Eps 8 - Celebrating Success

At a restaurant where Siska had already booked to celebrate the success of the members' first mission.

It was so lively that they celebrated full of laughter but it was seen that only Tia didn't seem to enjoy it much unlike at the beginning she was very enthusiastic about celebrating this success, not only Siska was aware of it but Jenny was also aware of it it's just that she really wouldn't seem to notice it because the expression on his face is always flat and cold.

"Hey Tia, did you enjoy our party hehe", Siska asked Tia trying to make her enjoy the party more than hiding the things she was contemplating.

"Ohh yes, commander of course, yeayy haha", replied Tia but still couldn't lie to a Siska.

"Oh, so let's continue drinking and finish the food as well so we don't miss tonight in vain," Siska said excitedly until she embraced Rizki.

"Hey, this commander seems too much," said Rizki because he was too stiff and uncomfortable with his commander.

"Haha we're not on duty Rizki so enjoy this excitement hahaha", answered Siska while continuing to laugh.

"Haha, you're nervous, friend, hahaha, the cemen is annoyed," continued Tia, laughing at Rizki with her funny expression.

"He's quite adept at hiding his sadness but my eyes can't be fooled, apparently sad because of a man's figure, hmm basic", muttered Jenny subconsciously activating her eye ability because she felt the commander and the others didn't realize it.

It wasn't until Jenny saw Tia that she was surprised to see the man in Tia's mind flashing a small light in her eyes that made Jenny accidentally knock her glass and it fell.

A little explanation for Jenny's ability where she is the remnant of a child from a legendary tribe who has the ability to her eyes and when she activates her eye ability, she can read the opponent's movements and is able to read the opponent's mind but does not apply to minds that can be controlled by the target because that ability only able to see the thoughts of people who are panicked, sad, and angry.

"You have to be careful, Jenny. Enjoy this party, please," said Siska with a mysterious smile.

"Your water spilled, Jenny, let me order again," Doni said, then got up from his seat to the cashier.

"Ahh, yes, thank you, I also want to order more snacks", Jenny replied and got up from her seat to follow Doni.

"Have you been watching Tia all this time, Jenny?" Doni asked quietly.

"Ah no, I was just daydreaming," said Jenny

"I'll order another warm orange and one black coffee," Doni ordered the cashier.

"Yes, you are waiting for me," replied the cashier.

"Ka one grilled steak with teriyaki sauce huh", ordered Jenny.

"Anything else?" asked the cashier.

"That's it," said Jenny.

"Wow, your order is quite elegant, Jenny," Doni said slowly.

"Did you realize that Tia didn't seem to be enjoying this party?" Doni asked as he sat waiting for his order to be made.

"I didn't know that, everyone has their own problems and anxieties," Jenny replied pretending not to notice.

"Haha even though you are so cold and bitchy you are sometimes very kind to him, and the way you talk to the team is also very cruel sometimes but I think that is the right thing so it's okay", said Doni in response to Jenny's answer.

"I don't like other people's praise, I behave and act according to the circumstances that require me to do so," said Jenny coldly.

"Yeah, yeah," said Doni.

"This is warm black and orange coffee and hot steak with teriyaki sauce, right?" the cashier said to the two of them because their orders had already been made.

"Okay, thank you, sis, here's the money," said Doni.

"Okay, you're still coming back. . . . .", before he could finish his words, Doni immediately said, "Just take it back, consider it as a tip from me."

"Wow, thank you ka, enjoy the dishes from our place," said the cashier.

"Too good to other people only raises expectations for others that we cannot realize and results in a form of disappointment," said Jenny, seeing Doni's kindness.

"Haha, you are very critical, ys Jenny," said Doni.

"That's reality," Jenny replied.

"All expectations do not fully produce disappointment, it's just how we produce a form of hope that becomes a cause, we don't make it to produce an effect," added Doni.

After they all resumed eating and drinking, Tia suddenly said goodbye.

"Commander, I'm sorry for permission to go home because my mother has sent a message."

"Wow, damn if you've said my mother, I can't argue with that, okay, see you tomorrow, OK, Tia, be careful on the road," answered Siska.

"Sorry everyone, I said goodbye first," said Tia to the members.

"Well be careful Tia," said Doni.

Not long after Tia left the dining area, Jenny also said goodbye to Siska.
