Chapter 13 (Lead The Way)

Brother Tang, who was stunned when he saw the bullet, was immediately hit and suddenly a red explosion appeared on the bullet that hit the mutant. The tunnel was destroyed and luckily Roland was able to jump and roll out of the tunnel.

They survived the explosion inside earlier.

Line sat up while holding the back of his neck. "Damn, you really can't bring me to safety."

"Okay, let's get out of here, the giant hasn't been destroyed yet," said Line who stood up.

He really recovered quickly from the injuries he suffered.

But not long after, a black military car appeared and stopped in front of them. Line stopped the car and they waited for someone to get out of the car. Then there were 2 men wearing army uniforms walking down to their car. When Line was about to open the door, Roland stopped her.

"Just leave it to me, I think I know them" He stared then got out of the car.

The 2 soldiers were very surprised when they saw Roland come out. "Roland senpai, you are Roland senpai?!?" said one of the soldiers. "Yes, that's my name, how do you know me?"

"Who doesn't know you who replaced Line at that agent?"

But when they were about to open the door, they both heard the sound of a jet plane overhead. They looked up and saw 4 jet planes passing them and flying above the huge giant.

Instantly the 4 planes dropped explosive rockets from above and hit several parts of the giant's body. Line and Roland seemed silent when they saw that and only felt the strong wind of the bomb gas pass by them. The 4 rockets caused damage to the zombie's body, including the hands, base of the neck, head and legs, exploded and disappeared causing him to fall, scattering many buildings. After launching the rocket, the 4 planes flew quickly leaving the scene. Line and Roland, who were still standing watching this, came back to their senses.

"... It seems that technology is utilized even though there are things like this," Roland said.

"They're not the only ones who have it," Line added and turned around but was shocked and fell silent. Roland also turned back but he was just as surprised as Line. They only saw a burly man pointing a gun at him from a decisive distance.

The man seemed to be wearing glasses earlier, but he immediately took off his glasses and looked at them sharply. "Hey, my senior, how are you, still remember me?" He looked arrogant.

"Who doesn't remember the 5 year old child who whined for candy?" Line immediately replied in a very mocking tone. Then Roland laughed humorously with him. "Pft... Jokes...."
