Chapter 10, Preparing for the Big Wedding_1

As the first rays of morning sun hit the earth, Hudson, who was up early, started his daily work ahead of time.

"Nelson, I want you to secretly contact the priests in our territory. They need to support our upcoming territorial reforms. I don't want any trouble."

Nelson was startled by this brief statement, anxiously asking, "Hudson, please tell me you're not planning a religious reform?"

"Religious reform", a buzzword that started circulating in the Continent of Aslante after the decline of the Church's power.

Only those bold and well-known hegemonic monarchs dared to initiate religious reforms. Any average noble who jumped in was most likely not to survive three more chapters.

The most active reformers of the current continental religious system are Charles III and Caesar III; the former wanted to bring down the Church, while the latter threatened its very existence.
