"Quadruplet Magic: Magic Wall! Then... Summon! Earth Dragon General!!!!"

Immediately after seeing the large dragon on the roof of the room, I activated the magic wall up to four layers and immediately summoned Edji with all my remaining MP. As Solem had planned, this would be a battle between two giant dragons!

"Dragon Breath!"

I ordered Edji to spit out his attacks at the Dragon King who was our enemy. The attack had absolutely no effect as it failed to penetrate the Earth Dragon King's Dragon Armor.

The dragon king then replied with a breath of fire like Edji's breath.

"Edji, Clay Shield!"

I ordered Edji to make a shield with his earthbending skill. It didn't completely block all the damage that hit us but it did manage to reduce the damage by fifty percent. My HP was eroded by ten percent of the total.

We managed to reduce the damage, but we still received more damage than the damage he received. Solem had calculated that I would lose ten percent of HP from the start and it did huh. Then next...

The earth shield that Edji made was destroyed with just one punch from the giant dragon. Yes, it was as Solem had predicted. I prepared one of the swords that Solem gave me and pointed it at the giant dragon.

"Extinction!!"

After chanting the keyword for the skill enchanted in the sword, a mighty thunderbolt shot out of the sword and hit our enemy's dragon. The dragon looked to be in pain after taking the attack and took a few steps back. I immediately ordered Edji to attack him again with his bursts.

The two attacks combined reduced the dragon king's HP by ten percent. After that, as Solem suggested I repeated it many times for over an hour. The attack pattern Solem had been told was so precise it made me cringe.

After nearly two hours, I managed to scrape the first layer of the dragon's HP away. Starting from here, according to Solem his attack pattern will change. He was no longer trying to attack with his breaths but he would start attacking with his earth elemental magic.

"Quadruple Magic: Magic Nullification!"

I use the magic nullification skill that I use to counteract the magic around me. Since it's four layers, I'm sure it's enough to withstand the dragon's skills a few times. Then...

"Quadruple Magic: Magic Arrow!"

I used the same skill as Solem's spam skill. The skill creates four magic arrows which are then launched towards the enemy. Although as I expected, that attack had absolutely no effect on the dragon. I even wonder why Solem told me to attack him with this skill.

After the four magic arrows hit the dragon, the dragon formed a magic circle from under its feet that expanded all over the room. After that, every surface in the room turned into some kind of mud.

"This..."

This was not in the data Solem provided! In the data Solem gave, after this the boss should use the Sudden Pierce skill which stabs all players near the surface with material from that surface. Skill that impossible to defend against but will be nullified with the nullification magic I had actived before.

"How about this..."

I thought for a moment what to do because the attack pattern changed from what Solem told me. Should I change my attack pattern, or should I continue as Solem told me? While thinking that, I tried to appraise the mud.

The name of that mud is mud of curse and its effect is some kind of poison to HP and MP huh… I didn't get hit by that mud, thanks to magic nullification and magic wall. Maybe if I didn't use it and got touched by the mud, my MP would run out much faster than it should.

Solem reckoned that my battle would take up to five hours and I would run out of all my MP and all my potions by the time it ended. In that case, if I were hit by that mud, then I would definitely lose rather than win just like Solem calculated. In that case...!

"Edji! Full attack!"

Since this mud doesn't really matter, I'll ignore it for the time being. For now, I'll go into stage two of the Solem strategy. Full attack from Edji on the dragon!

Edji immediately stepped forward and bit the dragon's neck. The dragon rebelled and kicked Edji with its hind legs. The dragon tried to release its breath, but Edji attacked by colliding with the dragon's body. They did that for a few minutes.

"Quadruple Magic: Magic Heal!"

Preparing for a long battle, I used healing magic to recover Edji's HP. It was a simple recovery skill, so it could only heal about two percent of Edji's HP but Solem said that was enough. For me, I drank HP and MP recovery potions.

The fight that took place in that place really looked like a fictional fight. Edji tried to blow his breath at the dragon. Edji's breath was bigger than Edji's usual breath, it took the dragon's entire body into the attack but I could see it didn't take any damage from the attack.

Edji approached the dragon and kicked it with his foot which had been covered in stone for some time. Edji's attack was followed by a punch from his fist which was also covered in stones. Even if magic attacks were negated by the Dragon Armor, the impact of physical attacks have been felt even if it was slightly.

The boss pattern on the second HP layer is a barrage of magic attacks but because Edji keeps bothering him, his magic attacks rarely come out. I continued the fight continuously like that for half an hour, until the second layer of the boss' HP was eroded away.

"Next Layer!!" I shouted.

Without changing strategy because there wasn't much change in the attack algorithm from the dragon, I managed to reduce two more layers of its HP until only one last HP bar remained. But this last HP bar...

GWAAAAAHHHHHH

...was the most difficult!!

After the dragon's loud roar, an announcement that I was hit by a bad status appeared. I looked beside my HP bar and there were already three debuffs appearing; defense down, fear, and terror. It was three bad status that completely lowered the target's defense, in this case me.

But...

"Extinction!"

I held out the sword Solem gave me earlier and said the password to activate it. A bolt of lightning shot out from the blade and struck the dragon king. The attack has such a big impact that it can wipe out half of the dragon's HP bar and stun it.

"Now is the time-"

"Stop, master."

When I just started to attack again, Edji stopped me.

"What?" I asked.

"Let me talk to him first." said Edji.

"Eh? Ah, maybe..."

After hearing Edji's request, I allowed it. After that he immediately prostrated(?) in front of the earth dragon king. After that they spoke in a language I did not know. Edji then approached me then...

"Be grateful, master. His highness is permitting to make a contract with master."

I was silent for a while after hearing Edji's words, but after that...

"EEEEHHHHHHHH!?!?!?"

I screamed loudly after realizing what Edji meant.

"No no no, he's the boss of a world dungeon you know? Is it okay for him to make a contract with players?"

"Master is an elf. Despite having a human-like body, master has a higher rank than humans."

Aah… an event due to a special condition huh. An elf and a summoner would have an event like this huh. I wonder if Solem also knows about this event? Well, knowing him is possible though.

"Is it ... really okay?" I asked again to be sure.

The dragon king nodded indicating that it really wasn't a problem. I was still a bit doubtful at that state, but it seemed Edji was telling the truth. Therefore, I will accept this tempting offer. When else can summon boss monsters right?

I stretched out my hand while the dragon king brought his head into my palm.

"Contracts!"

I then activated the skill contract and ended up contracting with him. The contracting was successful and he's now a monster that I can summon…should be. I saw the skill explanation and was very surprised.

Just like when I made a contract with Edji, I got two additional skills besides the dragon summon skill. What surprised me was that the skills I got looked really overpowered and unbalanced! What was this fifty percent MP increase?!

But… the MP needed to summon the Dragon King was ten times the MP needed to summon Edji. I really can't use it for now. Hopefully I will get more skill to increase MP in the next dungeons.

But considering I have to do this for two weeks... I really feel exhausted. I mean, this fight lasted for five hours you know? Do you really think any normal person could be like this for two weeks?! Even though this is the most efficient and effective way to level up and gain skills, it still feels tiring.

If tomorrow's tournament rewards aren't as good as I thought, I'll sue Solem to force me into this forced labor!
