The Master of the guards again?

What woke Kuroko up was the banging on the front door on the other side of hallway. When he just got up from his bed, he heard the more knocks, bit louder. Because of this, he instead rushed to the front door in his plain white pyjamas, in case it's something important. As he opened the door, he noticed a familiar face but not from a good memory.

"Why are you here?" Kuroko sternly said.

"There is something that I need you to know. But only if you agree for me to teach you magic or how to attack." The Master of the guards answered.

"Why now?" He asked.

"I will explain when you agree."

"I won't accept. Actually I don't trust you one bit. You might kill me for all I know! I might have a life to live!"

"At that moment, I was directly ordered to. I didn't have a choice. The Demon General is more powerful than you think." The old man replied.

"I'll think about it. For now, leave!"

Before the old man turned to leave he suddenly disappeared and reappeared behind him and emitted an extremely powerful aura and brought out his dagger and held it against Kuroko's neck.

"Don't underestimate me either!"

The sudden release of that aura woke Yui up as she sprang from her bed and dashed as fast as she could towards the door. But by the time she arrived, he was gone. Sweat dropped down Kuroko's face.

"Who was that?!" Yui exclaimed.

"It was the Master of the Guards. He asked if he could tutor me in magic and tell me some information."

"Did you accept?" Yui was panting from the effort it took to get from her room to the door in a matter of a second. She even activated her increased speed skill!

"No, but I said I'll think about it. Honestly, I think we should train on our own for a bit. Just until we really need it." He said. Little did he know, that bit lasted within a day.

"Your shirt fits quite well on me!" Yui said while trying to lighten the mood.

'It does look quite good on you. It looks cute even, but that is one of my small ones from years ago.' he thought to himself.

"Yeah. let's go back inside and after breakfast, we'll head out for some training."

'And after the training, I'll go find a job.'

They headed back inside, Kuroko got changed and they both had porridge for breakfast then went out to train in their local park.

The park was a nice place with lots of green grass, trees, a dedicated gardening area and benches for people to rest on after they played around or to relax.

They set up in a secluded part and started testing their new moves or techniques.

"Oh yeah, Yui? before I forget, what is your attribute and your stats?"

"I'll check."
