Helpless

John reached the place. He saw Adam and Maria standing outside the house looking at the top room with a worried face.

Natasha said,

-"Look, they are the father and mother of Donna. Adam and Maria. Go fast and tell them everything. I'll go and see what's happening inside."

John asked,

-"Why is this place deserted? The houses around here seem like no one in it. Where are the people who live in the houses?."

Natasha said,

-"Oh the creep inside must have managed to scare them, and they might have already left this place. You forget it and focus on what you have to do. I'm going in. But don't forget I cannot stop him from doing whatever he's going to do."

After saying that she vanished. John walked towards them. He was so observant he even noticed the black and white fur cat on top of the tree.

Reaching near them Adam and Maria looked at John with curious eyes. They felt something divine about him.

Adam said,

- "It's not safe here. Please leave this place immediately."

John asked,

- "Why is that? What's happening?"

Maria said,

- "We didn't have time to explain. Please leave this place, son. Even if we explain you might not believe us."

John smiled and said,

- "Try me."

Adam and Maria looked at each other. They whispered something. They felt it was safe to tell him everything. So Adam said,

- "Our daughter is possessed by a strong evil spirit. An exorcist is doing an exorcism on her. He said that the ghost might be stronger and he might fail to contain it. So that the ghost might try to possess anyone it sees. That's why the neighbors leave this place till the exorcism is over. Please go back. We didn't expect you to believe it but please listen to us."

John smiled again and pulled out a card out of his pocket. He showed it to them. It was a rare card that had only been given to a chosen few around the world. Adam and Maria knew about it because when they went to the church for help, a missionary came to do an exorcism and showed the same card to them.

John said,

-"Look sir, I'm an authorized exorcist. But what you are doing here is not acceptable. Whoever is inside there is not an authorized exorcist. I'm not even believing that he's here to help you. You must go inside and stop him right away."

Maria became emotional and said,

-"Please son. We can't take this anymore. Your people refused to help us because they are saying, this all happened because we were not religious.

Whatever the reason was, she's just a girl. She never did anything wrong to suffer all this. Watching her makes us feel like we don't want to live anymore."

John said,

- "Ma'am I'm not trying to make trouble here. You must trust me on this. This is for your own good. The guy inside is not an exorcist."

Maria,

- "Just let us try this one time. You can take him under custody if he fails. Please think of us as your parents, think of her as your sister. Just a little time that's all we are asking. Won't you do it for your own sister?"

John,

-"Ma'am I'm not getting any pleasure by doing this. He is not an authorized exorcist, even an authorized exorcist needs permission to do the exorcism. Only a selected few like myself are the ones who don't need that. The rules are made for the reason of people misusing the ritual for other purposes. You should...."

While he was trying to convince them Natasha flew through the walls and came to John. She was shouting,

- "What the hell are you doing? It's now or you'll lose her..."

John understood the situation. He ran into the house. Adam and Maria also felt like John wasn't lying. They followed him. Natasha showed the way. John ran towards Donna's room and he tried to open it. But it was locked from the inside. The voice of Jude chanting was heard loudly.

He didn't wait any minute; he kicked the door and smashed it open. They ran inside and saw Jude was on top of Donna trying to remove her clothes.

Because of the recorder's high volume and the fully consumed lust, Jude didn't even realize that John smashed the door.

John looked inside the room. Jude drew a circle on the floor. And inside it, there was a star shape and on every corner, he put a candle. He was planning to make an atmosphere look like he was really doing an exorcism. John realized that Jude planned it well. Most people will believe this type of drawing and action as an exorcism.

Adam ran towards Jude and pulled him out of the bed. He threw Jude away and looked at Donna to make sure that she was okay. Her face was still evil but she was looking at John. Her face became red in anger.

Jude hit his head and fell down. And when he regained consciousness he tried to escape and Maria captured him and started beating him.

John looked at her. Maria was so angry that she looked like she was going to kill Jude. John didn't try to stop her. He understood that it was a mother's right to kick the ass of the man who try to abuse her daughter.

Adam came near her and stopped her. They took a rope and tied him upon the stair handles. Adam made sure that Jude could not escape. Then they walked towards Donna's room.

Donna was struggling to get free. But John was standing there and watching her. He was studying her. Adam and Maria came to the room.

They looked at Donna. Then Maria said,

-"I don't know how to thank Mr. Jauary. You saved our daughter. We are sorry for not believing in you."

Adam,

-"Yes sir, we are really sorry. And thank you for helping us. You came here like an angel sent from heaven."

John smiled,

-"Please sir, just don't say big words like that. And ma'am just call me John."

Adam,

-"Okay John. Thank you so much for your help. But how did you know about us?"

John smiled and said,

-"Well when I first came here, both of you said I won't believe you if you tell me the truth. But now I'm telling you that you won't believe me if I tell you about my truth."

Maria looked at him curiously and said,

-"It's as you said, try us."

John looked at her. Then he said,

-"I have a friend. She's a soul. A good soul. She roams around the city to look for trouble and pushes me into it."

(He was laughing while saying that)

Adam and Maria looked at each other. All the things that are happening around them, they realize it's possible.

While they were talking John noticed that the cat was sitting on the top of the tree and was watching everything happening inside.

YOU CAN'T TOUCH ME.....

Adam and Maria become shocked upon hearing that. It was Donna. She was looking at John. John stood there like he expected that. He was calm and he put his backpack down.

He said,

-"The real battle begins now...."
