Before this Megan Steele had the perfect life. She was a wealthy heiress from a prominent family. Her days were filled with family, travel, parties, and society. Expected to marry at eighteen but unable to bear the thought of leaving her perfect life she turned down one offer of marriage after another. Four years and four suitors rejected, Megan has been proposed to for a fifth time. The suitor is the son of her father's investment partner. More than that though, Megan swears there is something dark about Mr. North, something dangerous, something otherworldly. Where is the staff that keeps caring for them? Die for You

Megan got back to the house right at dinnertime. They had moved back to the North mansion over a week ago. The mansion was bigger with more space for all of them. It also had direct access to Tetra. No one had contested the move and Mim seemed very happy to be back in its own domain.

Mim met Megan at the door and its hands fluttered around her like it was checking for injuries on her. Seeing Megan's shopping bags, Mim asked her to set the bags down. There was no direct contact with Mim ever out of an abundance of caution. Even now that Megan was super powerful it was still not worth the risk.

Megan set the bags down just in time for Gabriel followed by Sam to barge out of the dining room. She sighed already knowing that there would be yelling.

"Megan, where the hell have you been?" Gabriel asked angrily as he stopped in front of her.

"Seriously, baby. Leaving on your own was incredibly dangerous." Sam chimed in.
