A Second Chance

(Ant POV)

That was it . . . I died; I mean it's not like I did anything with my life, I never felt complete in my boring life, it was getting up, working and then going home rinse and repeat every single day. I always hoped I could get a second chance. My name is Ant Lewis, and I basically had no life in my time living, in my free time I imagined myself in different worlds just as an escape from my depressing life but now it's come to an end . . . and to think I died trying to save a kid, at least my death was worth something.

(3rd Person POV)

"Welcome lost soul." A mysterious voice bellowed.

'W- What who was that.' Ant thought.

"Open your eyes boy." The voice beckoned.

As I opened my eyes and looked around, I saw some kind of desert with an old man who seemed to be the one talking.

"So, you died normally I would guide souls here to show them their life, but you died unfulfilled so there's not much to look at." The old man chuckled.

"Now then let's discuss what you want to take with you in the afterlife you get to wish for anything your heart desires." The old man questioned.

"Anything . . . I- I know what I want, a second chance."

"Hmm interesting a second chance you say, why's that."

"You said it yourself I died unfulfilled, and I hated how I lived my life, so I want a second chance to feel complete, to make something of myself." Ant begged.

"Surprising, normally people would wish for riches or power to take with them into the afterlife, but you wanted a second chance . . . then I shall grant it, you shall be reborn on earth with all your memories, so you don't make the same mistakes."

"N- No not earth, somewhere else, a fantasy world . . . maybe TBATE and I want to have some abilities that I will have when I'm reborn."

"You are asking for a lot . . . but I can do that for you, what abilities would you like."

"Hmm I would like Sung Jin Woo's Levelling System and an ability that allows me to learn quick, so I can learn new magic types easier."

"Fine I will grant your wish you will also get a special magic type which you will find out in your time at the world you will also get an item that will boost your magic, your Levelling System will awaken at the age of 4." The old man explained

"Now then goodbye Ant." The old man finished.

"Thank you for my second chance. Ant nodded.

(Ant POV)

I was launched through what felt like a wormhole as my vision darkened and I slowly opened my eyes as my vision bettered, seeing myself in a town, it worked this was it, my second chance . . . my chance to fulfil myself. Until in front of me a woman appeared.

"Oh, another child well we shall take you in, do you have a name . . . hmm it says it on here Kaisel huh strange name."

"Well then let's get you fed Kaisel."

So, I'm an orphan and my names Kaisel well then, I'll begin to train as soon as I'm old enough, but my first priority needs to be finding Arthur.
