I frowned and turned around so I was facing him. "Alex?" I asked. He hummed in response. "What are we gonna name the baby?"

He mumbled in coherent words, but I caught the last few words. "I'm so tired" Tears blurred my vision. Is he tired of me? Does he not want the baby? I thought he was excited about the pregnancy. He's probably mad at me. I made him get up like a hundred times to get me food. I should've just kept my cravings to myself. Now, he doesn't even want our baby.

I pursed my lips to hold in my sobs while I got out of the bed. I heard shuffling as I walked towards the door. The lights flickered on, but I kept walking. "Em?" Alex asked softly. I bit my lip as tears dropped from my face and onto my carpet. Alex quickly got out of the bed and wrapped his arms around me. "Why are you crying?"
