Chapter 13: Generation Of Monsters '1'

Battle Of Bayou....

Day 3

Kyou En's Pov:

Today is the third day of the war and Zhao seems to have taken a similar formation as yesterday.... However it seems that Zhao's Renowned General... Kou Son Ryuu has taken up to the center with another 20 thousand soldiers....

"What do you think... Yi?" I asked Yi what he thinks about the current situation wondering how he would see this.

"It should be fine.... MouBu's army is currently very strong.... And their morale isn't normal as well.... Not to mention Moubu himself.... It shouldn't be a problem... However it depends on how the other Zhao armies react." Yi said confident that these two armies wouldn't be enough to stop us and Moubu.

"Hmm... Guess we just need to wait for our General's order then...."

It wasn't long after the whole Qin army got into formation.... And of course Moubu started the first attack of the day again.

"All Troops... Charge!!!!!" Moubu shouted before charging.

"OOOHHHHH!!!!!!!" 

"Kuku... There it is .... Let's go You Bastards!!!" I said to my men before following Moubu's lead and started to charge.

Thousands of Men from our side charging at the enemy that was desperately defending while waiting for a chance to counter attack.... However Moubu's Overwhelming power deterred the Zhao from doing anything reckless..... That was of course only for the wise Zhao soldiers..... As this seemingly 1 thousand man commander from Kou Son Ryuu's army decided to instead charge to slow us down....

"Come here You Qin Apes and let me taste your blood! hahahaha" Said Large man with long spear.... However he quickly halted as his body stopped with blood spewing from his mouth...

"You Called?" I said smiling while cleaving his body in two with my glaive....

O Zhao soldiers.... Hi just stay still as us Qin soldiers slaughter and repel you! 

"Continue the Assault Men!" I yelled to my people.

This continued for a few more hours before the day slowly ended....

Day 4

Kyou En's Pov: 

We were asked to set up the same formation as yesterday.... Something which confused both me and Yi as we knew that today would be a lot different after the slaughter us Moubu army did....

"Maybe they're concealing their real tactic?" Yi said to me which made me focus more as I replied.

"... If that's true then the Zhao must be planning the same.... As they haven't changed their formations either despite being heavily Impacted by yesterday kuku..." I said while trying to think of what could be happening before noticing Moubu coming to me.

"Good Day to you General Moubu!" I said respectfully to Moubu however he dismissed it as he just glared at me and said...

"Today we will be launching an all out attack with all Qin armies being led by me to take over Zhao's headquarters and Chou Sou's Head.... don't fall behind..." Moubu stated before walking away....

"All Qin forces? That's it.... This must be a plan formed by General Ouki... Considering that Moubu will be leading all Qin armies..." Yi said getting his answers for the strange movements going on.

"However we are the ones getting invaded and are supposed to defend.... It seems the surprise General Ouki is trying to give the Zhao.... isn't going to be a normal one... But one with their defeat instead." I said while smiling as I knew the Zhao wouldn't predict this....

"It's starting..." Shuu Ki said as he saw Moubu starting to ride.

"Charge Men!" Moubu said before we also started to follow him.

Ouki's Pov:

"Nfufu... It's starting" Ouki said with a playful smile.

"Yes Sir.. you were right with the Zhao going to have the same formation this time as well... A brilliant deduction as usual my lord.." Tou said smiling as he looked at the other armies also charging in.

"The Zhao Army will be greatly disrupted and confused with this.... You won't fail right Moubu?" Ouki said with a slight smirk on his face.

It was only a short moment later that Ouki would be notified of the Zhao retreating to the Mountains behind them.

"... Tou" Ouki said with a smile.

"Yes My Lord?"

"Bring me Kyou En with his unit..." Ouki said while still smiling.

"Yes Sir" Tou said before riding his horse to get them.

Kyou En's Pov:

"You called for me General Ouki?" I said while looking at the huge man with big lips smiling at me.

Just a few moments ago... His liteunant came to me as his messenger and he asked for my whole unit to come with me as well... even when it was during an important battle... me and Yi came to the conclusion of him probably wanting us to go somewhere else....

"Nfufu... You're Here Kyou En...."Ouki said teasingly which just made me frown a bit.. although he smiled even more after seeing my reaction.

"I will skip the pleasantries... Kyou En... Not including My and Moubu's army.... You're unit is the only actual unit with proper experience and skill.... Therefore I have decided to entrust you with an important task.... That may impact the conclusion of this war.... Nfufu... It will be a dangerous task though.... Are you up to it?" Ouki said smiling.

"Of course.... I can assure you that my unit won't disappoint you... General Ouki." I said while wondering what he wants us to do...

"Nfufu.... I hope you don't take back those words Kyou En.... As you can see... The Zhao armies have made a drastic move and have decided to retreat to the mountains behind them.... I have a bad feeling about this...

 Therefore I want you and your unit to act as a separate unit from our army and go deep into the mountains.... As for whatever decision you make regarding scouting or raiding..... I'll leave that up to you to judge the situation with your own eyes." Ouki said a bit more seriously while still smiling.

"..You decided to choose us since our Unit is large enough to be able to act on our own... Yet not too big as an army that will have enemies be cautious of us... The enemy also won't be trying to look for us as much as they do to You, Moubu and the other commanders.... Our unit is also skilled enough to be able to make decisions decisively... Which will be important since you want us to go deep into the mountains in enemy territory... Am I right?"

"Nfufu... What a bore... You wasted the explanation I prepared to entertain you with beforehand.... Right Tou?" Ouki said while chuckling.

"Yes... A boring man indeed" Tou said while smiling.

"Nfufu... However you are right Kyou En.... The faster you act... The better it'll be since even the Zhao won't have much information about the Mountains since they didn't have enough time and manpower to check it yet..

 However the longer we take... The bigger our disadvantage will be..." Ouki said.

"...Then I will take my leave... I will show you the power of my unit... General Ouki..."

"Nfufu..."

Kyou En's Pov:

I got my unit to enter the mountains after telling them all about the orders General Ouki gave me... I had our formation set up that Shi En would be Infront of us scouting with 500 his cavalry with the rest of his troops scouting around the sides... Me and Ga Rin were both in the center with our personal elites there while Shuu Ki and Ryuu Yen are in the back with the majority of the troops so they can cover us incase we get attacked or protect themselves if they get flanked.

It's been a bit since both the Qin and Zhao have entered the mountains and it has started to get a bit dark...and I'm confident that both armies are focusing on finding locations to set their camp while looking for their respective states other armies that they can't find due to being in the mountains. On the other hand.... Our unit is just going deeper into the mountains without even setting up camp....

"Boss! Are you sure we should continue this instead of setting up camp while we have the chance before it gets even darker?" Said a tried soldier that was taking heavy breaths.

"... We're too deep into enemy territory right now... The enemy will quickly find us if we set up camp here... Not to mention that this location isn't good enough... Rather than that... We should go even deeper... Behind the enemy lines and avoid Zhao's observation.... We can see set up camp somewhere there...it may be a reckless plan.... But it's one we can only do now since even the Zhao wouldn't think of the Qin doing something stupid like this hehe" I said before lightly chuckling at the fact we're stupid.

"Yi... Set up as many scouts as you can to find the locations of both enemies and allies... Don't try finding our allies too much though since they would probably be on the other side and we don't want to attract any attention..." I said as I looked at Yi.

"I've already sent them out brother... I'm just worried why the enemy retreated here so quickly...." Yi said as he looked at a board with pieces indicating his and the locations of other armies he knew were ...

At the same time I was talking with Yi... I saw a scout that appears to be from my unit rushing to us with sweat on his face... Which made me smile.

"Hmm.. General Ouki also felt the same... However Yi....did you know... That there is a way to make enemy tactics useless?" I said as I started to look at the board.

"Make enemy tactics useless... How?" Yi was shocked and confused... However I just smirked and had my glaive rest on my shoulders....

"It is easy to render tactics useless.... You just need to defeat the Enemy before they have the chance to do something..." I smirked in a way that scared my unit but also made them excited.

"Report!!! Zhao's General ...Shou Mou's camp has been spotted... It is quite a bit of distance from here and it seems they are setting up their camp now!" The scout that was rushing here said... I just continued smirking and said..

"It seems Shou Mou will be the one we eliminate first..." I said which shocked my unit... However I just continued giving my orders...

"Yi... You will go a bit deeper with Shuu Ki..

 And set up camp.. make sure you have defences set up properly in case we retreat here... Ga Rin, Shi En... Ryuu Yen will follow me and we shall strike Shou Mou when it gets a bit darker..

"Well then Gentlemen.... Let's get the party started!" I shouted while smiling.

Ill prob make more chapters instead of trying to finish em in a few chapters... 🙏 I promise this war finishes next chapter.
