Chapter 26: A Royal Revelation

As the Lion Kingdom royal servant and his guard walked towards the castle with the city general, they found the city to be amusing, a clean and advanced place with alien-like tools and technology. When they reached the castle gate, it opened automatically without any assistance, leaving the royal servant surprised. The city general explained that it was the marvelous work of their king, something others couldn't replicate.

Entering the castle, the royal servant, and his guard found it impressive. Although not as grand as the Lion Kingdom castle, it had a modern and alien feel. Leo sat on his throne as they approached. The guard announced the visitors, and Leo granted permission for an audience. They proceeded to the audience hall, where Leo calmly greeted them.

The Lion Kingdom royal servant introduced himself as a high commander under the royal family. Leo inquired about their purpose, and the royal servant explained that they were searching for their princess, Freya, who had run away. Leo, using his magical eye, sensed the truth in their words.

The royal servant expressed relief at finding Freya safe. Leo, maintaining his calm demeanor, questioned why they knew about Eldoria in the middle of the Black Forest, where there had been no contact with the outside world. The royal servant explained that they discovered Eldoria as they got closer while searching for their princess.

Leo sensed the sincerity in their story and their true intentions. Using his magical eye, he recognized the royal servant's power and skills, noting the rare red color and the SSS rank power. Leo, with a hint of surprise, mentioned that red colors and SSS rank powers were exceptionally rare.

Freya was called, and the royal servant respectfully greeted her. Leo surprised everyone by confessing that he was in love with Freya and that she would be his wife. This revelation frustrated the royal servant, and Freya blushed at Leo's unexpected confession.

Leo asserted that he did not wish to involve Eldoria in any wars over his relationship with Freya. He warned that he would destroy anyone attempting to take her by force, releasing a formidable aura that overwhelmed the entire hall. Leo then allowed them to stay and recover before returning to their kingdom.

City general escorted them to their rooms in the castle, advising that if they wanted to explore the city, they needed Arwan's permission. The royal servant, cautious of Arwan's presence, spoke quietly, aware that Arwan, Leo's assistant and advisor, might be overhearing their conversation. Arwan harbored a deep resentment towards humans, especially those from the Lion Kingdom, due to the atrocities committed against the elves in the past. The chapter concluded with an air of maturity and professionalism, leaving room for the unfolding events in Eldoria.
