Yale and Shera

--- Lunar Mountain's Peak (Aexelor)

The moment Jay left the mind room, he saw that Fenrir was still not around and saw that Rodrick and Cidney looked at him weirdly.

"Jay, just what happened to Jin? He suddenly disappeared when you touched him." Rodrick asked and wondered if Jay was still hiding some of his abilities from them.

"Oh. I forgot to tell you guys..." Jay quickly told the two about the mind room's existence before telling them about what Jin was currently doing. "Jin is currently in the mind room and I asked him to push some buttons and figure out their purpose. And when I told him that I also want a hidden spy camera in the Mind Room, he told me that it would take some time since he only has his tablet and does not have the rest of his tools with him."

"I see..." After nodding his head, Rodrick suddenly grabbed Jay on both of his shoulders and he suddenly became excited.

"Jay! Do you know how godly this mind room of yours is? A status screen to check yourself. Orbs that let you store anything, see whatever you want, create anything you want! A map that lets you teleport to any place you already been before!"

"I know. But due to an idiotic thinking of how I could add some thrill in my life by not depending on it too much, I really did not abuse the functions of the Mind Room that much, I think..." Jay said softly and pushed Rodrick away before he starts drooling due to his excitement.

"Dad! Aren't you forgetting to ask him the important stuff?" Cidney suddenly pulled Rodrick away and asked Jay something.

"This 'Ashnakara' place, why do we need to go there? Is there an unfinished business you have to do there?"

"Nope. It's true that I have some unfinished business, but I left all of that behind already and the reason why I need to go back to Ashnakara is to make amends with my friends. My friends whom I... betrayed." Jay said and wondered if 'betrayed' was the word he was thinking of as he thought of the Chicken Lord and everyone else who probably hates him.

"I see. Then what are we going to do once you're done with that?" Rodrick asked but he already had a great idea. His great idea is that he and Jay start a business somewhere and become the richest people in this world they are at right now.

"I don't know. What do you want to do brother?" Jay asked but before Rodrick could tell Jay about his great idea, Fenrir finally arrived and interrupted them.

"Damn. How the hell did you guys get here so fast?!!"

When Fenrir saw Rodrick suddenly looking at him with a wide grin and gave him a thumbs up, he sighed and continued speaking.

"Never mind. Don't tell me what you did."

Fenrir suddenly spat out a tiny scroll and the moment the scroll dropped on the ground, a large portal appeared in front of everyone.

"Let's go."

Jay nodded at Fenrir and led Rodrick and Cidney through the portal.

...

Meanwhile, at the same time, at another place...

--- Goblin Haven (Drifter Plane)

This plane was once the home of millions of goblins. Any kind or type of goblin that comes to imagination probably exists somewhere in this drifting plane. There were giant goblins, goblins wearing a full set of golden armor, assassin goblins, etc. Besides goblins, other lifeforms include the usual animals like cows, chickens, and whatnot. The only weird thing was that there were no humans or any other kind of monster in the plane.

But at the current time, the goblins' population dwindled. What was supposed to be millions of them were now only a few thousand. The reason behind this was because of Shera, the Fatelord of Darkness. This was the place where she brought Yale Flanders, who was once a core member of the Golden Phoenix.

Yale spent around two months killing goblins in this drifting plane in order to survive. And by killing goblins, he became stronger and stronger due to the Dark Star System that Shera bestowed upon him.

He was currently wearing a black robe, a dark purple scarf, and had a black mask covering his face except his eyes. He still looked the same as he did back then, with his tall physique and blond hair.

"Just a few more then I can leave!"

Yale thought to himself and was cursing Shera deep within himself. Every event that had happened at the Fatelord Plane, events like the Golden Phoenix becoming a kingdom, the cleansing operation at the Southern Desolate, and even the assault towards the Darkkonia Plane. Yale cursed Shera because he was supposed to be there helping his friends, but instead, he was here wasting his time with goblins.

It doesn't matter what he killed anyways since it grants him a soul that empowers the Dark Star System whenever he kills. But why the hell did Shera prevent him from joining everyone else and make him fight goblins that aren't even a threat to the Fatelord Plane and everyone else on it?

"Die!"

Yale shouted as a black longbow suddenly appeared on his hands and he fired 10 arrows that were entirely made out of black fire. He was aiming at a horde of wolf riding goblins that numbered up to 200 or something.

The goblins did not even stand a chance as they slowly got filled with holes and burnt to a crisp. For every ten arrows Yale fired, around 50 goblins fell and even the wolves they were riding burned with them.

"Can I leave now? PLEASE???"

Yale shouted loudly at the skies. Ever since Shera left him here, she never showed her face again but only talked to him telepathically.

"Nope. But anyways, I heard something interesting lately." Shera said to him in a teasing manner and continued, "Your friends disbanded the kingdom they've built and went on their separate ways. I've also heard how your 'guild leader' Jay killed himself."

"WHAT?!! LET ME OUT OF HERE ALREADY FOR FUCK SAKES!!!"

Yale shouted and cursed Shera. He gritted his teeth and hoped that Shera was just toying with him and did not tell him the truth. What was the use of getting stronger if the friends he was supposed to fight for suddenly decided to move on and forget about him?

"Huh? Why are you getting mad at me? I thought you desired power, strength, and fame?"

"Aren't you a Fatelord? Why are you doing this to me?!!"

Yale dropped on his knees and clutched the bloodstained soil below him. If Shera was this good in tormenting him, why won't she just torment their enemies instead?

"What does being a Fatelord have to do with what I like to do? Besides, after you help me destroy a couple of drifter planes, I am taking you back to my real home."

Yale was shocked when he heard this. Wasn't he just some kind of pawn doing whatever she wanted? And what the hell was she saying about her real home?

"Isn't the Fatelord Plane your home? What the fuck is wrong with you bitch?"

Yale could not really take it anymore and just cursed at Shera, not even caring of the consequences anymore since what was the use of saving himself after knowing what happened to everyone.

"Where did you get the idea that the Fatelord Plane is my home? And how dare you call me a bitch?!!" Shera suddenly got angry and Yale felt as if his heart was being crushed by something. He started coughing up blood and the veins on his face started popping up. It was too painful and he wondered if he will die like this.

After a few seconds, the pain stopped and he felt his heart getting lighter and he slowly recovered from what Shera did to him.

"Ungrateful bastard... you really are just like me. Just like the Antaros people. And by the way..."

Shera suddenly became silent as she appeared in front of Yale, who had a ghastly look on his face.

She then kicked Yale gently and made him sit on the ground, with his face lifted and she made sure that he was looking at her carefully.

Her hair suddenly turned into a dark green color and the pupils of her eyes also turned into dark green.

"Do you really want to stop this training session? After all the trouble I did just for you..."

Shera suddenly waved her hands and a green portal appeared beside her.

"I'll give you three tries to guess the planar number of the Fatelord Plane. If you succeed, you may return. If not, I will turn you into my slave. What do you say?"

Yale gritted his teeth and nodded at Shera. He started to think about a ten digit combination of letters and numbers. After a couple of minutes, he already failed his two attempts and only had one more chance.

"Fuck you."

Yale said softly as he suddenly stood up and did a very risky plan. He immediately dashed towards the portal. Sadly though, Shera saw through his plan and grabbed his hand just as he was about to reach the portal.

"What a rude boy. I'll make sure to teach you proper manners when we end this farce-"

But before Shera could even continue, Yale suddenly grabbed her by the waist and kissed her using his tongue.

"FUCKING PIECE OF-"

Shera punched Yale on his chest and used her magic to constrict him. Dark green threads wrapped around Yale and made him lost control over his body.

"HOW DARE YOU!"

Just as Shera was thinking of how she should punish Yale and make him suffer, she felt her heart getting crushed and losing control over her body. The moment this happened, the dark green threads wrapped around Yale disappeared.

Taking advantage of this moment, before Shera could even recover, Yale suddenly grabbed a dagger concealed under his robes and stabbed Shera on her head.

"You..."

Not even waiting to see Shera's final moments, Yale jumped at the green portal behind him and hoped he would end up at the Fatelord Plane.

"Fatelord my ass! Anyone who stands in my way and my friends will die before me!"

With this thought in his mind, Yale closed his eyes and hoped for the best.

...

At the same time Yale entered the portal...

--- Evergreen Forest, Utopian Region (Ashnakara)

Jay, Rodrick, and Cidney were currently on their way to Bevelona City. For some reason, Rodrick's abilities still worked so their trip was really smooth, with Rodrick carrying the two and teleporting to wherever Jay pointed.

"Just keep heading north until we leave the forest area. If we don't reach a wide river, then it means your direction of north is messed up." Jay said to Rodrick and wondered if they were really heading north.

"Relax. We can just cut down the trees if we get lost." Rodrick said happily.

...

--- Redmist Valley, Doomsday Region

Roasted Boar was currently finding his way out of the valley and practiced using his spells by converting Spirit Power into a medium for his spells.

"It works but the conversion rate of Spirit Power is too long. I could probably cast around a hundred spells before my Spirit Power is drained. I should also consider learning those Worldly Laws so that I won't have to depend on Spirit Power that much..."

Just as he was muttering to himself and channeled a mini fireball on each hand, a green portal suddenly appeared above him and someone came out of it.

"What the hell?"

Roasted Boar stopped practicing and became alert since he was not sure if the man who came out of the portal was an enemy or not.

"Damn. Where am I?"

Yale massaged his head since he hit the ground pretty hard. But the moment he lifted his head, he saw a very familiar face.

"Boar?"

"Huh?" Wondering if the man in front of him was talking to him or if the man was just thinking of an animal, Roasted Boar was confused.

Sensing that Roasted Boar did not recognize him, Yale remembered that he had a hood on his face so he took it off.

"Yale? You're not dead?" Roasted Boar was shocked and helped Yale get up from the ground.

"Nah, I just got kidnapped by a Fatelord. Is it true that the Golden Phoenix disbanded? And where are we anyways?" Yale asked and wondered why Roasted Boar looked so different and why he was emitting a weird aura.

"Yeah. Everyone went their own separate ways after Jay killed himself."

"Jay is really dead?!!" Yale was shocked and looked at Roasted Boar with a weird look on his face.

"Yup. Long story short, he does not want to be a part of anything anymore and just wants to move on to a normal life. As for everyone else, I am guessing that just like me, they decided to act on their own and get stronger. But since this is the case, I took it upon myself that once I become the strongest sorcerer in this dimension, I will unify all of the planes and fix anything else that could be fixed. So what about you, anything you would like to share?"

Roasted Boar started walking and Yale followed him. As for the mind room's existence and the fact that Jay was still alive, he did not speak a word about this.
