Mr. Pei walked up and leaned against Xiao Jing's ear as he whispered, "Little Eighteen, why did you come here for? Do you still feel that your achievements are not enough? "
Xiao Jing forced a smile and said, "I'm really just passing by."
Mr. Pei let out a long sigh and called out names to each of them, "Two hundred push-ups after we go back."
"Instructor, are they the elites of the Special Forces?"
Excited voices sounded from behind them.
Pei Zi Yun looked up at the soldiers and saluted. "Ma'am," he said.
The female instructor similarly saluted, then said to the female soldiers with starry eyes behind her, "Don't disturb the training of the Special Forces officers. Everyone retreat three kilometers."
Jiang Xin felt that it was time for him to step on stage. With a single leap, he somersaulted for two weeks and then turned around at 360 degrees, landing steadily on the ground.
"So handsome."
The crowd stirred again.
Jiang Xin puffed up his chest as he turned around and waved at everyone.
"Pah!"
Mr. Pei directly punched the back of Jiang Xin's head and emphasized, "Return to your team."
"Vice-captain, everyone is here."
Mr. Pei inspected the four of them one by one. "Return to camp."
"The wind bellows, the horses bleat[1]."
Mu Xi Chi kept singing loudly, "What are we having for lunch today?"
"Useless."
The group responded enthusiastically.
"What will you have tonight?"
"Useless."
"Nag your head."
"You're yelling," Mr. Pei said, pressing the spear shaft against the small of his back. "Do you believe that I'll leave you here today?"
Mu Xi Chi lowered his voice, "You're holding your head in your hands, there's not a drop of oil in the dish."
The female soldiers all raised their heads and looked at the departing troops. The sound of frolicking could be heard from the crowd.
When Xiao Jing returned to the dormitory, it was as if someone had turned over and over her whole body to take off her bones. She laid on the bed, paralyzed.
Night descended. Outside the window, someone cried out impatiently. The noisy voice was like a lullaby, but after a while, Xiao Jing fell into a deep sleep.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Noises, shouts, and laughter echoed in the camp.
Xiao Jing woke up with a start and sat up with a daze. She looked out the small window and saw that it was already deep in the night.
Did she sleep all the way through the night?
That's not right, isn't there still training today?
Why hadn't she heard the bugle?
Had she over sleep?
Xiao Jing hurriedly got up from the bed, put on her military hat and pushed open the door.
On the field, there was a flickering flame, as if singing was drifting about.
Puzzled, Xiao Jing walked forward and saw a group of rough men surrounded by a group of shy female soldiers. Each and every one of them had a satisfied smile on their faces.
She rubbed her eyes. Why did she feel that this scene was rather strange?
"Second Lieutenant Xiao, you're awake?"
Lin Qi held up a chicken leg that had just been roasted and handed it over, "Captain's order, tonight will be our celebration banquet for completing the mission."
Xiao Jing, who was sitting at the side, seemed to have not woken up yet. She asked in a daze, "What about these recruits?"
"We are all comrade-in-arms. The captain specifically invited them to join."
Lin Qi moved closer, pointed in the direction of Xiao Jing's two points, and whispered, "What do you think of that person?"
Xiao Jing followed his gaze. The female soldier had delicate features, and after noticing their gazes, she quickly withdrew her gaze.
Lin Qi continued, "She's been looking at me for a long time. Should I take the initiative to go over and interact with her?"
"When did the army ever come across such a problem?"
Xiao Jing pushed him to stand up, "Take out your manly spirit and subdue her."
Lin Qi stood up. After some hesitation, he walked over.
Xiao Jing took a sip of water and noticed that a patch of water was suddenly hidden in front of her. She turned her head around. The man's back was facing the light, but from the outline of his body and his impenetrable zongzi clothing, one could easily guess his identity.
Shen Chengfeng sat on the floor too, not saying a word.
Xiao Jing shrunk her neck, the originally fiery passion was suddenly extinguished by the cold air.
"Tomorrow there will be a mission, your own."
Xiao Jing's expression turned cold as she tensed up her nerves, "My mission alone?"
"Yes, Jia Yidao will be coming to Flower Country for a three day secret visit tomorrow. For safety reasons, we need to send someone to protect the whole team."
"Why me?"
"The envoy is a woman."
"…"
"Tonight, you are the only one who has maintained a demeanor. I am very confident that you have accomplished your outstanding task."
Although this reason sounded a bit improper, Xiao Jing seemed as if she had been injected with a ferocious beast factor that ignited her entire body in an instant.
With her head held high and her chest puffed out, she solemnly vowed, "I promise that I will complete my mission."
Shen Chengfeng threw a small stick into the coal fire and looked at the wooden stick that was being devoured in an instant. He then said, "Although the task this time is not difficult, you must always be alert. After all, no one can guarantee that nothing will happen during the three days of travel."
"Yes, captain"
"Be careful."
"Yes, captain"
Xiao Jing sat beside him with a grin on her face.
As the night grew darker, the camp was enveloped in a thick layer of night mist. The coals burned with a crackling sound. After the sun rose into the sky, the coals gradually turned into a pile of ashes.
Xiao Jing simply packed her luggage. Just as she opened the door, she saw Lin Qi who was pacing back and forth in front of her door while muttering to herself.
Lin Qi heard the sound behind him and hurriedly turned his head, revealing a simple and honest smile. He said, "Are you ready to leave?"
Xiao Jing nodded. "The car will be waiting for me outside the camp in ten minutes."
Lin Qi rubbed the back of his head, looking a little embarrassed. He said, "Pay attention to your safety."
"Understood."
With that, Xiao Jing carried her luggage bag and ran downstairs.
Lin Qi looked at his departing back and silently pressed on his chest. Why was this place always unsteady, as if it was empty.
Xiao Jing stood outside the camp, waiting for her car to arrive.
Sunlight rushed out from the clouds and quietly landed all around her.
"Bam, bam,"
The sound of horns echoed through the camp.
Xiao Jing turned around when she heard the sound. A light utility vehicles (SUV) suddenly stopped, and the passenger window slowly rolled down.
"Get in."
Shen Chengfeng was sitting with one hand on the steering wheel and his sunglasses were on as he stared straight ahead.
Xiao Jing opened the car door in confusion. She asked, "Captain, you sent me out?"
"I need to go out on a personal matter and buckle your seat belt."
Shen Chengfeng stepped on the gas pedal and his sunglasses reflected the sunlight. He glanced at the serious face and pointed to a stack of documents in front of him.
Xiao Jing picked it up with both hands and was about to hand it over when she heard him speak.
Shen Chengfeng said, "Let's take a look first. These are all precautions to be taken."
Xiao Jing looked at the A4 paper in her hand. There were at least ten pages full of words.
"Although our status is special, we don't have an impenetrable body. Especially you, you can just treat this as the special team's experiential learning and study properly. In the future, our missions will be ten times more difficult than this."
"I will be careful and on high alert. I will not make any mistakes."
Xiao Jing stared at the words on it, as if she was looking at her college entrance exam. She couldn't wait to eat all of these things and carve them into her bones.
The SUV was parked outside the station. There were not many people at the bus stop in the morning.
Xiao Jing saluted to the SUV and was about to step into the station, but she found that there were people curiously looking at her. She quickly stood up, after all, she was wearing ordinary casual clothes, and if she were to walk properly, wouldn't she look like a lunatic?
According to the female lead's itinerary, she only needed to arrive at the Capital Airport before 7 PM.
The bus driver slowly drove by. The sunlight was partially obscured by the shade of the trees as it landed on the windows.
There were over a dozen people sitting in this bus. They were all either playing with their phones or sleeping with their eyes squinted.
Xiao Jing took out her two years old phone from her backpack, wondering if she should turn it on to see if it could still be picked up. With a shake of the car, each person held a knife and stood in front of her blatantly.
A green dragon was tattooed on the man's arm. He was chewing a gum as he stared at her with a rogue look on his face: "Kid, obediently hand over the money. Otherwise, I won't guarantee that the knife in my hand won't fly to your face."
Xiao Jing noticed that behind the man, there were also three or four people threatening the passengers while swinging their sabers. The driver, on the other hand, turned a deaf ear and continued driving the bus.
This was an ancient bank city on the shore far away from the city. Although there were bigger teams stationed here, there were still many rumours of small group of rubbers working on the city.
These men had not been out of the station to avoid being found out, seems to be the culprit.
"Kid, don't you understand me?"
When the man saw him not move at all, as if he didn't care about him at all, he emphasized his tone and waved the blade in his hand at him.
Xiao Jing nodded, put her hands in her pockets, and seemed to be preparing to take out some money.
The man leaned back in his chair, the corners of his mouth rising.
"There are 501, 502 and 503 teams stationed here. Aren't you afraid that your group will be discovered?"
Xiao Jing asked back.
The man was stunned for a moment. He tapped on his blade with a finger and said coldly, "Cut the crap. Quickly take out the money."
Everyone inside the car obediently took out their wallet.
Xiao Jing rummaged through her bag and took out a set of clothes. While the man was still in a daze, she wrapped her clothes around his hand and jumped out of the chair. With a kick of her right foot, she kicked the man to the window on the other side.
"Bang!"
The bus lurched and the man rolled down the window under the seat, unconscious.
The rest of the rubbers recovered their senses and raised their sabers, thinking to chop at him.
Xiao Jing grabbed onto her own clothes, suffering the pain of the watermelon knife stabbing into her clothes. She twisted and turned, using her knee to kick the man in the stomach.
"Ah!"
The man's expression suddenly changed. Pain assaulted him as he cried out.
Xiao Jing turned her hand around and grabbed onto the other party's wrist. She placed her finger on the back of the tiger's mouth and instinctively released the handle of the sabre.
A palm came down. The man swayed for a moment, then fell to the ground.
"BOOM!"
The bus instantly turned into a mess.
Xiao Jing looked at the rubbers companions, who were constantly backing off. She crooked her finger at them and said, "I have a lot of money here, do you want it?"
The remaining two people gritted their teeth and attacked together.
The interior of the bus was blocked, and there were too many people. Xiao Jing had to control the direction in time to avoid accidentally injuring the innocent people when the fight broke out.
"Ah!"
Just as the golden-haired man rushed forward, before he could swing his own blade down, he helplessly watched Xiao Jing leap high into the air with both hands on the luggage rack, and fly up. The thick soles of her shoes heavily landed on his face, and in the next moment, he staggered a step and directly fell onto the ground, unable to get up for a long time.
"You, don't come over."
The last man hurried to the driver's seat. "Stop."
The driver stepped on the brakes.
Due to the emergency brake, the man didn't have the time to stand properly. His body was caught up in the inertia and crashed into the windshield. As expected, when he came back to his senses, a figure was standing in front of him, laughing innocently.
Xiao Jing twisted her wrist, causing the air to solidify. The sound of her fingers intertwining could be heard.
The man swallowed his saliva, the weapon clattering to the floor.
Xiao Jing swung her fist down, and the man fainted.
The driver didn't dare to say anything and just sat in the driver's seat expressionlessly.
Xiao Jing looked at him without saying a word.
The driver's hair stood on end. He turned his head timidly and asked, "Can we continue?"
"I can tell that you've been robbed many times by them, heading towards the Northwest Police Station."
Xiao Jing went straight to the point.
The driver stepped on the gas pedal and controlled the speed. His voice was neither fast nor slow as he said, "They are a group."
"Does this count as breaking the law under the Emperor's feet?"
Xiao Jing squatted down and touched the body of the unconscious man. She fished out a list of plans. On it were written the departure times of each bus. She even knew the route clearly.
"We are all ordinary people. If we don't listen, they will get their revenge later."
The driver was about fifty years old, and he should be the backbone of an old and young family.
Xiao Jing nodded, "Looks like I've caused quite a bit of trouble."
"Stinking brat, you'd better not mess around in Ancient Bank City in the future, or else I'll cut you down once."
The golden-haired man spat out viciously and roared.
Xiao Jing picked up the watermelon knife on the ground and looked at the reflection of the shadow on the blade. With a smile that was not a smile, she said, "How about I take care of this grudge now, so that I don't have to be wary of walking on the night road?"
The blond man took two steps back in fear, "What do you want to do?"
"I'll kill you!"
Xiao Jing raised her blade and slashed.
"Ah, ah, ah."
The golden-haired man's body trembled, and a large portion of his pants was wet.
Xiao Jing squatted in front of the man and smacked her lips. "Look at this little bit of backbone."
The golden-haired man was so scared that his face alternated between green and white. He once again put down his vicious words, "I'm a local snake here. If you dare to bite me, I'll bite you to death sooner or later."
"En, what a coincidence. I'm a snake catcher."
Xiao Jing grabbed him by the collar, the edge of the blade was ice-cold as she stuck it to his neck. "Don't move. I'm afraid that with a shake of my hand, I'll see blood."
The man stiffened and did not move.
The car drove all the way to the police station. When the police officers who were going to be on duty saw the car, they all held onto guns and were on full alert.
It was not like they had never encountered such a situation before. A few days ago, there really was a driver who drove in directly, bringing along the robbers!
"Everyone in the vehicle put down their weapons."
The policeman's words had just come out of his mouth and the door of the bus was open.
Xiao Jing got out of the car. She faced the police officers and stood in a military posture. With a powerful voice, she said, "Officer, the robbers have all bowed their heads."
The policeman looked at Xiao Jing's ID, then let go of Gao Xuan's heart and dragged the unconscious people out of the car one by one.
The driver checked the car and prepared to leave again.
"Bam, bam, bam."
An SUV was parked in front of the station.
Xiao Jing recognized this license plate and jogged all the way there. Leaning over the car window, she smiled and asked, "Captain, why are you here?"
"Get in."
Shen Chengfeng spat out those two words.
Xiao Jing opened the car door and pointed at the four people in front of her who were being controlled.
Shen Chengfeng glanced at him and said, "Very glorious?"
"Captain thinks I didn't deal with it well enough?"
Xiao Jing lowered her voice.
"Yes, gloriously."
Shen Chengfeng stepped on the gas pedal, turned the car around and continued, "Recently, the city has indeed been a bit chaotic. Your handling of the situation is not bad. You have protected the interests of the people and successfully dealt a blow to the crime. However, you have forgotten that you need to keep a low profile during your mission."
"But I only have two hundred dollars on me. If I give them all the money for the journey, how am I supposed to get back?"
"…"
"Captain, I feel like I don't have much money."
Xiao Jing stared at the side of Shen Chengfeng's face with burning eyes.
"…"
Shen Chengfeng silently took out his wallet from the storage cabinet and threw it on him.
Xiao Jing opened the wallet with great interest. Other than a few coins, there was nothing else in it.
"See, you have more money than I do."
Shen Chengfeng said seriously.
Xiao Jing opened her mouth and became angry once again like a puffer.
Shen Chengfeng cast a sidelong glance at the small figure that suddenly did not utter a sound and said leisurely, "I will send you to the capital."
"This is a military vehicle, didn't you tell me to keep a low profile?"
"In case you get in trouble on the way."
Shen Chengfeng got onto the highway.
Xiao Jing was stunned. She was puzzled and couldn't help but ask, "Captain, how did you know I was here?"
Shen Chengfeng pointed at the car's radio, "This is a group. They have already set their eyes on you. It's a matter of safety, I will send you there."
"I have the confidence to take them out in one fell swoop."
"That's right. Do I still have to give you prizes and advertise your achievements?"
"It is my duty to serve the people."
Xiao Jing patted her chest as she spoke righteously.
"Do you know what happens when you leave your post without permission?"
Shen Chengfeng asked.
Xiao Jing blinked her eyes and bitterly smiled. "One week of confinement, one year's salary deduction."
"This will go to 503."
"Yes, sir."
Xiao Jing leaned against the back of the chair. the car swayed, and she couldn't help but want to squint her eyes.
Shen Chengfeng turned on the audio system and played a relaxing song. Facing the rising sun, the song converged into the traffic flow.
The dark room was dimly lit. A group of people sat around a table with a few lethal weapons on it.
A person said, "Distribute them and kill him!"
"Bang!"
The closed doors of the storehouse were kicked open, and light flooded in. The people inside looked at the figures standing side by side outside the door in disbelief, each and every one of them seemed to be holding submachine guns.
Xiao Zheng's military boots stepped on a piece of wood on the ground and kicked it a few meters away before saying: "I heard that you guys have been planning to chop off someone recently?"
"Comrades of military and military officers, we are all fake here. If you don't believe me, you can try it."
The leader shuddered and dropped the gun on the table.
"Yes, you are quite quick to realize it."
Xiao Zheng slowly stepped forward, "It just so happens that my 138th group has been recruiting new soldiers. I want to see just how strong each of you are, so you are suitable for training."
"…"
Xiao Zheng raised his hand and heavily patted the leader's shoulder, letting out a loud laugh, "Relax, I will personally take care of it all in one fell swoop."
The leader's legs went soft and he was sweating profusely. The funniest joke he had ever heard was "Soldiers and thieves live in the same room together."
"Take them all."
Xiao Zheng picked up a spear from the ground and casually fired it.
"Clang!"
The mirror on the wall shattered into cobwebs, then fell to the floor.
"…"
Swish!
It was a real spear!
"Sure enough, I'm not suitable to talk big. We can talk about it after I beat him up."
"Comrade officer, comrade officer, comrade ah."
The mournful and miserable cries echoed throughout the night sky for a long time.
Xiao Zheng threw the gun at the aide-de-camp behind him and said: "Make sure you clean up everything and steal whoever you want. I don't even want to bully my Little Four so how could you bully him?"
