Chapter 4: Meeting Melissa McCall

Lucian's eyes fluttered open, the sterile scent of disinfectant filling his nose. The faint beeping of a heart monitor echoed in the room as he squinted at the fluorescent lights above. His body ached, but it was a dull throb, already fading thanks to the werewolf blood now coursing through his veins. He turned his head, taking in the small hospital room and the figure of a woman standing nearby.

"Ah, you're awake," she said warmly, stepping closer. She wore scrubs and a name tag that read Melissa McCall.

Lucian blinked, piecing things together. This was Scott McCall's mother, one of the most compassionate characters in Teen Wolf. He'd landed exactly where he needed to be.

"How are you feeling now?" Melissa asked, her tone full of concern.

Lucian sat up slowly, testing his limbs. "I'm okay. Sore, but fine. How did I get here?"

Melissa smiled gently. "Sheriff Stilinski found you unconscious in the forest and brought you in. You're lucky you weren't hurt worse. What were you doing out there?"

Lucian froze for a moment. Unconscious in the forest? That's not how last night ended. And why would she assume…

"How old do you think I am?" he asked, trying to keep his voice steady.

Melissa gave him a puzzled look. "Sixteen, right? You don't look a day older."

Lucian's stomach churned. The system must have altered his appearance to help him blend in with the Teen Wolf timeline. Though stunned, he maintained a calm demeanor.

"I'm… not sure what happened," he said, leaning into the role the system had crafted for him. "I'm new to Beacon Hills. Just arrived recently. I don't remember how I ended up in the forest." He hesitated, then added, "I'm also an orphan. I don't have a place to stay. If it's not too much trouble, could I stay with you? I can pay rent."

Melissa's face softened with sympathy. "You don't need to pay me. You can stay with us for now until you get back on your feet."

Lucian nodded gratefully, hiding his satisfaction. Staying with Melissa would ensure he'd be close to Scott, allowing him to guide events toward his second quest's completion.

"I'll go finish your discharge paperwork," Melissa said, stepping out of the room. "You're free to leave as soon as you're ready."

Exploring the System

Alone again, Lucian lay back on the hospital bed and called up the system interface. He hadn't had the chance to explore its features properly the night before.

"System," he murmured, "show me the quest log."

A screen blue appeared:

Lucian hesitated, then shook his head. "No. Not yet. I'll stay a beta for now. I need to manipulate Peter Hale into biting Scott first."

The system acknowledged his decision, and a new screen appeared, revealing the details of the Modified Alpha Wolf Bloodline:

Lucian read through the abilities, his heart racing. The enhancements were incredible, turning him into a far superior version of the alphas shown in the series. But he was most intrigued by the shapeshifting levels and their locked descriptions.

"System, show my current stats," he said.

Lucian nodded, taking it all in. His stats weren't extraordinary yet, but they were solid for a beta werewolf. The available functions were enough to keep him on track.

"Looks like I've got work to do," he muttered.

Moving Forward

The door opened, and Melissa returned, holding a clipboard.

"You're good to go," she said with a smile. "Your vitals are fine, and you're recovering quickly. I'll take you home with me, and we can get you settled."

( Sorry I forgot the injury on his neck by Peter Hale it has been already healed thanks to the wearwolf bloodline before he was found by Sheriff Stilinski)

Lucian swung his legs over the side of the bed, feeling his strength return with surprising speed. The beta bloodline was already working wonders.

"Thank you, Mrs. McCall," he said earnestly.

"Call me Melissa," she replied warmly. "Let's go."

Before going with her he have gone to bathroom to get himself washed where he sees his face and body he was now 16 yrs old just the age to be in same class as the characters and he was a hell of an handsome with black eyes and hairs he was quite attractive.

As he followed her out of the hospital, Lucian couldn't help but smile. Everything was falling into place. The game had begun, and he was ready to play.
