Later that night, the somber group settled down in a highway inn in the middle of nowhere.
It was definitely an old inn that looked like it was a hundred years old, very creepy, but they didn't have much of a choice.
This time, not only Hugo and Khalifa dealt with the zombies, but the others did as well.
"We don't take parasites." Was all she said, and they were reminded of what happened to Kara.
Gathering all the courage they hadn't used in the first half of their lives, they lifted up their weapons—different shapes taken from the house they've been to—and began cleaning up the zombies.
Fortunately, they did manage to handle it well except for Mrs. Adams who had been staring at the fight blankly like she always had. Khalifa sighed and pulled her closer to her, protecting her from harm.
Fortunately, the number of zombies weren't too overwhelming and she didn't have to use her supernatural powers at all.
