(Clarifications on Gluttony)
Hello, it's the author. I read some comments that had doubts about Izuku's ability (remember that I publish the stories on several platforms and languages). So I will leave this clarification to explain how his power or authority works, whatever you want to call it. The original ability of Daphne (in Re:Zero), in addition to all the attributes that I will mention, also allowed her to create mabeasts and control them, but I will not include that ability. I think that with the basic ability of Gluttony it is enough.
The Authority of Gluttony:
Gluttony: It allows the consumption of the name and memories of its victim. However, to do this, it must touch them with its left hand and pronounce their true name, then lick the palm of the same hand. Things such as experiences, talent, and likes and dislikes of human relationships serve as food, allowing it to take advantage of any ability or memory of its opponents. However, if the user eats a false name, they will have severe nausea.
• Those who have had their names eaten have their existence erased from the world, destroying any human relationship they may have had.
• Those who have their memories eaten become amnesiacs and any characteristics they may have had are reset, turning them into a different person.
• Those who have both their name and memories eaten simply end up in a coma, however, they will continue to live as a shell with nothing inside.
Eclipse: It is considered as the trump card of gluttony and is supposed to have two types: Solar Eclipse and Lunar Eclipse
Lunar Eclipse: Allows the holder to use the memories of the victims and use all their abilities and knowledge.
Solar Eclipse: Allows the user to transform their body and appearance into that of one of the people whose name they have eaten, thus perfectly replicating the abilities of their victims. It is suggested not to use Solar Eclipse as there are side effects to transforming into their victims, as it may feel like they are losing themselves by becoming another person.
