for an unfortunate prey only for him to spot a familiar figure.

Kimberly at that time went down to drink water due to thirst.on returning she saw Alex looking so disheveled, his eyes blood shot and hand bleeding with particles of glasses in them. Not aware o the aura emanating from Alex she ran to him holding his bleeding palm with worry evident on her face.

Alex felt someone hold his palm, her scent was so soothing that without warning he hugged her tightly. He felt her stiffen first but then hugged him back.

She felt Alex rough breathing "Alex are you okay". The moment Alex hugged her, he felt his urge to kill suddenly fade her scent was all he needed to be calm. When he heard Kim asked if he was okay he immediately composed himself before replying "I'm fine"

"Alex you're bleeding so bad" Kim said pulling Alex to a couch before going to get the first aid box to tend to his injuries.

Alex stared at Kim who was busy tending to his wound, he watched her bandage his injury, he got lost in her amber green eyes.

" I'm done be careful next time,by the way what were you doing here? She asked Alex whose head immediately manufactured a lie.

"I came to drink water coz I couldn't sleep" Alex said it wasn't a complete lie duh

"Are you okay now" Kim asked and Alex nodded as he both headed to their different rooms in fact he was more than okay and that was what bothered him.

IN THE GUEST ROOM

Alex looked at his phone that had 19 missed calls from Jonah. He called back jonah who picked he call in the first ring and asked in Chinese;

"Chen moyun ni mei shi ba- (are you okay in English) Jonah asked worried

"wǒhěnhǎo"-(I'm fine) Alex replied making Jonah worry more.

"Moyun,Nǐ méiyǒu shā rènhé rén"- (moyun pls tell me you didn't kill anybody)

"Xie shiyin,Zhè jiùshì wǒ dǎ diànhuà gěi nǐ de yuányīn" (xie shiyin that's the reason why I called)hearing Alex word Jonah panicked more praying jay Alex had not hurt any innocent person

"nǐ shāle rén bùshì ma ?" (You killed someone didn't you?)

"Wǒ méiyǒu"—(I didn't )Alex replied shocking Jonah to the bone

"zhè zěnme kěnéng" (how is that possible ?) jonah asked shocked

" I don't know I just hugged Kimberly and like magic I was fine" Alex replies casually while Jonah went into shock.

"Wait like you just hugged her and you were fine" Jonah asked again wanting to confirm if he heard right. " yes the thing is that I and little tigress went to visit her mom yesterday, when it started I lost control, I even went out to look for someone to kill but then I saw her drinking water I hugged her and immediately I came back to my senses" Alex explained all that happened to Jonah who is still in the state of shock but then thought of something.

"Moyun, your condition is psychological, we tried different top notch psychologists and psychiatrist but none was able to help you but Kimberly was able to help you by just hugging and looking at her then it means one thing" Jonah paused making Alex anxiousness grow he wanted answer and he wasn't a patient man.

" what does it fucking means?" Alex asked getting impatient

" it means that she might be your healing pill" Jonah said making Alex confused

" there is a probability that she has he power to control your rage,how often do you have nightmares lately?" Jonah asked

" when I sleep with her on the same bed or when I think of her I don't have nightmares,but when I don't I do have nightmares" Alex said confirming Jonah's theory.

"Chen moyun she might be your healing pills, but it isn't certain but I'd look into it"Jonah assured while Alex just replied with an hmm before ending the call. He thought about all that Jonah said if truly she turned out to be his cure then he would never ever let her go she must be his.
