Chapter 1:PA

"Congratulations miss Laura for your hard work.You have been promoted to the position of the PA of the CEO. You'll have to leave the county to where the headquarters is to start your work on Monday .

Your flight and accomodations has been settled already so you're just to go the airport with your passport. Congratulations once more and please don't piss the CEO off ."

Laura couldn't believe her eyes as she read the letter sent to her . she screamed at the top of her voice until she was out of breath. She was so happy that the joy couldn't contain her so she decided to call her bestie to share the good and bad news . The good news is that she was finally leaving this country and she was working as the PA of the CEO she always admired . The bad news was that she was leaving her and her parents here and she couldn't help but feel bad .

buzz,buzz the line of her bestie rang and finally she picked." Hey monkey ,how are you doing?" . "I'm fine love, you ? "" I'm good too . Remember i always wished to get the PA job and guess what I've go..."

Before she could complete her statement she was interrupted with a scream from her bestie. "OMG ,tell me something. I knew you would get it . I'm so happy for you but you'll leave me won't you?"

"I have to. " Laura said in a sad tone. Though her parents were dead and buried here it was still like they were around her so she felt like she was leaving them behind and also her bestie ."Don't worry I'll call you everyday and tell you how my day was . Don't miss me too much " Laura said jokingly. Okay talk to you later ,work calls . " Franks her bestie said this and and hung up. They have been best friends since ss1 but they have been friends since jss1.

Laura's parents died after her graduation from secondary school to the tertiary institution and Franka's parents were very wealthy so they took her in to complete her tertiary education. For her first year they were nice to her but after she had good grades than their daughter their attitude towards her changed so she decided to leave the house after she was done with school because of course she wasn't the paying her school fees. Before she graduated from university she found a handwork that paid her dearly so after she was done ,she was fit to own her apartment and by God's grace she found a job as a receptionist in one of the biggest company in the country. Now that she was given the post of the PA of her boss she couldn't be more happier because she admired him even if she hasn't seen him before .

She got up from the couch and put on a blue short and a sleeveless top with a black and white flower sleepers for shopping. She was getting prepared for her journey tomorrow so she went shopping.

After she got back she packed her things and slept to get ready for her flight tomorrow.
