The Prince

It was the year 1924. 

The Great German Empire is fighting two great nations in two warfronts. One is the western warfront which is based on the river Rhine, the other is the northern warfront which is in Norden City. The enemies for these wars are the Francois Republic, and the large Legadonia Entente Alliance. The reason for war is the abundant industry and lands of the Great Empire. The Empire is the strongest country in Europe in terms of military and finance, and is home to a great majority of people. The economy of the Empire, even during wars, is still booming which was different from other countries. These are the reasons on why other countries like a piece of the Empire.

The Legadonia Entente Alliance is one of the major powers in the current world. Although their economy and standing in the world is dwindling, they still boast a great army and a great sense of nationalism. The Legadonia Entente Alliance invaded the Great Empire's Northern Territory. This territory is also known as the Nordern territory which was cut in half by a demilitarized zone and a common border between the two nations. However on June 17, 1923, the alliance crossed the border in order to invade. Numerous Entente forces were crossing the border one-by-one. It was to be a show of force and sort of a taunt against the empire, but will the empire just let this go? No. The empire then send some heavenly artillery bombs against the invading forces which made the Alliance go into chaos. 

Another major power, the Ottoman Sultanate, wants to join in with the fun against the Empire. The Sultanate is composed of Arabic speaking countries south of the Empire, although they do not have direct access to Imperial lands because the countries, Hellenic Republic, and the Grand Duchy of Dacia are bordering them, they still lust over the cold and lush grasses of the empire. So they initiate an offensive against the weaker Hellenic Republic, in order to have a warfront against the empire. 

The Francois Republic is another major power of this time. It mostly controls almost half of the western Europe world. The major power's strategy when it comes to war is to hit the empire's interior lines because the external lines will not work without the interior lines. During the previous year, the Republic also used the chance to invade the western region of the empire when the Great Empire moved almost all of its Great Army to the north, against the Legadonia Entente Alliance. The republic invaded the western region of the empire since this region is a highly industrialized region which situated most of the empire's war industries.

The Republic continued their advance until they encountered a 'big' wall, well.... sort of... anyways, they encountered a girl no less than 12 years old, This girl destroyed most of the French frontline and decimated their mage corps. After the girl's stint in Rhine, she was nicknamed by the republic as the "Devil of Rhine". Well, she may be the devil to the empire's enemies, but to the empire, she is an angel nicknamed "White Silver". 

A person who admires the angel was now sleeping in a room inside the large castle in Central Berun, the capital of the Empire. After days of sickness, shakings, convulsions, which made the doctor attending to almost gave up, the body sleeping peacefully without a care in the world has a new owner. The previous owner of the body was now gone, however, there are still remnants, which is the previous owner's memories. 

As the sunlight shine through the crease of the window curtains, the child now opened his eyes. He was wondering where the hell he is when suddenly he remembered the talk with the goddess. He thanked the goddess for this opportunity and promises her that he will pray for a bit of time every morning. He put his hands together in a praying position and uttered,

"Thank you goddess for the gift of life. I will cherish every moment here."

A nearby bird from outside his window heard this and tweeted. Although it was a bit too loud to be a small bird, he didn't paid it heed.

He was then startled when his door opened and a beautiful blond maid entered his room. The blond maid was wearing a standard Victorian maid dress and has eyes that were akin to the sea. The maid stands tall and looking at it, the way she walk, stand, and even the way she put her hands in a v-position in front of her is way too professional. She was a bit surprised to see the child awake and was going to inform the child's family, when he noticed how dark the room is. She then strode to the floor-to-ceiling window curtains in order to let sunlight through. The child's eyes followed her every move and the atmosphere was a bit awkward. Take note that the child has nothing to say to her since he didn't 'know' any German. 

When the maid opened the window curtain, the child can now see the interior of his room. He can see that his room is so large that even a single family can live in it. He estimated that it is 30 square meters in total. He can see the bathroom door in the farthest side of the room. He can also see a desk and a mini library with book shelves as tall as the ceiling to his right side, which is also the side where the windows are. Also in his right side is a small table with two small chairs. To his left, he can observe numerous closets which has his clothes on, and a door in the middle of the left side of his room. 

Looking at the curious eyes of the child, the maid then gathered her confidence and asked the child on how his sleep was.

"Hoheit, wie war Ihr Schlaf? Ich sehe, dass Ihr Hemd ein bisschen klebrig ist, also muss es ein schlechter Traum gewesen sein?"

("Your Highness, how was your sleep? I see that your shirt is a bit sticky, so it must have been a bad dream?")

The child was panicking internally, he didn't know how to speak any Germanic language properly. The only language he knew is his mother language which is Filipino and his excellent English language. Although he also know a little bit Japanese language since he is a connoisseur of animes, his knowledge of the German language is almost like a 3 year old. He was about to speak in English when suddenly words came out of his mouth naturally.

"Nein, Magd Mia, es war tatsächlich ein guter Traum."

("No, maid Mia, it was a good dream actually.")

The child was flabbergasted. He was thinking of how has he spoken a new language that is very foreign from him when his head ached hard. This is the legendary headache, also called as the memory recalling headache. This legendary headache is a way for transmigrated protagonists to get the previous owner's memories. It was painful since the info was dumped straight into his head, imagine being thrown a heavy boulder without dying or blood.

Seeing the child clutching his head in pain, the maid panicked but immediately went to get the child's parents and a doctor. 

"Moment, Hoheit! Ich werde Ihre Eltern holen!"

("Hold on, your highness! I will get your parents!")

The maid rushed outside in order to call the child's parents. In the room, the child was still clutching his head when suddenly he felt relieved. Looking at his right, he can see a Golden Eagle, the imperial animal, in his shoulder clutching a golden apple in one of its claws. He can see that the golden apple has a small hole on the side, from which the apple juices flows from it and straight to his head. He was thankful to the Golden Eagle for its help when suddenly he saw his window shattered into pieces.

Well, the eagle still helped the child. 

The child, now have the memories of the previous owner of the body, quickly sorts out his situation.

So I am an imperial prince eyyy, not bad, not bad. Also, this is the Youjo Senki world, hehehehe. To think I was also named Felix in this world. To the previous Felix, don't worry about your family and the Empire, I will take care of them. I wish that you will be given a new life by the goddess. Wait.... I asked the goddess to a life that I can live freely right? Maybe she failed in convincing fate....

Felix thought about it for more moments and came to the conclusion that being an imperial prince is not a bad thing to have though. Since being a prince has its own power. Sometimes, power is also equated to freedom... The stronger you are, the more freedom you have. However, those with great power comes also great responsibilities. Think about it, Ironman is one of the richest person in the MCU. Yes, he was selfish, yet he was free to do anything. Although he was being pressured by the government, he didn't give in knowing how powerful he is. However, his responsibility towards humanity shines during the Thanos fight. He snapped his finger despite how selfish he is. It was his responsibility in the 14,000,605 futures to snap his fingers.

He was also delighted to know that the world he is in now is the Youjo Senki world since this was the manga that he admired the most. He also loved the psycho-ness of the protagonist, Tanya.

A few moments after, the maid came in together with 5 people. One old person who wears a doctor's coat with a head full of white hair. Two adolescents who is wearing simple but royal clothes, one was a handsome male with black hair and crimson red eyes, another is a blond female with blue eyes, both are presumably his father and mother. One teenager who was a carbon copy of the mother despite being male, presumably his older brother. Another is a little girl who has blond hair and crimson eyes, presumably his little sister. They were a bit startled and scared by the Golden Eagle on his shoulder, so Felix told the eagle to go towards the tree just outside of his window. Once the eagle left the room, the group approached him.

"Wie geht es dir, mein Sohn? Wir haben uns große Sorgen um dich gemacht."

("How are you my son? We were worried sick for you.")

"I am fine my mother."

"That's good. That's good... Here is Doctor Wilhelm he will take a look for you."

The old doctor approached Felix and sat beside him in his bedside. He took a stethoscope and a thermometer filled with mercury, and asked Felix for permission.

"Your highness, may I?"

"Please."

The old doctor checked the vital of the child and was relieved to see that the child was fine. The doctor and the maid then left the room in order to give the family more time amongst themselves . The family of Felix then came and hugged him deeply starting with the little sister. 

"*Sniff* *Sniff* Big bro Felix, I thought you will be dead *Sniff*"

"Come on, your big bro is a strong person."

Felix flexed his non-existent muscles, this made the girl smile and his family smiled also. The father, although stern looking, his eyes were still filled with worry over the days of sickness his son has gotten through.

"Are you really fine my son?.." 

"Yes, I am fine dad."

Felix smiled with his teeth, which made the room shine immaculately. The mother then hugged Felix and kissed him in the forehead. The family then talked a little bit more before leaving Felix's room to give him time to recover. Before living though, he asked his mother for forgiveness for his window which was quickly forgiven. He also asked a mirror in order to see his features. 

When his family left, he was thankful to the goddess to see that his family is a doting one, as much as how doting his previous parents are. He swears to the goddess to protect them and to make the Empire great again! (lol). 

Felix looked at the mirror and saw his features. Although he was a bit skinny, one can see through the child-like features a handsome appearance. His black hair is like a raven's plumage, messy yet delicate. His crimson eyes shines like a vampire who was thirsty in face of virgin maiden. His complexion is a bit pale since he was sick, but regardless is still like the sands of Boracay. He appreciates how handsome he was and inwardly complementing it. He didn't let go of the mirror for a good hour, yes, he was a bit narcissistic. 

Will Tanya like my handsome and majestic self?

He knew Tanya will most likely kick him in the shin, if she didn't know his status, if she heard such words.

Felix monologued for a bit then walked towards the small library in his room to grab some books to read. He struggled for a bit but soon found his stride.

The eagle then flew back to him and latched into his head, albeit softly. 

He grabbed a book to know more about the world's geopolitical situation. The book he grabbed was named "Geopolitik der Welt". He then sit upon the office chair and uttered to the eagle atop his head.

"Looks like we will be studying a bit lot eyy."

The eagle screeched seemingly agreeing and both of the human and eagle duo sighed.
