CHAPTER 8

"It's almost 5 hrs drive on the way here. We still have time and Kath told her it's somewhere south, she couldn't guess which town right? " Tyler exclaimed feeling uneasy but tried to keep calm. "Anyways, let's not think about it. Let's go and find the kids. "

"You liked Science fiction? That's pretty cool for such a kid like you. Are you some kind of genius child or something? " Lavender chuckling with Jackie's comment on Franklin's taste in books. "I'd like to think I'm as normal as you both are and I have a name not just some 'kid' you speak off, it's Frank. "

The bell rang and everyone looked at the door where a little girl in her pigtails with ice cream in hand came in pouting. "FRANKY! YOU LEFT ME! " Franklin sighs at the sight of his little sister, he went to her side and take out his hanky to brush away the ice cream mess on Abigail's cheek. "I didn't left you, I told you I'd be checking out the library while you get your ice cream. " It's such a sweet scene to see.

Lavender on the other hand almost dropped the book in her hand as she saw the little girl, her heart is pounding so hard in her chest making it harder to breath. "Miss Lav? You okay? " She looked at her assistant's worried face and nodded. "I..I think I need a little break, can you take over for awhile? I'll go get some air. " Jackie nodded as Lavender head off.

While outside, Lavender felt like a missing of her was just found, she sits on a little bench that is kinda secluded and stayed there for awhile reminiscing the past specifically, 6 years ago.

"W-we can't. " She softly answered as Tyler hold her in his warm arms almost making her feel at home. "We love each other Lav. I love you and only you, now that I've found you. I can never let you go again. " She suppress her cries but failed. "Lav, I know what we did a few weeks ago is a sin but it felt so right and I.. I love you, I can never be with Hazel because it's all you. I was suppose to break it off with Hazel. I don't love her, I never did, never will. Lav, please. I'm begging you! Don't leave me again. "

They both stood there crying in each other's arms, the warm feeling, their hearts are in sync. "I'll take care of you and the baby. We'll start our family together, you, me and our little bean in your belly. " Lavender pushes Tyler and look away. "You have a son with Hazel, are you going to abandon him? You can't do that! That is so wrong. "

"W-what are you talking about? I am taking Franklin with me. I can never trust that woman! After everything she'd done to the both of us. I could never ever trust her again! She schemed and drugged me to sleep with her during our anniversary, she hurt you without me knowing, then she'll show up with a baby in hand saying it was mine. I don't even know if Franklin is mine but I am taking responsibility for him but please don't leave me. I can lose everything but not you. Not again! "

Lavender held her stomach and shake her head. "Then how are you so sure that the baby I have is yours? " Tyler paused and looked at Lavender as if it's the most impossible thing he's ever heard. "Lav! I can feel it. Please, I would crumble without you. Please.. " Tyler kneeled crying his heart out in front of Lavender. "I won't know what to do without you. I'll take of everything, Hazel will be gone, Franklin will be with us and you, you'll be with me. "

In the end Lavender walk away from the broken Tyler bringing with her the pain from seeing the love of her life. She felt too broken to even think about anything else but the baby, she have to be strong for the baby.

Soon after she gave birth to a baby girl, a girl with her eyes.

She brush off the tears than ran down her cheeks, the pain is still in her heart. "I couldn't even tell him why I left her with him. I miss them. " Then she cried once again.

"So are you gonna borrow that book? " Jackie asked after awhile of Lavender's walk out moment as she stare at both kids. "Maybe later, my little sister is making a mess in your building. I apologize. " Jackie smiles and look closely at the little girl. "Wow baby girl, you have a gorgeous eyes just like Miss Lav's. " Abigail beam at what she heard. "I wanna know her name. She's so beautiful. I want her to be my bestfriend. "

Abigail and Franklin stared at each other and nodded. "Yeah she's by far the prettiest woman I've seen here. " Jackie chuckles. "Well she really is. Her name is..."

"Frank! Abby! Thank God we've found you. " Tyler came in following behind him is Rafael. "Daddy and Uncle! Why are you here? " Abigail jump towards her Dad. "We saw a beautiful woman earlier. We're trying to know her name. " Rafael heard it so he exchange looks with Tyler. "Really darling? So, where's this beautiful woman that my baby girl saw huh? "

"Oh. Miss Lav went out for awhile maybe she'll be back later. Probably after lunch. " 'Lav' Tyler thought. "Come here Franky, we'll eat lunch now. We'll be back to fetch the books you like later. See you later Miss. " Rafael smiled at Jackie then they all went outside to have lunch at some pizza house in the town.

"You really think it's her?! " Tyler happily exclaimed at Franklin as he was sharing what he know. "And Daddy, she almost look like she's about to cry when she saw me. Do I look scary? " Abigail said as she munch on her pizza. "Actually, to be honest. You both need to know the truth now. Franklin, Hazel and I are not your parents. " Franklin dropped his pizza "W-what? I.. I'm adopted? " He look like he's about to cry when he stare at both his Dad and Uncle.

Rafael held his hand and smile widely. "Infact, your parents has always been close to you this whole time. I am your real Uncle and your Uncle Rafael is..your Dad. " Silence reigns between the 4 of them until Abigail cried. "Hey hey, baby girl why are you crying? " Tyler panicked as she saw her tears. "D-does that mean you have no child Daddy?! That's so sad! "

Her cries went louder, Rafael laughs. "No baby! " Tyler laugh as well hugging her. "You are Daddy's and Lavender's precious treasure. " The cries subsided. "Aunt Lavender is my mommy? " Abigail look at her Daddy. "Yes baby, it's the truth we were supposed to hide. Mommy's wish but I think mommy needs you as well so we're here to look for her. "
