Dear Readers,

This marks the end of Xing and Chenglei's life. Hope you guys enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

I posted the first chapter on Dec 23, 2018. It is been a long journey and there are a few of you who were with me from the beginning. And at first, there were not many readers and I thought of discontinuing this book. But I'm glad I pushed through.

I'm eternally grateful to you guys who encouraged me through your comments, reviews, and power stone votes. Your encouragement helped me push through the hard times.

At the end of December, I got a mail from the Webnovel team for contracting this book, in which case the chapters will be locked in a paywall. I kind of rejected their offer since I thought this book might be better left for free reading.

And so I wrote for at least three hours a day and didn't get paid even a cent. And I don't regret it. I really didn't think I would even get a single comment on my book. But I'm really glad this many people liked my book.

The main purpose I started writing this book was because this story got stuck in my head and I wanted to get it out somehow. Although it is not the best story that attracts everyone or with good grammar, I'm glad for those who persevered with my hideous writing.

I Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

I really enjoyed writing this book and all the characters are close to my heart like my own children. And that's why I tried to be fair with all of them.

I feel bad for the Emperor though. And I have mentioned he'd be having a good life his next life and so will the others. As one reader suggested, I am pondering over the idea of writing about the next life of Junjie where he finds his one true love. Not a separate book but just another volume in this book with not more than five chapters ( Although I really cannot write less. I know I said this book will be finished in 400 chapters and it is almost 500 chapters now )

Please give me your suggestions, if you want another five chapters about the Emperor's love story. It would be set in the modern era. It probably will be interesting.

Keep this book in your library if you wish. I have an idea for another book. It will be in the modern era with a female protagonist. Like this book, there will be no third parties who come between the main leads and a supporting ML and a little drama. I'll give the name of this new book after I post it here if I post it.
