Edward Kyuron VS Lana
Lana continued to shower Kyuron with her water shots relentlessly. Making the old man inevitably have to dodge as fast as lightning jumping from one street to another. And the short-haired girl continued to chase him with a sly smile that seemed to enjoy.
"You're surrounded, there's nowhere for you to hide let alone escape," the girl shouted while continuing to control the water in the ocean that could already be called her palace.
Edward Kyuron, an old man who spent part of his life as an explorer of the Rania Nation born in Mahija City. He is from the Flinn caste and masters the earth element according to his hometown.
He was chosen to be an explorer when he was 25 years old. After that, his life was devoted to protecting Porta Loka from the outside world, and was assigned as an explorer in the Earth and Mars regions. He already had so much experience and was also noted as the oldest explorer of the Rania Nation.
Kyuron continued to speed up, dodging attack after attack from Lana who seemed to be getting annoyed. Although his body was old and not as agile as before, his movements could still keep up with the girl who was much younger than him.
"Don't piss me off by continuing to dodge my attacks, damn old man," she called out as she continued to command the seawater to chase her. But Kyuron was too agile for an old man, and that made Lana scream in anger.
Lana took a quick aim at the waypoint in front of Kyuron. A burst of seawater seemed to soar up to form a wall that instantly made the old man stop running. He turned his head cautiously to the girl, but it seemed that Lana did not give him time to escape.
The girl returned to aiming at points around Kyuron and had herself instantly surrounded by a two-meter-high wall of water. A whirlpool seemed to form like a rope that instantly aimed at the old man's body and wrapped around it slowly.
Suddenly the end of the water rope slowly formed a sharp spearhead that was aimed right at his two eyeballs. Kyuron widened his eyes in surprise while wincing in pain as the rope continued to squeeze his body to the point of suffocation.
He glanced at the spearhead in front of him. It was not a solid object, but if it hit his face and eyes it was enough to cause injury and possibly lose his sight.
Lana smiled a triumphant grin. The girl moved closer using the water as a fulcrum while fixing her clothes that didn't even cover her stomach area. She was wearing typical punk girl shorts that wrapped around her slender legs. Likewise, the black knee-high boots made her look fashionable.
"The Aryans don't have an old explorer like you with so much experience. We respect and honor you as the oldest explorer Porta Loka has," said Lana while looking happily at Kyuron's face." But the truth is that your experience is just a bunch of bullshit. I think you were very foolish to choose this Verittam as the way to Porta Loka. Why didn't you choose the second Verittam which is the domain of the Edaf?"
The girl continued to giggle as she enjoyed the expression on the old man's face as he winced in pain. She even continued to make the water rope tighten as if to crush the old man's fragile bones.
Kyuron looked at the girl and let her enjoy her current fun and victory. The old man even grinned faintly behind the pain, as if waiting for the right time to counterattack.
"Don't get too excited just yet young lady," Kyuron said in a disjointed tone of voice. "Although you think I'm a fool, my experience is no nonsense. You should know that the ground is always the safest place to stand. Even the vast and deep ocean always rests on the ground, doesn't it?"
But the girl burst out laughing again." Hahahaha...So you're saying that you can summon the ground tens of kilometers away?"
"That's right, I even summoned it earlier so that my land could appear at the right time," Kyuron replied with a mocking smile. "You should at least learn to listen to your Uncle so as not to underestimate someone's power too much."
"Shut up! You have no right to lecture me, you old man!" Lana shouted angrily. The girl gave Kyuron a fiery stare, then she moved with her hand that made a whirlpool return to form another spearhead. Not just one, but ten spears at once were aimed straight at the old man's head.
Kyuron widened his eyes in a grimace, especially when the water rope continued to press against his body making it difficult for him to breathe. He should at least be able to hold back and maintain his energy for a while longer. Otherwise, of course, everything he prepared would be in vain.
"Look at you, what can you do? If your energy runs out, you won't even be able to summon that land of yours to the surface. And before that happens, I will already finish you off. That spear of mine may be made of water, but the energy flowing from my body can make it into a sharp object that can split your brain into pieces."
Kyuron gave the girl a disgusted look while glancing at the eleven spears surrounding his head. What he needed right now was to buy as much time as possible.
"Young lady, let me tell you one of my other plans before you kill me," Kyuron said.
The girl smiled mockingly. "Don't talk nonsense anymore old man, you're already dead."
But Kyuron didn't care. "I did have a hard time choosing this Verittam. Unlike wind-benders who can find air anywhere, or fire benders who can create fire from their body heat. I chose this place because I knew one of you was a Noa. Since Noa and Edaf have something in common, we can't be far from water and land, right?"
"Then what do you mean by that? So you chose this place on purpose to trap me like that?" snapped Lana angrily.
"You could say that. Because you should know, that blue-haired boy has ice elemental power that can freeze anything."
Lana's face looked choked up. "What do you mean Edward Kyuron? You..."
The girl was unable to finish her sentence when suddenly a gust of cold air rushed in. The sound of objects cracking could suddenly be heard echoing in the middle of the ocean. The blue atmosphere that dominated the place suddenly changed as the water's surface slowly turned into a snow-white color. The girl looked frozen at the expanse of water and also the place she stood, suddenly turning completely into a layer of ice.
No way! A sea of ice?
