The Snitch

With his life hanging in the balance, the cipher member in charge of this den started to speak.

"We came to Alola a few months ago when one of our scientists found a source of energy that could be useful for our leader's cause, so we were sent here to investigate it."

"We learned about special pokemons called totem pokemons here and wanted to learn the secret behind their exceptional growth and why are they so strong? Which soon led us to locate this totem den under the volcano."

"But taking this base was not easy as a very powerful totem pokemon, an Incineroar was guarding it. We tried to ambush it and captured it, but we were too weak and had to retreat after suffering a devastating loss. Luckily for us, another pokemon used Incineroar's weakened state and took over the den. Seeing our chance, we ambushed the new totem pokemon and successfully captured it,"

"We then decided to make this out very first hideout in Alola, and we brought in nearly a hundred members to increase our man force and speed up the construction of our base here,"

"We then discovered the z-crystal that was the source of energy detected by our scientist. We soon began mining it out of this den and it will soon be ready to get transferred from here to our headquarters back in Orre."

"That's it, all important things summarized."

The man spoke while trying to remember if he missed anything.

Julian now knew why he came across a Totem Incineroar and why it has such hatred towards humans, these idiots severely injured it which led to it losing its den, and without the crystal to recharge its strength, it couldn't risk attacking to take over the den again.

Julian "What does your leader plan to do with this huge crystal?"

Julian asked.

"I don't know, man. I am just a handyman. We know nothing about what happens between the leaders, we are only tasked with missions and we don't have any authority to learn about anything that we are doing."

The man answered.

Julian "I hope you are not lying or hiding anything, or you will experience hell. Do you understand?"

"I told you everything we have done since we got here man, trust me"

The man said.

Julian "Then how come you are not informed about all your missing teammates? Hasn't anyone informed you about it?"

Julian asked.

He wondered why this man didn't talk about all the people Julian is taking out on the islands. Do they not know about it? Cipher should have informed them about it.

"I don't know anything man, our group has no access to any agents outside this den. Our communication directly happens with the leaders back in the headquarters. Even agents coming from the headquarters don't know about this den, as the leaders want to keep everything a secret. That is why we completely sealed off all the entrances to the outside world.

Not a single person living here has seen the outside world for months,"

The man said.

This really surprised Julian. He didn't expect Cipher to take such deep precautions to keep information safe. If Julian had not followed Olivia here and found this hidden totem den, he would have never known about this.

Cipher is really cautious with what they are doing as they know their methods are frowned upon by the people of the world. Even organizations like Team Rocket don't take it as far as Cipher.

Cipher is corrupting pokemons and if the outside world finds out what exactly they are doing, the backlash they will face will wipe them out in an instant, so Julian knows why they are so cautious about everything.

The world is still in dark regarding Cipher and Julian has taken it upon himself to get rid of them before they can corrupt more pokemons.

Julian still has one more thing that he needs to find out and that is how to prevent the volcano from erupting, as it is the reason why he is here.

Julian "What have you done with the volcano? Why is it showing signs of erupting?"

"It's because we removed the crystal from its place. As soon as we did that, we found that the volcano might erupt as the crystal is acting as a suppressor."

Julian "If you knew this then why take it out, don't you know your actions will cause mass loss of life on Akala island?"

Julian questioned coldly as his eyes coldly locked onto the man in front of him. This man was willing to sacrifice the lives of thousands of people even though he knew the consequence of his actions.

"It was not my decision, I promise. We informed the headquarters about this before he completely took out the crystal, but they ordered us to continue with the task. They said a few thousand sacrifices is little to nothing for their grand cause, their lives are expendable, their cause is not,"

The man said. He is basically snitching on his boss and trying to distance himself from them, as he doesn't care about his boss right now. The masked man in front of him is much scarier than any of his bosses. He could even feel the cold killing gaze of the masked man, even though he is wearing a mask.

He doesn't want to mess with a man like this at all.

Julian "I see, then do something for me and I will not hurt you."

"Yes, I will do anything you say, please don't hurt me"

The man begged.
