In the center of New York the Songbird Plaza is bustling.Many important person of fame and status are coming in their customised or branded cars.They are not only the decision makers of New York,But their hands reaches majority of United States.They can make or break the government.So,the question comes,"what are they doing here?"

In fact it is nothing to be shocked of as today is Lilith Crawford's birthday.She is the only daughter of Nicholas Crawford who is also known as 'El Mochomo'.And he is also one of the strongest wolf present.He is now a loner who lives separately from his pack with only his daughter.There is one time when his name is very popular in the mouth of various mob leaders.

Though Nicholas has retired from the underworld when her wife passed away in a tragic car accident to keep his daughter safe.So,whoever is lucky to have Lilith's hand,it can be said that he will have a great amount of power,money and prestige.

When the guests are arriving one by one Lilith is getting ready in the dressing room.Viola who is her aunt Nevine 's daughter is helping in make up.Though the whole New York is eager to get the hand of Lilith she is stuck in a never ending loop of self-doubt and hopelessness.

Noticing Lilith's distress Viola asked,"What's the matter Lily.Aren't you happy to finally get married.Though you haven't found your soulmate the bond can be build slowly after getting married."

"You wouldn't understand.Marriage is never my intention.I just don't understand why my father is suddenly asking me to get married.",Lilith tries to answer in calm voice through sheer effort.

Lilith knew her father well.He loves her And wanted to protect her with all his heart after her mother passed away.That's why he wants a powerful son-in-law who can protect her.

"I have heard my father talking to mother previous night that in the 'foundation' meeting the Bandello head asked uncle Nicholas for hand in marriage.Though uncle has turned away he has to show a effort to get you married.",Viola whispered.

Lilith was shocked after hearing it.Though it isn't any sudden move by Bandello family.The head of the Bandello family Joseph Bandello was once a capo of her father.But after his father retired he has taken control of the underworld and now is head of the table.And his eldest son Tony is obsessed with Lilith.Despite playing with him during childhood Lilith never loves him.When Tony is little he is a good gentle guy.But now when he hovers near Lilith,she feels as though insects are crawling underneath her skin.Now after hearing Viola she began to dread the party even more.Because Tony will surely be there.

"Don't think about it Lily.Tony isn't head yet he can't force you."Viola sympathizes with her sister.

"are you ready?The guests are waiting.",After entering the room her aunt Nevine said to Lilith.Her aunt is wearing a black and white polka dress.Though she is over 40 nobody can tell as werewolf age differently than human.

"Yes, aunty I am ready.But where is father?",asked Lilith in a polite manner.Her father and aunt's relationship is strained due to death of her mother.She believed that her father didn't treasure her mother well.Besides aunt's husband Mills Langdon is also a member of the 'Table'.

"Your father is downstairs talking to the guests.Hurry up."her aunt takes her hand and guides her to the celebration room.

Lilith can only hope that today the night pass without any bad incidents.But only time will tell how much her prayer has been granted...
