Chapter 5- What will happen if I die?

'You can do it on your own honey.'

'Lily please'

'No'

That was the end Rowan silently went back to cooking while Lily watched him on the sidelines, the dinner was finally served and the whole time Rowan complained about how much his eyes burning.

Lily finished eating and was loading the utensils into the washer,

'Care to explain what happened?'

Rowan sensed the situation and knew this, he was running away but, he was caught.

'She was just a customer'

'Explain'

There was no room for escape,

The whole story came out of Rowan's mouth as if he was a parrot, he didn't withhold any information.

'The eerie feeling?' (Lily)*concerned*

'We need to ask the elders' (Lily)

'Let's go on a vacation after a week to the village, people will just see it as a comfort for the missed wedding' (Rowan)

It was quite clear that something was up, If the person was aiming for them even after the incident, he will try his best to follow them and if he doesn't find them, he would notice something and the mess will turn big, they had to take care of this as smoothly as possible.

First, they needed to know why Rowan felt eerie and what exactly this person was and how was he so agile to just vanish out of nowhere.

The phone rang Lily quickly connected it to the laptop and answered the call,

'Where is he?' *angry*

'Sleeping' (Lily)*gulping*

'Awake him' *ordering*

'Yes' (Lily)*docile*

Lily quickly pulled away from the blanket and threw Rowan down,

'My girl, wait using the same bed?' *concerned*

Hearing this Rowan quickly woke up from his slump before Lily could say anything,

'We are being good, we respect the oath, this is good for becoming closer and understanding.' (Rowan)*talking shit*

Rowan's sugar-coated words satisfied the Sibyl.

'Where is the Seer?' (Rowan)*desperate attempt to change the topic*

'She will be here, the Eliora tribe came to pay respect she sent me first as I was getting annoyed'(Sibyl)

Within a few minutes Seer entered the room where they were calling, Rowan froze up seeing Seer and corrected himself on the other hand Lily was much more relaxed

'Love, did you scold them?' (Seer)*gentle tone*

'No' (Sibyl)*smiling*

'I'll do it' (Seer)

Seer turned her face to the screen, the intimidating aura though just virtual seemed to have reached Rowan, who was on his best behavior;

'Lily, it must be tough having such a husband.' (Seer)*sad*

'A little bit' (Lily)*nodding along*_

Though Rowan was annoyed by this conversation, he had no other choice than to be a good boy and accept the truth,

'My pitiful girl goes have breakfast; I'll talk to this brat.' (Seer)*loving*

Without another thought Lily got up and walked to the kitchen, she didn't turn back; she saw where she was and thought, why she was, where she is? Kitchen, for Lily kitchen, was a bombing base, like a great child she was she called for takeout, she chose the menus that seemed good, Lily knew the moment Rowan comes out of the room he will be a hungry wolf, and thus, she needed food at hands. To take that guy, it had been quite a long time since Rowan had gone in, this time he screwed up big time so, Lily had expected this, the food arrived so did Rowan come out of the room.

Rowan came out of the room, he was more haggard than the last 12 times, he blankly stared at the painting, Lily had just received the take out, she got concerned at the sight of Rowan's listless expression,

'What happened?' (Lily)*concerned*

Though, Rowan was not honest with the reply but, it didn't seem like he didn't want to share about it, Lily is the one who was always there with him knew, what was up,

'Are you fine?' (Lily)*worried*

Lily wrapped her arms around Rowan, made eye contact with him, he stared at Lily's face for a while, this comforted him to a large extent he calmed himself down hugged Lily tighter, carried her to the bedroom, and laid her on the bed, he laid upon her hugged her tighter and rested his head on her shoulder, Lily was a bit startled when Rowan acted this way, he rarely did this, she runs her fingers through his hair and kissed his forehead, after a while, Rowan pulled Lily upon himself and laid her upon his chest, he fumbled her hair,

'The Seer said that, if I engage in any form of sexual intimacy with a human, the marks will fade.' (Rowan)*unhappy*

'We were taught about it long ago.' (Lily)*confused*

The time a werewolf is born and starts to understand terms, they are taught about every detail about the mark and they were the basic knowledge, in terms of a partner having sexual intimacy with a human, it would be worse for that particular partner, they will develop the divine curse and die without the call, Rowan talking about this made Lily confused they were connected by the mark thus, everything about it was known clearly,

This was another common knowledge in the history, there were 3 instances of Seer losing Sibyl or a Sibyl losing a Seer, in these cases, the mark the alive partner shared with the dead one will go away after the mourning period and the new mark appears on them the scepter or the diadem does not fade away but, appears on their next partner,
