A Surprise For Our Family...

Chapter 42

After dinner, everyone retired to their rooms. Lauren had been waiting all day for this moment. She washed and dressed up, ready to gather her family. Gerald and the kids were the first to show up. It was natural for them.

"I have a surprise for our family."

"Really? Hmm. Did Gaia teach you to hide your thoughts from me?"

"No. She shielded this so it could be a surprise."

"Clever grandmother. I'm okay with that."

"Cartrell, come through the door in your chamber."

"Okay, but I am not done here yet."

"Antonus, Carlton there's a door in your closet. Come through it.

She brought Tom in already.

They all opened the doors about the same time and looked straight at Lauren. "What did you do?"

"Come on in?" They came into the room and sat down. She leaned over and kissed Tom and he woke up. His eyes looked normal and he looked clear-headed.

"The twins gave me the idea for this when they made space so they could have a bit of the dragon realm here in the keep. I expanded on that and made us a realm that only we can come into. This is our home. I had a dream where we would go do our jobs during the day and we would come home and be together every night. This is the result of that dream. Shirley and the sprites will help with the children so that if we want to be together without the children so we can be intimate together, we can and they will be safe. I'm trying to grow and change. I love how it feels to be with all of you and I am ready to be happy with all of you. I don't say "I love you" easily. I have only told Gerald because our experience was different. Please, just be patient with me."

"This is beautiful. For you to open your keep and make a space where we can be together as a family shows that you are opening up to all of us. We are here for you." Cartrell said. And he gave her a kiss.

"You publicly acknowledged us as your men. That is a step I didn't think you were ready for, so, yeah. Today has been a great day." Carlton said and kissed her on the cheek. She stopped him from moving away and kissed him on his lips.

"I feel like I am in more of a family than I ever have. This is a wonderful surprise." Antonus said and he let her kiss him.

"I almost ruined everything today," Tom said. "I don't know why I am here."

"Because I chose to add you to my men. You gave me an out of just being friends even though you want so much more. You deserve more. You are one of my men and I am going to open my heart to you the same way I will open it to everyone here." She sat in his lap and gave him a deep kiss. The guys gathered around and hugged him so that Tom could feel the connective love that was in the room.

"Thanks guys," Tom said.

"Now, you don't have to come in here through your rooms unless that is what you want. Your door is attached to the key I'm giving you. Only you can use it and only you can get into our home. You can't bring anyone into this space. The throne room is how you come in here if you all just live here. You will give up the dorm room you were given and this will be your home. Gerald has already been doing this. Going out during the day and being here at night. That's what I want."

They looked at each other and said, "Your wish is our command."

They hung out and laughed the rest of the night. The dragons had already found their room and were asleep soaking up the magic they needed to grow. The sprites' room was next to the children's wing so they could help them.

She showed them the communal bed in another room. "This room and bed are huge!" Cartrell pointed out.

There were beds off to the sides as well. It was a cool room. There were also refrigerators, televisions, and a huge communal bath with a hot tub. "It's great to have everything that we need at your fingertips," Antonus observed.

Lauren went into the bathing room and took a shower. She came back out in her gown and lay down on the big bed. The guys went next and they came back and stretched out on the bed. Tom got to lay next to Lauren who was on the center bed. The other guys came up and sat on the bed.

"Tom, you are in need of training," Gerald said flatly. "You have so much magic in you that you are off balance. I want to help you. Because I am a dragon, I am able to decipher the magic and uses of your magic. Carlton and Antonus probably will be able to as well once they learn your wavelength and bond more with Lauren. I know you are feeling weird and unsafe around Lauren, so, If I train you it will help you feel safer and know you are more loved. What do you think?"

Tom looked up at Gerald and smiled, "Yes. That would be wonderful. I would be able to really be Lauren's bodyguard without having to worry that she needs guarding from me. Thanks Gerald."

"Of course."

Each guy gave Lauren a hug and kiss, took one the side bed surrounding Lauren and they fell asleep.

Lauren felt all of their hands moving on her. She relaxed and opened up to them. She allowed them to explore her body and gave in to the sensations she was feeling and she experienced a small release. Tom growled beside her and he rolled on top of Lauren. She grabbed his length and stroked him and he jerked in her hand. She guided him to her opening and he let her put him inside her. He thrust deeply into her and held still. He waited for her to open her eyes. She did and she saw the fire in them. "I am Rha. Resheph is my father. I swear my loyalty, love, and life to you. Take my power. Be my control. My soul belongs to you." When he finished his words a sudden strong rush of power and pleasure shot through Lauren and into the other men in the room. Lauren felt like she was being set on fire and the power kept flowing and flooding her. He finally moved and the movement created a different flow of power and pleasure that she couldn't control.

"Let go, Lauren. Let go of the control. We are here to protect you. Let go." Antonus said. And she did. She allowed the power to be free in her body. It was a glorious high. She felt like she was flying through fire. Tom released her and laid beside her, finally empty of power for the first time in his life.

Lauren was asleep again and he watched her sleep. "Welcome to the family completely, Tom." Gerald said.

"Yeah. Be careful what you think because we can hear it, that is until Gerald teaches you to control it. Lauren can't hear us right now because Gerald is controlling the narrative in her mind as it comes to our voices in her mind. We don't want to make her crazy. She is still learning how to control it."

"I get it. So I need to learn how to put up walls but also be open to her and you guys."

"Yes. Tom, I also need you to come to the dragon realm over the next few months so I can train you." Gerald said. "I know how to use your powers and how to develop and control them. I can help you with all that is stressing you. Let me be your big brother."

"So you are Rha." Carlton said.

"Yes. But not Ra the sun god. I'm like his great-great grandson."

"More like four generations apart. Resheph is Ra's grandson and you are his great-grandson. You have more of his powers than your donor did." Gerald said.

"I see you do understand me. You didn't call him my father."

"Let's get some sleep and we can start working on your control and everything else tomorrow. Antonus, I guess you will have to act as assistant and bodyguard for Lauren for a while." Gerald declared. "Don't leave her alone. She is carrying my son."

"I will protect her and be her companion. You know she is never alone. She has the sprites." Antonus reminded him.

"I know but they don't protect her. She protects them. They will take care of her. You protect her."

With that, they all went to sleep.
