New Beginnings

Introduction

Kazuma High School, this school is known throughout the country as one of the most outstanding schools and its reputation is as prestigious as ever. The school has a miraculous way of nurturing young students with rare abilities and helping them to discover how to apply those abilities in various situations.

The school has a council called The Council Of Colors and this council runs the school. The authority of this Council is said to be on par with the student Council, some even say their authority overpowers them even.

The Council Of Colors consists of three(3) exceptional students with colors representing their abilities and seat.

In the red seat, we have Zayn Conard, a third year student with the ability called Weak Range. This ability allows him to identify the weaknesses of his opponents. By closing his eyes he gets a black and white x-ray like scan of his opponents with a red beam of light indicating their weakness.

In the purple seat, we have Nathan Vangaurd, a second year student with the Ability called Ten Fold. This ability allows him to copy the ability and strength of his opponents and triple that ability and strength. By summoning a purple mist around his body he activates this abilities.

And finally in the blue seat, we have Leo Cornell, a second year student with the ability called Cheetah's Fang. This ability allows the him to be very agile and run as fast as 25 miles per hours.

With all this, you might ask why are there only three members? The Council Of Colors can still recruit members but for that to happen, the students must prove themselves worthy.

CHAPTER 1

New Beginnings

It is the first day of the academic year in Kazuma High School and at the entrance of the school is Ken Larson mostly referred to as "Ken". As Ken stands at the gate, he stares at the crowd of students that are rushing through the gates. Suddenly he sees a familiar face which turns out to be Ethan Taylor, an old friend from his middle school.

He calls out "Ethan! Ethan!, over here!", Ethan turns around and spots him and walks towards Ken with a smirk on his face.

"Hey Ken, been a while hasn't it?" Said Ethan.

"Yeah, it has been a while" said Ken.

"Hopefully we would be able to blend in well in this school" said Ethan.

"Sure do hope so too" said Ken with a bright smile.

[The bell rings] A member of the student council comes out from the main building and shouts out " Welcome, First Years !! Let's all go to the auditorium for the orientation.

[With haste, all the students proceeded towards the auditorium.] [In the auditorium]

The president of the student council walks on stage and he starts to speak, "First Years! We are very pleased to welcome you to our prestigious school. I am the president of the student council, Connor Brooks. I am very sure that you all will be pleased with our school and its facilities. From here, all students can go to the school's bulletin boards to help identify their assigned classes. Thank you all and you are dismissed."

[After that, all the students left the auditorium]

Ken views the bulletin board and notices that he is in class1-B. Then Ethan approaches him.

"Yo Ken, it seems we are in the same class, just like in middle school." Said Ethan.

"I guess so, Ethan." said Ken.

[The Bell rings] "Ken, let's head off to class now before we are incredibly late." said Ethan.

"Yeah! you are right, let's go" said Ken.

With that, Ken and Ethan head off to class.

After some few hours, it was time for gym class. The students of class 1-B went to the locker rooms to change. As they all exit the locker rooms, everybody starts to stare at Ken. They all noticed that he had a well built athletic body. The gym teacher shouted out, " Alright everybody, today we are going to do some light warm ups and a 100metre race."

With that, they all began their warm up exercises. It was now time for the races to begin. With five(5) set of students, the students started to line up on the track in batches. Ken was in the last batch but Ethan was in the second batch.

After the coach blows the whistle, the first batch takes off, then just before it is time for Ethan's batch to take off, he looks back at Ken with a cheeky smirk. The whistle blows and the second batch takes off and surprisingly Ethan finishes in first place. At that moment, Ken felt like Ethan had just challenged him and that really motivated him.

After two(2) more batches, it was finally the last batch's turn and as they all lined up, Ken had a certain glare in his eyes. With everyone in position, the whistle was about to go off but suddenly, a black colored mist outlined Ken's body frame. Ethan noticed this and was puzzled with what was happening. The whistle goes off and the students began to run. Within a flash, Ken dashed his way over to the finish line leaving a trail of black mist behind.

In shock, everybody looked at Ken with a confused but surprised face.

"What just happened?.....Hey kid, have you ever thought of joining the track team?" said the gym teacher.

At that moment Ethan said to himself, " It was as if he was a different person in that very moment, I knew Ken ability was unknown but this is something else." After that it was time to head back to class. It was now time for school to close and Ethan walks up to Ken and asks him, "Could we walk home together?" and he agreed. As they were exiting the school, Ken noticed a group of girls talking at the entrance of the building.

Girl 1: [ did u guys hear that Angela from class 1-D submitted her application letter to the Council Of Colors.]

Girl 2: [really?]

Girl 3: [Do you guys think she will get in?]

Girls 4: [ No way.]

With great interest, Ken interrupt s the group and asks them a question.

"Excuse me…..but what is the Council Of Colors?" said Ken.

"you don't really know?" said girl 2.

"I guess he is a first year so am not surprised." said girl 1, and at that moment the group disclosed the history of the Council Of Colors to Ethan and Ken. As Ethan looks at Ken's face at that moment, he was smiling and Ethan asked why are you smiling. "That's because I actually thought this school was going to be boring but it seems to be interesting after all." Said Ken.

They proceed to the gate and as they were passing, they passed by Zayn Conard (The red seat in the Council Of colors)and in that split second, both Zayn and Ken had an unexpected reaction. In Ken's case, he felt a shiver that ran down to his spine and that made him to wonder who Zayn was. He could feel the immense power that Zayn had.

In Zayn's case, his body reacted to Ken's ability as if in that moment he knew that Ken's ability isn't normal like the rest of the students and he had an enormous potential for growth.

With that, Ken and Ethan exited the school. Zayn immediately rushed over to the student council office to go through the first year student files. After going through class 1-A's file he did not find Ken's file but then he opened class 1-B's file and there he found Ken's file. With a malicious smile, he said, " First year, Ken Larson, welcome to Kazuma

High."
