Chapter 15

"Please sign here, Ma’am" the man who brought in my furniture said, drawing me out of my reverie. I swiftly took the paper from him and signed.

"Thank you, ma’am. I hope you have a nice day" his eyes rolled over my satin night dress and I barely even had the strength to give him a smart reply. I watched him walk out of the house with Zeus hot on my tail as I walked back up to my room –where a few men had placed the new furniture in and picked my phone. I was mostly obsessed with the purple and white vanity table but I was mentally exhausted.

I was embarrassed. I felt stupid and dumb.

Michael did not come knocking at my door to apologize and for some reason, I knew half of it was my fault. Why did I wear a towel into his room? Why did I give in? Why did I not stop him or give him a dirty slap?

‘Because you’re one horny virgin’ I thought and groaned before jogging down the stairs.

I already made it my life’s mission from here on out to avoid that sleazy handsome bastard.
