Chapter 87

I held my head so hard that I thought I was even going to crash it until I felt a gentle tap on my shoulders calming me down a bit.

"Are you alright?", Keenan asked and I just ran into his arms without a word. I really loved being in his arms that moment since I was going through a tough moment battling with what was going on inside my head.

"I…I…finally rem…remember this place", unable to speak freely because I was already in tears.

"Yeah, and I'm sorry for making you remember such a cruel act", he apologized and I didn't know why he was apologizing.

'But wait a minute, which cruel act was he talking about? He wasn't here so how did he find this place and why did he bring me here', I pulled away from him unconsciously surprised by my own thoughts.

"What do you mean by cruel act? Do you even know what I'm talking about?", I finally asked after wiping my tears from my face.

"Ash, I'd like to ask for your forgiveness…..I don't know how you are going to take this but I just…urhm ….I just need to tell you first", Keenan kept pouting words which didn't make any sense and it was making me feel uncomfortable.

"I seriously don't understand what you are talking about….I don't know how you found this place…neither do I know what you are apologizing for but I don't wanna stay here for another minute "

"Urhm…"

"Let's just get out of here and talk somewhere else", I cut him off before he could form any word in his mouth. I turned to leave but something stopped me from leaving, he said some words which sounded familiar, it was as if I have heard it before.

"Shssss, please pretty, don't make my work difficult, I'm going to make it quick and easy",with the same voice.

"Kee…no that's impossible, you weren't here right? Who told you? How did you know? Where were you?", the questions couldn't possibly stop forming within me. I was so confused and lost as to what was happening and I needed an urgent explanation before I went mad.

"Come have a seat first so I can explain everything to you", spoke calmly but I could feel worry in his voice but that wasn't the time to be worried about someone else. All I needed was civic explanations to all that was going on and why he quoted exactly the same words as that miserable bastard. Without complains, I followed him to where he directed me to sit.

"I'm all ears now", I spoke first after settling down .

"Urhm, Ash, I know this isn't going to sound so good but I just hope you make a wise decision after this. I don't want to influence your decision and I'm going to accept whatever response I get from you today, understood?", he said and all I did was to nod in response.

"But I'd first ask you this question, what would you do if one of your parents should be kidnapped and the kidnappers call you to poison someone, not to death but just to hurt the person?", he asked and it got me thinking deeply before coming to conclusion.

"If the person isn't going to die then I'm going to do it to save my parent", I answered and he smirked.

"Isn't that the answer you wanted?", I inquired.

"That's your solution so I can't change that.",

"My mother got kidnapped by someone I don't know and I had to save her at all cost ", he started and I felt bad for him.

"So did you get her?"

"Oh yeah I did, but it traumatized someone else ", he answered.

"Okay. So how is that related to the phrase you said some minutes ago?", I was loosing my patience.

"I said those words myself", he uttered but I wasn't surprised.

"Oh yeah, I know you said them that's why I'm asking how it is related and what are we even doing here?"

"No no, I mean, I said those words that day, Ash. They are my own words ", he sighed but I still wasn't getting him.

"What do you mean by you said those words that day? I didn't even know you and you weren't even there. You would have helped me I'd you were there, I know that", I refused to understand what he was saying but something caught my attention, his serious expression made me realize he wasn't joking.
