Greatest Might

Haoran was barely able to dodge the attack with his cloud, leaving a large scratch on his cheek that bled tremendously. As he witnessed the damage that the attack had left behind, he changed his strategy to overcome the foe before him. As he flew on his nimbus cloud he quickly manoeuvred in between the city buildings to hide away from Akumu.

Scoffing at his behaviour, Akumu aimed his piercing black attack towards the city, destroying several buildings, and residential blocks creating a large dust cloud. He then shouted,

"You were talking an awful lot before, what changed? Cat caught your tongue?"

As he spoke those words he had not realised, that he had hidden in between his legs. The diety pulled out some of his hair before throwing it into the sky while shouting,

"BODY OUTSIDE BODY."

As he did so each strand of hair began to glow a luminous yellow light before transforming into a clone of Sun Wukong. This Cursed Technique allowed the god to create one clone per strand of hair that he pulled out. Each clone had its own consciousness and identity but they will always follow the originals commands. Despite their individual weakness, if they were used in mass they could destroy a whole city.

As the swarm of clones began to overtake Akumu, the black titan eventually collapsed onto its back, as a sea of monkey kings began to swim over him. The original monkey king however looked upon his wonderous work from the heavens, as he breathed a sigh of relief. Then with his super hearing, he heard the terrifying words that shocked his battle senses back into action,

"Black Titan X4"

As he heard those words, a pair of giant black arms reached out from the human sea and stretched towards him. As he rode on his nimbus cloud, he simply ascended and manoeuvred around the assault, but it didn't end there. Even more black arms began to pierce the human blanket and reach towards the heavens. Eventually, those arms were accompanied by a head and body. Before he knew it four of those black Titans had appeared before him.

Each titan then manifested a pair of pitch-black fly swatters, as they began to crush the attacking clones under their might. As he watched the massacre, for the first time in 2,500 years the king had felt fear.

The enraged Sun Wukong began to scream at the Titans, "WHO DO YOU THINK I AM?? I AM ONE OF THE MIGHTIEST GODS THAT HAVE EXISTED SINCE THE CREATION OF THIS INSUFFERABLE SPECIES. DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE THAT YOUR INCOMPLETE STATE COULD BEAT ME??"

He then clasped both his hands together while chanting, "Gather, Cultivate and grow. Light of Heaven and destruction."

As he continued, the clouds above began to darken and swirl clockwise. One of the titans swatted the clones, sensing the disturbance in the atmosphere while noticing that the chant was being performed. It quickly morphed its fly swatters into a sphere, then threw the weapon towards the deity. However it was too late, Sun Wukong uttered the words,

"Strike ThunderBolt."

A great bolt of lightning emerged from the heavens and collapsed onto the entire city. Its power was so great that it destroyed the empty barrier the two fought in. Then with a great flash of yellow light, the monitor that the audience used to watch the fight suddenly began to glitch as it disappeared. The audience shouted while throwing trash into the centre of the arena. They were reasonably pissed.

As the monitors then turned back on they were surprised to see that they had returned to the original map that they started fighting on. However, a large empty black void was now present in the sky.

The two fighters were seemingly unconscious and incredibly injured. After 59 seconds the two then struggled to stand back up showing off the various injuries that they had sustained. Akumu was covered in burn wounds while bleeding heavily, while Sun Wukong, had a small hole present in his chest that bled gushed with blood. As the two breathed heavily, they began to approach each other once more as the two healed themselves with the reverse cursed technique.

But before they could clash fists, halfway through their regeneration, they began to freeze as they collapsed to the ground. Akumu said exhaustedly,

"It looks like we are out of time."

The teal light that emitted from his wrist began to die down signifying as his hair returned to its original black colour,signifying the end of his take over, meanwhile on Sun Wukongs end, his headband began to fade, while his fur also fell off, signifying the return of Haoran.

As the two locked eyes, they began beating one another. The two had completely emptied their cursed energy reserves so now it was a fight of pure fists. Akumu threw a left jab into Haorans face, while he responded with a left kick on his shin. Akumu collapsed onto the ground on the injured knee, while Haoran proceeded to kick him in the face with the same leg. 

As he fell, however, Akumu spat his blood into his, face blinding him. As Haoran struggled to wipe his face, Akumu quickly delivered a strong kick in the balls, causing Haoran to shout loudly.

As he fell onto the ground he shouted at Akumu, "YOU BASTARD."

He quickly got onto him, however, and started to beat him down. That was when Haoran struggled to stretch his hand out towards the ocean, as he said, "Extend."

A long thin stick then pokes out of the ocean, hitting Akumu in the left rib cage, pushing him off Haoran. As Haoran stood up over the crawling man, he asked his competitor,

"Why do you struggle so much? What could possibly be worth fighting for that you would push yourself to such an extent?"

Haoran tried to kick Akumu once more, but surprisingly he was able to catch the strike with what little strength he had left. That was when he shouted,

"FOR MY FRIENDS! IF I LOSE HERE THEN I WILL NEVER FORGIVE MYSELF. THEY HAVE ALREADY GIVEN SO MUCH, AS THEIR LEADER I WON'T ALLOW MYSELF TO FALL HERE!"

He pushes Haoran away, while also quickly getting back up. As he dashes towards him he attempts to punch him in the face one last time. As he did however Haoran easily catches it while shouting, "WHAT A LAZY AMBITION."

He counters by tripping Akumu up and then sending him to the floor. Then once again climbing on top of him, he begins to relentlessly beat him down while shouting,

"I WON'T ALLOW MYSELF TO LOSE TO SUCH A HALF-ASSED ANSWER! IF EVERYONE FOUGHT LIKE THAT THEN WOULD THERE BE PEACE IN THIS WORLD. YET CURSES STILL EXIST AFTER ALL THIS TIME! HUMANITY DIDN'T SURVIVE THIS LONG BY FIGHTING FOR OTHERS. THEY DID IT BY FIGHTING FOR THEMSELVES! WE ARE HUMAN, WE ARE SELFISH! THAT IS OUR GREATEST STRENGTH. WHICH IS WHY I WILL BE THE ONE TO WIN!"

As he continued the beat down, a sudden strong force suddenly blew Haoran away. The last of Akumus' hidden strength faded as he stood up. He then shouted,

"Then let us see, whose ideal is stronger!"

As Haoran stood back, up the two began to clench their fists while winding up their last punch. Despite the growing black hole in the sky, rain began to fall on the two while thunderbolts echoed in the air.

And then suddenly they both charged towards each other one last time. As they both swung their fists at one another they both hit each other in the face, sending the other flying back a great distance.

As they both stood back up, Akumu locked eyes with Haoran. He laughed to himself before collapsing.

Haoran then looked up towards the heavens while shouting fiercely,

"SHÈNGLÌ1"

Frosty Whipp, then announced on the megaphone as loud trumpets began to play," "AND THE WINNER OF THIS YEARS CURSED BATTLE TOURNAMENT IS CHINAS' LING HAORAN!"
