Chapter 2: Her Addiction

Laura's alarm rang at 7:00 am and she got up . She went to the bathroom and took her bath and she came out for breakfast so she could leave by 8:00 to reach there by 8:30. After she had breakfast she called franka to tell her that she was finally leaving. "Monkey ! . I'm set to leave now . I'm going to miss you so much ." " My love take care . Once you reach there please call me . I don't want to cry ." Franka said sadly. She would surely miss her but she was so happy because even after her family treated her bad she still made it today. "okay monkey i will . I have to go now . My ride is waiting for me . " Laura's ride was already waiting for her before she called franka but she wanted to make sure she called her before taking off. She put off the lights and looked at the house once. more ." I'm gonna miss you . Stay safe." she said to her house before locking it and taking the key with her . She put all her luggages inside the car and she was set to go. The car belonged to the company so the driver knew the location of the airport.

When they got there she was very nervous and excited at the same time because she hasn't entered a plane before but today she was going to enter. The driver carried her luggages and they entered the airport. She took a quick glance before the driver said he was leaving then she went ahead and did everything she was asked to do.

she went to her plane and when she entered she was beyond surprised. She didn't know that that's how a plane would look and it was even first class for that matter . She couldn't wait to see her boss and thank him so much.

"This way sir." The flight attendant said to Mr Maxwell the CEO of JK's cooperation. He was a very handsome looking man with long eyelashes. He had a stern looking face which made people to be afraid of him. He hasn't smiled to his workers since he owned the cooperation. He has been the CEO for about five years now and since then not even a smirk was on his face . He liked it that way.

Any women that throws herself on him was fired so he had only make workers so Laura was the first female worker in the office after a year.

He was also taking the same flight as Laura as he wanted to see her and see whether she'll throw herself on him. He was very popular so there's no way she wouldn't recognize him.

When he entered the plane she didn't move thinking it was the flight attendant but when she looked up she saw him. Her addiction. She got right up and greeted"Good day sir. I'm Laura Parker your new PA. "

She said with a smile on her face as she extended her hand for a handshake.

He walked pass her and took his seat without saying a word. She had expected it but it was her crush she could try everything. She wasn't going to look that desperate because of what she had heard but she just wanted to make her like her back.

Why did she like him? she didn't know but all she knew is that she crushed on him.

"I'm going to do my very best to make ends meet. " she said trying to get him to say something but he didn't. His face was still stern as though she was pissing him off. She went back to her seat and sat down sadly .
