Edessak exhaled sharply and then asked "Where is this girl Zaubereni now?", Adrian answered on beat "Sir we're holding on to her, she in the interrogation chamber, but she refuses to answer even the most basic question" " I even tried to 'bribe' her, but she didn't answer" added Gunther from side. Edessak thought for while taking out a gray scaled ring from the drawer, he wore it and then said "Take me to her, I think she'll be answering me".

I sat at there alone in this cold and dry room waiting for the next interrogator to come in and again ask me those idiotic question and fail. I had already answered them, I was guilty, I always was, guilty of being born poor, of being a woman, being a sinner. I stole and mugged a lot of people maybe what had happened was the worlds payback to me show me how dirty I was. As I thought about all the things I done last night, all those girls I had killed, were me. Weak and pitiful and poor, they had no other option than to sell themselves. As I kept thinking over and over about what I had done. The doors opened, as I thought one of the gold masked interrogators had returned and maybe they will finally be killing me now. But the man wasn't wearing a gold mask, an aristocrat? why is an aristocrat here? he looked at me not with suspicion or scorn which was the usual look I got, understandably so. But his gaze was different, he looked at me like a human being... he stared at me for a while, which felt like hours to me but I couldn't break my eye contact with him, maybe it was his natural authority?

He then asked calmly,

" Do you want to run from your actions?"

Even with all my expertise in law and information collection, I still found it quite awkward to console a crying person. Thankfully, I had the Ring of Analyst, which had the powers of sequence 7 Psychiatrist. Thus, I used it to continuously placate her, which then superimposed with my charisma as Sequence 5 Discipline Palladin calmed her down and pulled her out of the abyss that is despair. Although she lacked sufficient information, her testimony confirmed Miss Laly's guess that she was indeed the victim of the Witch Amantha's advancement ritual.

After pouring out all she had in her heart she looked much better. So I said while standing up from my seat, " So Miss Zaubereni to gain strength you would have to take the Assassin potion, and for us to give you one... you would have to join us, So miss would like to join The Balancers?"

"I.... I mean will those masked guys agree, I'm not a good person after all," she muttered.

"I'm sure they will Miss, they work for me after all" I said as I gave a mysterious smile while she stared dumbly at me.
