Chapter 27- The cursed War- The Event

'Mom, why did you call me?' (Lily)

'Wait till your fathers is here.' (Lily's mom)

Lily who had just returned and was excited about the breaking in was urgently called down by her mom, her mom's voice was restless, it meant it was something extremely serious, Lily got worried seeing her mom's worried face, she had no idea what was going on with her mom, she just sat there staring at her mom whose gazes was following her father, who was walking inside the mansion,

'Honey, what is going on?' (Lily's dad)*worried*

'I think it's the time for the 'event' to continue.' (Lily's mom)*troubled*

'What are you speaking about? The 'event' was over ages ago.' (Lily's dad)*concerned*

The 'event' no one knew why the cursed event happens every time a new leader takes their stage, the event is nothing but a war, this war is initiated by the vicious werewolf, the war takes place in the 'Cursed plain', it is located in the between the Light forest and the dwelling place of vicious werewolf, in this war either the leader of the vicious werewolf dies or the Leader of the Light werewolves dies, only when one of them die, does the war come to an end, in the history only 3 times did the Light werewolf loose and lost their leader, once the Leader of Light werewolf die new one is chosen to take their place and until the vicious werewolf leader changes the 'event' doesn't take place, the reason has never been clear, the main reason is said to be that the vicious werewolf try to totally dominate the Light werewolf so as to be the strongest and hence, they are a threat to the Light werewolf, the last war was initiated by the Light werewolf on the leadership of the current Leaders, they won a great victory though, many elders found it unethical because the vicious werewolf didn't trouble them so, being the one to initiate the 'Event' was immoral but, seeing the pros, the number of vicious werewolf being less, most of them supported and the "Event" which took place and the Light werewolf won a great victory.

Lily's mom was saying that the Event will take place, which was unbelievable, Rowan and Lily hadn't taken the stage yet and according to the Leader, they had defeated the vicious werewolf Leaders and killed them so, what would be the reason for this worst nightmare to happen? The various question was going around Lily's mind, why? How? what? Seriously?

Looking at Lily's astonished face her mom caught onto what Lily was thinking,

'The Leader of the vicious werewolf is not dead yet.' (Lily's mom)

The words reached Lily's ears like a flash of light, she was astonished, it was proudly announced during the last war with the vicious werewolves and even the victory parade celebration took place so, what was going on? Was the big question mark on her face,

'Honey, the vicious werewolf leader were killed and Rowan and Lily are yet to take the stage.' (Lily's father)

'Exactly mom!' (Lily)*worried and concerned*

'No, the leader of the vicious werewolves was not killed, it was a lie to put the werewolves at ease.'(Lily's mom)

'Explain!!!!' (Lily's father)

'What???' (Lily)

'Hear me, during the Event many of the vicious werewolves participated, their population was extremely low at that time, and so, during the war, we overpowered them but, not in a good way, many died, many young ones died, it went to the point that even the little ones had to join, it was our mistake, so, the wife of the Leader met with our Leaders and they talked about something, some deal was made and then we proclaimed we won and the further is well known, the Leader of the vicious werewolf was almost killed but, he survived, we couldn't continue the war as we had already announced the victory and if the secret got out everyone would be troubled and a mess so, to maintain the peace the lie was made, the vicious leader is still alive, the war will take place very soon it seems.' (Lily's mom)

'How do you know?' (Lily's dad)*curious*

'My parents told me.' (Lily's mom)*stutters*

'What?' (Lily's dad)*shocked*

'I am sorry honey but, they made me take the oath of the grave!' (Lily's mom)

The air in the room got heavy, Lily didn't know what to do and it was not her place to speak, reading the room she quietly left the room,

'Hey, there!' (Rowan)*excited*

'What are you doing here?' (Lily)*smiles*

'I missed my babe, come here give me a kiss.' (Rowan)*teasing*

Lily went near him and gave him a light kiss on his cheeks, Rowan was too stunned and just froze, Rowan would occasionally trouble her and tease her but, she would just ignore him most of the time but, this took him off-guard,

'You asked for it.' (Lily)*smiles*

'You got super bold!' (Rowan)*stunned*

Lily came near him and sat on his lap and wrapped her arms around his neck and looked straight at him,

'You don't like it?' (Lily)*Pouts*

'I love it!' (Rowan)

Rowan pulled Lily loser and gave her a tight hug, Rowan kissed Lily on her cheeks and forehead and as usual Lily turned beet red,

'Lily are you in there?' (Lily's mom)

Before Lily's mom could utter the next sentence the panic in the eyes of the couple was seen, Rowan in Lily's room would be a great sight to see and next Rowan would be grounded for at least a month so would Lily be. Rowan jumped around here and there to find a space to hide and the only place he found was to turn into wolf and get fixed right inside the tiny cabinet besides Lily's bed, Lily pushed Rowan inside and closed the cabinet,
