“Stay here.” Andrew snapped his head to Blake and Cole. “The princess and I need a moment.”
“They shall escort me–”
“No, they shall not,” he interrupted me seriously.
The prince looked at me and the glare was stern and unmoving. I looked back to Blake and Cole. “Please, see after my family,” I asked.
I looked back at the prince who nodded to them. “Your entire cadre will be my guests in the east wing. I will return her to you after we talk.”
There seemed to be very little that Blake or Cole could do unless they were to actually fight the prince. I nodded my acceptance of his terms and they both stood down.
The guards escorted them in one direction and Andrew hurried me in another.
We seemed to walk for quite some time before we came to a pair of massive doors which were opened, and immediately I felt as if I were falling through time.
“My… my mother’s room…” I gasped, and he finally let me go.
