Chapter Twenty - one

Emily looked at him and shaked her head smiling

"If you truly want to kill someone, then you would have someone then you would have done that since. You won't have stopped but you stopped because you have a heart and a pure one at that" She said smiling

Ryan taste his own tears at her words, as Emily moved so close to him and touched his cheeks softly.

"I believe you and I trust you alot even if I lost that right 20 years when I left you " She said softly as more tears poured out from Ryan eyes. He wept so loud on her shoulder

"Emily!.. why did you leave me?.." He screamed out painfully as Emily hugged him

"I'm sorry Ryan, I'm so sorry" she said crying for him

"Emily nobody believe me, they thought I killed Moses I didn't.. His former friend came over to my house and screamed that I took his friend because of my money, He was jealous of me and he wanted to harm me with a bottle of wine on my room when Moses came in and he was hit by it and it was this person that told the police that I killed his friend. Moses told him their bad intentions and he wanted to tell me about it that day but when he saw what happened, he felt he needs to protect me from him..." He paused and took a deep breath before

he continue again "Emily, Moses died in my hands... like in my hands I lost someone and I remembered how you died because I too slow to find someone that will help you Emily.. My life was hell after the matter got to the police, I was taking to the prison but my parents closed the case with their money..." He said and paused before taking a deep breath again as fresh tears came out if his eyes

Emily touched his cheeks lovely

"I know you can get through this Ryan, I believe in you Ryan.. tell me, what build and kept you in this cage Ryan?" She said smiling lovely at him as he took a deep breath

"Emily people insulted me.. they called me names that I had pride, a killer even my mom insulted me that I killed you and my friend Moses. I had nightmares Emily, I saw you in my dreams crying in my dreams that I left you and Moses asking for my help.." He shaked his head in shame as Emily hold his hands gently

"Ryan please forget it" she assured him

"You both are asking for my help but I could not help cuz I was helpless. Everytime I stretched forth my hands to either save one of you, you both fade away and I always see you both in the pool of blood.. i could not sleep properly and so I buried myself into work.. I worked so hard Emily just to get over this nightmares but no.. Save me please" he said crying loud as he felt so weak

"None of us is able to save you except yourself Ryan, you need to face your fear and get over this trauma.. see Ryan, I am here, one of the person you dream about and now you should imagine a positive things.. think about our good moments and that of Moses, he didn't want you to suffer even after his death. He died for you to protect you and not to put you into bondage of guilt and same goes to me Ryan.. I only want the best for you and nothing more.. well I can't help, you just need to fight this negative thought, imagination from your memory and start thinking in a positive way. Believe that you did not kill anybody and that you are not capable of killing someone and that Moses is gone forever while Emily is here with you as your friend forever. Fight it Ryan like really fight it or else it will ruin you.. don't let other's opinion ruin you because it will build a home in your life and in the process of looking for a place to relax, you adapt and it can kill you.. Ryan forget the past and looked forward to the future.. build on the future and make a good living with it then you will be safe.." She said softly and left the room, leaving Ryan to wander in his thoughts

Ryan sat down gently on the floor, and wept so loud remembered every little details about Emily and Moses. He felt so much pain and agony that he screamed out so loud as more tears flow uncontrollable

Emily still in the living room, listening to his noise and wept for him silently. she wished she could help him but she felt helpless and it hurt her. She remembered the day she heard him screamed out in his office and saw him sweating

"So he's in pain because of her? Almighty please, save him from this trauma and give him peace that he deserves lord please" she said and slowly leave the house with an heavy heart. She received a call from her friend at the cafeteria

"When are you coming to work madam cuz the boss is asking for you constantly" Imlie whispered slowly

"Am on my way please, keep him busy till I come" She said quickly

"Are you crying? did Ryan talk to you? did he insult you Emily? I promise to kill that man" she threatened

"No he didn't do anything" Emily said hurriedly

"Okay that's good, please come quickly " she said and hung up.

Imlie faced her boss and smiled awkwardly at him

"Sir I told you, she had an important business that got her attention. She's on her way here please" She said

"She better be fast and when she get here.. tell her to see me in my office " He ordered and left to his office

"That man is adamant.. I know he has something for Emily and I never pray she ended up with that useless man.. that man is completely stupid for my likely " she thought to herself and hissed. she continue her work and few minutes later.

Emily walked slowly and moved closer to the cafe table where Imlie is working and tapped her gently. Imlie jerked back shocked

"Emily you scared me seriously" She said hurriedly

"What happened? what did our boss say?" she asked curiously

"Well that stupid man said you should meet him in his office when you get back so gently go to his office and talk it out with that useless man" She replied

"I don't understand what our boss has ever done for you to detested him this much Imlie "She said jokily and walked to the boss office. She knocked gently and heard him

"Come in " Her boss Said

She entered gently and stood calmly with her head down and said "Sir you told Imlie you want to see me"

"Yes, I told that stupid friend of yours to tell you that. at least she remembered one thing in her life" He replied angrily

"Well I don't understand the two of you" She replied

"Where are you coming from Emily and why are you just coming this hour? have you forgotten that you have work here and you can't just go out anyhow without my permission" He said coldly

"Sorry sir, I had a very important work to do outside of the cafeteria and it was sudden so it skipped my mind sir but I am truly sorry for leaving like that" she pleaded slowly

"Don't let it repeat itself again Emily or I can't promise you the results and I mean it" He said coldly

"Yes sir, it wouldn't happen again.. thank you" She said

"You can go back to work now" he said and continue his work as she left the office. she waited for Imlie to get back to their usual spot

"What happened Emily? hope that good for nothing man didn't insult you?" She said coldly

"No ma'am, he said I should not repeat it again without his consent or he won't promise the results" she said

"Who is asking for that stupid man's permission? we are have right to go anywhere we want " She highlighted harshly

"Yes Imlie but he's till your boss and your movement is restricted when you are working " she explained and smiled at her

"Whatever.. " she said and continue her work. Emily continue her work quietly
