Past and present

"Hmm…"

I gathered the strength to open my eyes, and I could feel the warmth blanket on my back. It was probably Orstrid doing it, but when I looked around the room, it was only me and a stack of paper. I was so tired from writing the report that I fell asleep on the table because we had a long night party to celebrate our small victory. Thanks to that, I know more about Loki Familia's other members.

Oberon learned many things about his goddess, Loki, from other members. Her mischievous behavior and always trying to scheme when she starts to have bad impressions of her, but when she does to her child it's only to have fun with them and of course never she had attention to hurt her child.

There was an incident that happened when Loki Familia almost went to war with Zeus Familia because of God Zeus tried to lay his hand toward one of her children, but if not because Finn and Riveria had stopped her, Loki probably would have declared war on Zeus.

After that, they bombarded me with many questions about my home and how I could manage to reach the middle floor with just level one.

From their perspective, such a thing was not possible, even when I told them that Una Familia did lend me a hand. They are not wrong about that because the most experienced adventurers, Noir-san, think the same as they do.

Then I showed them one of my magics. When I told them that I could chant my magic without needing to do some chanting like other mages, they were dumbfounded that such an ability existed, but of course, I needed to use incantation to be able to use that unknown spell without incantation.

"Let's see what I had to do…"

In the past, I always wrote down everything that happened day after day, but since I arrived here, I have stopped doing so because it brings back one of my memories that I desperately tried to forget, but I still write down my plan that I had to accomplish by any means necessary because of the important impact that it will create in the future. For example, in one of my projects of magic armor, I believed that with the help of the goddess Hephaestus, I could perfect the design of the armor. To gain the help of the goddess, I had to cure her curse, and for that, I had to level up my status.

Two-way adventurers who know how much their progress is either through a ceremony of the gods or goddesses or the adventurer let someone who could read the status written on their back. In the second one, Riveria warned me not to let anyone other than their Familia or in some cases, the guild, know my status because it must be kept secret from other Familia, especially their skills.

("Orstrid, good morning. Did something happen while I was asleep?")

("Morning master, I am sorry, master, for not greeting you in your wake. I am right now helping Nita prepare the breakfast for us.")

Nita is one of Loki Familia's assigned chefs, managing the kitchen. Yesterday, Orstrid lent her a hand to cook for the party. After that, they somehow became close friends, maybe because Orstrid learned how to cook from my mother.

("It's okay. I am glad that you landed someone's hand without asking me. I will stay in my room until I finish the paperwork, and if Rainar-san comes, please inform me.")

("Sure master. I will bring the breakfast to your room.")

("Thank you, Orstrid, you are life safer.")

When I started to write again, I heard someone knocking on my door.

"Oberon? Are you awake?"

'Um, that voice somehow is familiar.'

"Yes, I am. you can come."

Without reply, she opened the door, and what I saw was a familiar face that we probably met last night at the banquet. From other familia members, she is the one catching attention because of her dark long hair and dark eyes; she looks like a young Japanese.

"You look so tired, Oberon. I am sorry. It must be because of last night, is it?"

"It's okay, Anju. I love to know the other members. What happened? Did you need something?"

When Anju laid her eyes on me, she realized that I was so exhausted from working overtime from a bang under my eyes and the pale of paper on my bed that it meant that I did not lay myself on my bed and sleep on the chair. It made her feel guilty about what happened yesterday.

"I am sorry, last night we dragged you too long without thinking you had something you must do."

"Sigh once again It's okay, Anju; to be honest, it was my fault. I want to know everyone and our goddess more, especially the story that you told me about the country in the Far East; it's fascinating."

'According to Anju, there is a goddess named Amaterasu that I was really curious to see in person how she looks like.'

Anju can't help but giggle a bit.

"Sadly, any outsider that is found wandering their country will be killed eminently. Put that aside. The reason I am here just to check on you is because the others were worried you wouldn't show up in the dinner hall. If you like, we could go together to have some breakfast."

'Hm, this thing could wait, plus Rainar-san had not yet come to bring his list.'

"Sure, Anju led the way."

----

"Morning Oberon!"

"Morning."

I was greeted by everyone in the dining hall, and I thought they had already left to do their daily jobs. The dining hall is so lively, it reminds me of the school cafeteria. Orstrid is already expecting us because I already told her that I would have my breakfast with others, so she has already prepared a seat for me. Orstrid prepared a warm stew for everyone. I could see they all enjoyed their meal, probably because it had been a long time since they had good food in the dungeon.

"Mother thought you a lot about her cooking. Thank you, Orstrid."

"You are welcome, master, but I am not sure you could replicate Madam's recipes perfectly."

What Anju and others saw was a brilliantly made bread stew that looked and smelled appetizing. They watch Oberon eat it with a happy expression written all over his face, while Orstrid smiles a bit. All of them know that she is happy to see her master look satisfied with her cooking. Then every male realizes that the chance to gain her affection becomes hard or nearly impossible.

"Master Noir-san left a message asking you to wait for Gareth-san to return before coming back to the surface. Gareth-san should arrive before the middle of the day, according to Noir-san."

"Where is Noir-san?"

"He right now heads to meet Gareth-san party."

'I can wait till Noir-san arrives, but it takes time. With Orstrid carrying many materials, we couldn't walk at high speed, which means if we start leaving in the middle of the day, we should arrive in the afternoon. Maybe I should reveal my teleport magic to goddess Loki to ease our travel in the future.'

Oberon has already prepared the room for the ritual to cast God-level detoxification magic for curing goddess Hephaestus, so now he intends to level up to make sure he doesn't pass out or not have enough mana to heal her. Oberon already had experience using it, but he never tested it or used it in this world.

"Did Noir-san tell you where they met?"

"My apologies, master; I did not ask that question."

"Then we should wait for them to return; in the meantime, we will be prepared with everything we need for coming back to the surface."

Everyone is already aware of the promise that I made to the goddess Loki to come back to the surface in two days. Noir-san and others, for some reason, apologize to me for his goddess's behavior, pushing me too hard. After everyone finished eating their breakfast, they all bid farewell and headed to each of their posts.

"Then Oberon, Orstrid, I will head to the storage room to help you organize the material you gathered."

"Thank you, Anju. Then I walk around town a bit."

"But how about the report you wrote?"

"Don't worry, it takes a couple of hours, and after that, I will finish my report."

"I understand. Then I will head out of the storage room; if you need me, you can find me there."

Then Anju bid farewell and thanked Orstrid for the meal. I could see the room was filled with dirty plates, and only Nita was there to clean the table. Nita was a girl who was probably in her teens. Her race was sheep, as shown by her white hair with a horn shape like a mountain sheep, and her main job was as a supporter.

It's a bit sad that such a young person is already working as an adventurer. I already realize that this world, Gekai, and my former world.

She was not good at combat, but she had good experience in cooking. When she found out that Orstrid could cook, he asked her many things about the Elven race's cuisine, and thanks to that, they became close. When she saw me helping pick up all the dirty dishes when she didn't, instead, she smiled in gratitude like she knew that I would help her.

"Thank you, Oberon-sama. I will take it from here."

"Are you sure? I don't mind helping you."

"Oberon-sama, it's my job to do the cleaning, and I believe Oberon-sama had something more important to do. Did I do it wrong?"

Nita tried to decline politely. Her behavior reminds him of the maid, who declines every time he offers some help.

"Okay, thank you for the food, Nita."

After leaving the base, I head to the place where Kara and others rest. It is located on the opposite side of where Rainar-san lives. When I headed inside, it was not crowded with customers. I already guessed that most of the adventurers had gone back to the surface. The man who welcomes me with a grumpy kind of smile just stares at me in silence, like waiting for me to say a word, but he is not exactly staring in my direction.

"I am sorry. Can you stop staring at her?"

I tried to be polite, but it seemed like he didn't pay attention to my warning, so I had no choice but to use a bit of force.

{Stunt}

"Urg!"

Just point my finger at him with a small voltage that is enough to jolt his perverted brain.

"Does your brain start working now, or does it need to be shocked more to be awake?"

I could see he looked furious, but when he gazed toward my eyes, probably trying to intimidate me when he saw a flicker of lightning on my arm, he changed his mind.

"My apologies I just daydreamed of something."

I just smile and pretend nothing is happening.

"It's okay. I'm looking for my friend; her name is Kara. I believe from Una Familia; did she stay here?"

"Before I answer, can I ask your name and who your Familia belongs to?"

"My name is Oberon from Loki Familia."

"They all went to the market minutes ago."

"Okay, thank you. I am sorry about that. If you keep staring at her, she will do worse than I did."

Orstrid, that person's expression is difficult to read. I don't know how, but whenever I felt that Orstrid was angry, I had the same feeling when I was with Eris. It's her new trait that I just found when we left the Wishe Forest. Orstrid just smiled at the inn owner, but we both know that smile was not a kind gesture but a warning.

"S-Sure It's okay."

We just left the inn and headed to the market area, but I still had this thought nagging in my mind.

"I never knew you could be that angry, Orstrid. Did you hate a person looking at you with that gaze?"

"I-… I don't know, master; it just makes me angry, and I don't know why."

"Let's see if I did have the same gaze as that man toward you; would you get angry?"

She went silent a bit, and somehow her calm expression changed because of the realization of the mistake she made.

"NO! MASTER ARE DIFFERENT. YOU ARE NOT THE SAME AS THEM!"

I was shocked to see Orstrid's reaction the same as everyone who heard her loud cry. It has been more than a year since he made a contract with Orstrid, but Oberon never sees Orstrid showing this kind of reaction.

"Okay, okay, I understand. Calm yourself down, Orstrid. I am sorry to ask that stupid question. I just get curious, that's all."

I tried to calm the people who stared at us; some were Loki Familia, and they looked worried about things just happening, so I just smiled and tried to calm her down.

("Master... Oberon-sama has changed; please don't think that master is still the same person as in the past.")

("You may be right, Orstrid, but me is still me. I can change who I was in the past or the terrible things that I did. Even goddess Ereshkigal said that all the bad things I did were because of the influence of Hitogami, but still, the decision I made was of my own free will, and Hitogami knew me well and used my weakness. I know that my past self will come when I suffer the same fate as that of Orstrid. You are the only one who knows who I am truly, so I am asking, would you help me to protect not only me but the people that I love?")

("Since the day you bind me to the contract, I have already pledged to protect master and include everyone that master loves. I hope master can find the same happiness master found in a past life.")

("Yes, I hope so, Orstrid. With the chance given by the goddess Erehkigal, I will do my best not to betray her and my new family.")

("So, which is it?")

("Um, what do you mean by which?")

("The woman that master will choose to build master's new family")

I can't help but freeze in place and start to recall the question. Before answering her question, Orstrid continued.

("I see master felt comfortable when master with Riveria-sama, but Oberon-sama had a strange gaze toward goddess Freya the first time we met her and the second time. I want to consider Sera, but Lady Viska was clear about other races. So master, which is it?")

'Why was she suddenly interested in who I wanted to marry?'

Oberon went silent for a minute to answer Orstrid's questions. He could put this conversation to an end because, to be honest, Oberon felt he was not yet ready to build his new family after what happened in the past at least for now his attention was to become stronger and understand more about this world.

("Reveria reminded me of Sylphy because of her green hair and her behavior reminded me of the time when she disguised herself as Fitz-senpai and… Riveria's curious eyes reminded of me of Roxy when I explained her new magic theory.")

Oberon feels nostalgic when he first time meets Riveria it makes him giggle a bit, and he remembers the memory of his past life when everything was happy and peaceful. When I tried to recall his encounter with goddess Freya, Oberon's expression changed a bit because of the concern that he had.

("For goddess Freya, she was dangerous. She was what I called a charming woman. I can say that she is probably the most beautiful woman that I ever met in this new world, and because of that, I was a bit afraid that when I stayed with her for too long, I could lose restraint with her behavior and try to catch my eyes' attention.")

There is a question that lingers in Oberon's mind about Freya, but time will reveal it the same way with Loki about why both goddesses have an interest in him.

("They both have their charm, and of course, you and every girl that I met had their own charm, but to be honest, I still hunted with all the events that happened... Just in the matter of a month, I lost everything because of my stupidity.")

Oberon did have that nightmare that always reminded him of his failure to protect his family. When he achieves all the power and knowledge of magic in his former world, there is nothing to protect; family, friends, and loved ones are all gone, leaving him in sorrow and despair. If not for the vengeance he felt, he probably would have tried to take his own life. Then Oberon felt the warmth of Orstrid's hand; he showed the same expression whenever he woke up from his nightmare.

"I pray every day for a master to be happy, and I believe goddess Ereshkigal hopes the master will be happy too."

Oberon still doesn't know how and why he was given the third chance to be reincarnated—is it because of luck or fate? —the same question he had in his life as Rudeus Greyrat, who summoned him and Nanahoshi for what reason.

"I hope she did, Orstrid. Now I want to meet Kara and others, and please don't put on that sad expression. Your beautiful smile suits you."

She blushed a bit and tried to hide her face by looking away and avoiding my gaze.

"Master, it is not a nice thing to tease me too much."

I just giggled at her reaction.

"Let's go to Orstrid; there are many things to do."

(Third Person POV)

Somewhere in a realm where all gods and goddesses were living, each had their domain to rule, and mortals couldn't dream of walking free in the realm of the god known as Heaven. In the domain, all the souls will visit to face judgment for all their deeds when they are alive, but as she works in her domain to govern the soul, she realizes that she has plenty of free time because of the state of Gekai, which has allowed her to enjoy some kind of peace, in her opinion.

The domain itself was outer darkness, only lit by the soul that passed by her gaze. With her beautiful golden long hair, her beautiful red eye, and her un-escapable gaze, she was the ruler of the domain where all the souls passed by, and she was the goddess of the underworld Ershkigal, but right now her eyes are glued to one mortal that visited her domain fifteen years ago. It became her obsession to watch his growth, and because of that, she lived most of her life as a servant who always helped her.

'Hm….'

Ershkigal had been worried about Oberon State, where he had met people with a deeper dark aura who had been doing evil deeds and killing innocent people. While she was thinking and seeing Oberon, one of the goddesses paid her a visit to her domain. Of course, Ereshkigal already knew who she was because there were only a small number of gods that had been allowed to travel to her domain.

"Hm, Ere-chan, as always, could you put away that big mirror in front of you so I could see your face."

"Sigh, Hestia, you know that I was busy, right?"

"Liar! I know you have plenty of free time if you don't. Why did you think one of your friends of the same divinity left Heaven in the first place if they were not bored?"

Hestia is aware of the state of peace that has been continued in the mortal realm. Because of that, many of the gods had plenty of free time and started to get bored, leave heaven, and seek entertainment even if a catastrophe happened it only spiked in a short time and it started to get normal again matter of weeks. Ereshkigal couldn't deny Hestia's statement because Hestia was well aware that many gods and goddesses had divinity to rule the soul.

"So, Hestia, what business did you have with me, the goddess of the underworld?"

"Ha~, I really hope you drop that formality. Ere-chan, we have been friends for more than a time I couldn't count, you know."

Hestia couldn't help but sigh again because she knew that deep in Ereshkigal's heart he wanted to be closer to his friend, but her place as the goddess of the underworld made her behave like that. Hestia is already aware that it is likely that her friend has been watching a particular mortal because she did ask for her help in finding a soul and a good family that could take good care of that soul.

In the eons of a lifetime, she never asked for that kind of help from her, but that changed fifteen years ago because of one mortal soul, according to her. That's why sometimes she tried to ask to find out who this mortal was that had been catching her friend's attention for more than fifteen years.

"So, once again, what business did you bring to my domain?"

"I just want to spend more time with my friend before descending to the lower world."

Ereshkigal is already well aware that Hestia has already planned to descend to Gekai and to be honest, she had the plan in her mind to descend to the lower world, but she already decided to never do that because there is one goddess already descending to Gekai that she despite so much that she even doesn't want to see her face.

"Do what you must, but I am not sure there is anything to entertain you in here."

"Can I see what you are in the mirror? It will be a great benefit if I know more about the lower world. You know it can help your only friend."

Hestia showed her that kind of face again, and whenever she put it on, she couldn't help but grant her wishes.

"Sigh came here; you could sit beside me."

"Yey!"

While Ereshkigal sat on her throne, there was a seat that she prepared for visitors that she rarely had because of how dark and depressed her domain was.

When Hestia laid her eyes on the mirror, she saw a white human-like figure because, in her domain, Ereshkigal made the rule, and it was clear that she didn't want anyone to know about the mortal that she had been watching.

"Hm…."

What Hestia saw was a bright flame in that mortal heart. Things that surprised her were how big and bright the flame inside that mortal heart was. Hestia believed whoever was close to that flame engulfed with his warmth and kind heart, but then the atmosphere changed drastically, and Ereshkigal felt her domain shaking. When she laid her eyes on Hestia, her cheerful expression changed drastically.

"Hestia?"

Ereshkigal never sees Hestia in such a state of reaction. She felt like a different goddess that she was known and friends with.

"Who?"

It was the first word that Hestai said after a few minutes of silence. It was in a cold tone that Erehskigal knew that she was in a state of anger.

"What do you see, Hestia?"

"That mortal… His family that bound his heart was shattered and cut. If he were the sole responsible, there is no way that I saw the red string that was still bound in his heart. It must be a god who can change the of mortal."

Ereshkigal could empathize with her feelings. Ereshkigal indeed felt the same when she saw Oberon's previous life memory. It was probably the first time in her experience as the goddess of the underworld saw such suffering of a mortal caused by none other than a mischievous god.

"I see. Yes, you are correct, Hestia. It was a god that was doing that; sadly, that God was out of our reach."

In Hestia's mind, right now was the feeling of wanting to know and understand why such a thing was happening to him because, in her eon of a lifetime, she never saw such a state of flame in a mortal heart.

"I am sorry, Ere-chan, but I insisted on you telling me that particular mortal story. That warmth and heart flame that got into such a state was... painful for me to watch."

Ereshkigal then hugged her friend to comfort Hestia and her.

"Sure, but it will not tell you his identity... I only tell his past life."

"Um…"

Then Ereshkigal trusted Servan to walk closer to the two goddesses.

"Ereshkigal-sama."

Then Ereshkigal laid her eyes toward her servant, who had been by her side for more than an eon. His name was Dumuzid; his appearance was like sheep, but his fur had a golden color, and his leg was like a sharp spear that stabbed the earth he stepped on.

"It's time, is it?"

"Yes, it is time."

Then she left her throne and gazed toward Hestia. She was already aware of what Ereshkigal had been up to. It had to do with the god Apophis being killed by a mortal not so long ago that had been causing such disturbance in heaven and probably in the mortal world.

"Sure! I will help you, but don't forget your promise to tell his story."

----

(Oberon POV)

Not aware of the kind of commotion Oberon has started in heaven, he was busy preparing for his way to the surface. Every Loki Familia was gathered in front of the gate of Rivira, including Gareth Landrock, who had just come back and brought resupply for the people in the town.

In a previous life, Oberon did have some acquaintances as a dwarf, but when he meets Gareth for the first time he knows that from the physic alone they are different, especially since their height was different from the average draft height that I know. When he arrived we shared some drinks and everyone just joined. Anju of course was worried that I would get drunk so I explained to her that I could drink with them without any problem because my detoxification magic to cure hangover. Thanks to that everyone started to drink competition Gareth tried to invite me, but it was not in my family's costume to alcohol too much because of our bad relationship with the dwarf.

After a short party, Oberon brought all the material he gathered in the dungeon and shone crystal on the healing of the dungeon for research. Oberon did share some of it with Una Familia; at first, they denied it, but when I said that my bags were already full and couldn't carry any more material, she couldn't refuse my offer, and Rainar-san already handed me the information. He is not coming to bid farewell because they will be suspicious; after all, I don't want them to be suspicious of him.

"Then I had everything I needed. Thank you, everyone. See you all on the surface."

"Hm, it's a bit sad our meeting was short and that healing magic is really useful with that I could drink without worried about hangover ever again hahaha. "

I just can help but be worried because I am well aware that the dwarf appetite for drinking alcohol has always surpassed any race in existence as far as I know from my experience.

"Me to Gareth-san, but orders are orders. I don't want goddess Loki to get angry."

Then Anju stepped forward and handed me my weapons Laguz and Logi when I inspected them the blade looked much better.

"Oberon, Orstrid, are you sure to head to the surface with only you two? If you want, we can lend a hand."

Anju already tried to volunteer to help both of us head to the surface, but I already told her that because our magic could boost our speed and we were both the only ones who could use it, Anju or others would probably slow us down. The gravity magic increased our speed and decreased the weight of the material we carried. Thanks to that, I could bring the Goliath magic crystal that was floating on Orstrid's side.

"Then, Gareth-san, I will hand over the information to the goddess Loki. Is there anything you need to be delivered?"

"As far as I am concerned, there is nothing more than the paper you write. You had a great talent to manage to compile such much information on such a small number of pages."

"It's all thanks to my mother and father's teaching. Now I bid you all farewell."

Then we both head to the entrance of the 17th floor, which directly heads to the floor boss, the Goliath. Normally, it is not possible to use that entrance to leave the 18th floor because of the steep road that is impossible to climb, but with earth magic, I could create a staircase so it's not a problem for us to use it.

"Hm, the staircase I made yesterday was gone. Well, I had to create a new one."

We already decided not to pick up any material that had been dropped by the monster because, right now, our main enemy was time, plus our bags were already full of material to be exchanged for money. It took us a day to reach the middle floor, but it was my first time venturing into a much deeper floor. With the knowledge of the maze of the dungeon that I memorized, I estimate it will take us 3 or, in the worst case, 5 hours of travel.

"Let's stick with our plan, Orstrid. I will count on you if I do make a wrong turn."

"I understand, master."

When we finished climbing the stairs, we arrived at the floor boss, and after minutes of walking, I could see the white wall that people called the Big Wall of Grife. The things that caught my attention were the shadows that were on the wall, including all the battle scars that I created by using water magic.

'It's almost like the dungeon heals itself.'

There are still many questions in my mind about the dungeon itself. I know this dungeon already existed for more than a thousand years, or maybe it is much older than we recorded, but I had no time to do more experiments.

"Let's up the speed, Orstrid."

"Yes, master."

----

(Third person POV)

Orario is a city that has always been bustling with activity, especially the adventurers who went into the dungeon and left to exchange the material they gathered, but lately, the city road has not been so bustling with activity, and most of the people know why, especially the guild members who have been hearing all the adventurers complain about the danger and the guild being so powerless to stop Evilus.

"Um, so bored."

"Come on, cheer up, Rose; you have to finish the last report before dawn."

"Even though I finished this paper, I had to work overtime again."

Rose Fannet was one of the guild members who just joined the guild days ago, yet she had been working overtime, but she tried to enjoy every bit of it. Her favorite time working as a guild employee was hearing all the adventurer stories about their adventures in the dungeon.

It was almost afternoon; normally, the guild was not so bustling with adventurer changers and their material, but lately, everything was changing in a good way, and Rose knew exactly why and who was responsible because people were already gossiping about his name, especially the female adventurer, and his name was already known by others. His name was Oberon, a high elf with gold hair and red ember eyes, and his green robe, manners, and clothing were indeed reflecting his status as an Elven nobility.

Rose knows that all the female adventurers have an interest in him, but they all know that the girl beside him is on another level compared to them and She just learned her name recently from Loki Familia's new member application. Her name was Orstrid, She was not a high elf; she was only an elf with rare silver-white hair. Thanks to her appearance, many male adventurers started talking about her. They all agree that she must be Oberon's servant because there is a rumor lately being spread in the Elven race community that Riveria was Oberon's fiancé.

While Rose thinks about Oberon and writes all the reports of the material that is being gathered today, she doesn't realize that there is a large crowd at the entrance of the guild office. Until somebody called her name, she started looking in front of her. There, she was looking at two familiar elves with large chunks of magic crystal, and behind them was a large crowd gathered.

"Rose?"

She was still stupefied by the amount of material and shocked.

(Oberon POV)

When I arrived at the guild, I felt like every single eye in the crowd was looking at me. Oberon couldn't blame them because a large chunk of magic crystal and a large bag were filled with material carried by Orstrid. He tried to exchange the material he gathered, but when he arrived, Rose was busy writing on the document. When he was looking for an alternative, most of them were occupied.

"Rose?"

When he called her name, she finally put down her pen and tried to smile. Before she said a word, she was frozen. I tried to call her again, but there was no response, so I waited for a couple of minutes.

"Um Oberon, san."

"Yes, Rose-san?"

"Is that floor boss from the 17th-floor magic crystal you have been carrying?"

"Um, yes, it is. Is there a problem?"

"OF COURSE, IT IS! YOU JUST JOIN LOKI FAMILIA DAYS AGO!"

"Okay, okay, I am sorry. Please calm down, Rose. I know I am being reckless, but I had good reason, and I did not go deep down alone."

Rose stared at me suspiciously.

"Who are you going with? Don't say that with Orstrid alone."

"Of course not. I am going with Una Familia. They help fight and guide me through the middle floor."

"Hm, if so, where are they?"

"They are all staying in Rivira right now."

"Okay, I understand. Sigh, I believe you want to exchange all of those materials, right?"

"Yes, please."

Then I put all the materials we gathered in the designated place that Rose told me to put them. Normally they would get suspicious when a level one mage gathers so much material, but they know that I am part of the Loki Familia, and they all know that the elven noble will not steal or rob the material from the other adventurers because the eleven races are known for their prideful character, especially the high elf.

"It will take time to identify and calculate every piece of material you gather... I estimate that it will take till nighttime."

'Hm, that was too long. I am not sure Loki and Hephaestus will be pleased if I make them wait much longer.'

"Rose, can you deliver the money to the Twilight Manor?"

"Sure, we will deliver it after we finish."

"Thank you. Then I want to excuse me, and Orstrid had things to do."

Then we both take our leave with some kind of document. After walking through the crowd of people just staring at us, we finally can walk free on the main road that heads straight to the Twilight Manor. I was greeted by Familia members, and they said that goddess Loki was expecting me.

While we both walk through the hall, heading to the goddess Loki's room, I see the yellowing light illuminated by the sun getting dimmer, which means it is already afternoon.

'I had to update my status and went to meet goddess Hephaestus quickly.'

When I arrived at the front door, I tried to knock on the door.
