Once Again
"What's the second and the third time?" Ryan who was looking at her unwaveringly creased his brows at her.
"It was even before that. I was ten years, maybe. It wasn't that severe. Just a few bruises," Rhea shrugged her shoulder.
Rhea peeked at Ryan who appeared to be seemingly focusing on the road now. She could see his clenched jaws and his hands gripping the steering wheel tighter than before. As if he was suddenly angry.
Was he really angry because she bruised her knees like ten years ago? Really? There was no other possible explanation to explain the reason for his sudden anger.
She bit her lips now staring at her hands fisted on her lap. If he was going to do this to her again and again and again, how could she not love him?
