Chapter Twenty - Two

Jessica opened her eyes suddenly and saw his son and husband sleeping peacefully beside her. She was overwhelmed and gently touched their hair lovely

"Honey!!!.. Ryan!!!.. Please wake up" She said slowly

They both wake up together at once and stared at Jessica in shocked. Ryan quickly ran out to call the doctor while her husband hold her hand gently

"Are you hurt somewhere? are you okay? don't worry honey, the doctor is coming. you will be fine soon " He said calmly as he squeeze her hands gently.

The doctor entered with Ryan right behind him, he checked her gently and smiled towards her family

"Thank God, she's fine.. She survived" doctor said

"Thank you doctor, when are we going to discharge her?" Ryan asked curiously as he loved closer to his mother and touched her cheeks lovely

"In two days time sir but she still need a lot of rest here and at home.. don't stress her" he said slowly

"She does not even do anything at herself" Her husband whispered slowly

"That's good sir but I don't mean house chores but emotional stress sir like something that will get her angry sir" Doctor explained slowly

"Ohhh that!!.. is for her to hear that doctor, talk to her herself not to get angry unnecessarily" her husband said calmly

"Don't worry doctor , she will be fine" Ryan said softly

"Don't mind me doctor, thank you for your effort so far.. well done, Keep up the good works" Her husband replied slowly, the doctor nod his head and leave the room slowly

"I told you to stop getting angry unnecessarily, you just wanted to kill yourself over unreasonable matter that you can settle with your good gifting wisdom from the almighty but no, you choose to behave childishly" Her husband said coldly

"Dad, you don't need to scold her now" Ryan said slowly

"No, she needs to hear the truth. Jessica think of it yourself, assuming you died on the spot. What do you think will happen to us?.. Let me tell you, if you die you die for your own foolishness and I will so join my son with my daughter.. Yes Honey, they will get married and have grandchildren even without you here with us.. What is wrong with you? you behave like a child, instead of focusing on your son's wellbeing.. you only thought of yourself" Her husband said as she bow her head in shame, tears came out of her eyes

"You've started with your crocodile tears right? this time, it won't work in me I swear" He said, went outside towards his car and drove off angrily

Ryan looked at his mother pitifully

"Why did you scare us like that? dad is only angry with you because he is very scared" Ryan said softly

"Did I scare you too son?" She asked curiously

"Yes Mom but you don't need to know that, focus on getting better first to make us happy " He said, open the door and leave the room.

Jessica felt so angry with herself, she took her phone and call someone

"I need you in my room now" She ordered

The room opened and doctor came in quietly

"You called ma'am?.. did you like my work?" He said smiling to himself as Jessica gazed at him angrily

"The plan did not work.. not even my husband is freaked by it and my son" She said coldly

"No that's not true because I saw the way your condition scared them both. they just want to prove they are strong ma'am" He said slowly

"I will deal with them later. I hope that foolish poor did not come here or even see me?" She asked curiously

"Actually yes, she came here and she was there for your family while you sleep" He replied

"Are you okay? I specifically told you not to allow her inside except my family" She yelled at him

"I will respect you stop yelling in the hospital because of other patients Mrs Collins.. I can't keep watch on every move your family take because is none of my business. I only do what I love doing not to turn into a spy for someone" He said sis angrily

"Will you shut up?!!.. you love deceiving people for a job? you think you won't be catch one day" She said

"Well I have had enough of your blackmails, have done my part of the plan so you too should delete the video you have against me.. I already stopped this act two years ago but now I know your past will keep haunting you and please tell me.. are you a witch? don't you have any better works to do? are you that jobless? what will get from you stupid acts?.. Sorry ma'am but your heart is filled with hatred and you are wicked" He said angrily

"Will you shut up?.. I see you are ready to ruin you career?" She threatened

"Well ma'am, I don't care.. is time for me to eat the fruit of my labour, so please go ahead ma'am.. it will make it easier and quicker to get punished" He said

"Get out of the room.. you are a big fool" She said, lay down and faced the other side. the Doctor left the room angrily

Mr Collins got home angrily, he sat down as he close his eyes when the front door opened and his son came in

"Dad why would you say such words to her?.. she's your wife, who just survived from the point of death. You are not suppose to talk to her in that matter because she just recovered, you should at least consider her firsts dad" Ryan commented slowly

"Ryan you wouldn't understand.. That woman may be my wife but she's desperate and wicked". He replied

"How dad? tell me Dad?" Ryan asked curiously

"Ryan, your mom made this own plan up with the doctor.. it's her plan son" He said

"I don't understand, how? my mother?.why?" He asked

"That I don't know Ryan.. I overheard the doctor discussing a very important matter about my wife and that got my attention"

FLASHBACK

Mr Collins was walking towards the restroom, he saw a nurse passing by and asked her

"Nurse please I need your help, pls where is the restroom?" He asked hurriedly

"You will go straight to your left, the first room on the right side is the restroom. infact you will definitely see the name in front of the room " The nurse said calmly

"Thank you nurse" He replied and smiled a little at her. The nurse went on her way as Mr Collins followed the direction, he entered the room and quic

kly came out. He worn his trousers very well, he was about going when he heard his wife's name so he stopped

"Mrs Collins, that woman is a devil herself" The person said coldly, talking to someone on the phone

"Why would they call Jessica a devil even when she's in coma" He thought to himself

"She knew about my secret and threatened to use it against me. I begged this woman but her hatred for that poor girl made her lie to her own family.. those poor husband and son crying over that wicked woman not knowing is her plan.. I strongly wish she never wake up again honey" He said coldly. Mr Collins widen his eyes with his mouth opened in shock, he moved closer to the person and saw the doctor back view.

PRESENT

"What?.. you mean her accident is an act?" Ryan asked in shock

"That's it son but I just don't know why?" he replied

"She will explain herself, don't worry dad" Ryan said and took his keys as his father follows. they drove to the hospital in Ryan's car.
