Chapter Thirty - One

Ryan left the house in anger to his office, he met a male figure having a deep conversation with his secretary, he walked faster towards

"Is this why I employed? to gossip around?" he said coldly staring at them with anger

"No sir, he was actually waiting for you.. so I told him to wait here in my office and so to keep him, I was talking to him" She said

"That means you are jobless.. very jobless cuz I know if you have better work to do, you won't sit down here talking to a complete stranger to keep him busy.. that's completely insane.. anyways Mr man, come to my office and kindly let her direct you" He said harshly and entered his office

"I am sorry for his behaving.. my boss is always the sweetest boss ever but I think today is bad for him and I will comment that you are truly unlucky today to meet him in this bad behaviour.. Please be careful and more precious with him sir" She said slowly

"You like your boss and donow that?" The man said, smiling at her

"I think my boss is right, is complete waste of time talking to you. I have better work to do and anyways, his office is opposite my office. thank you" She said hurriedly, faced her laptop and type with full concentration. The man left and followed the direction she gave. He located it and knock

"Yes?.. come inside please" Ryan answered quietly, busy on his laptop when the door open and he saw the man with his secretary. He felt guilty somehow

"Mr Ryan Collins!!.is good to finally know you" He said

"I don't think so sir but I know I passed my aggression at you and my secretary.. am very sorry"He apologize

"Ohh!!.. it's fine, I really don't mind that and like your secretary said.. you never reacted like that with them but you know first impression last long " He said coldly staring at him

"I know and that's why I am apologizing" Ryan said

"Well apology will not stop the truth from coming forth right?" He said coldly challenging him with his eyes

"What do you mean?" Ryan asked curiously

"I mean, a man's behaviour is like smoke.. no matter how hard he hide it, it will come forth" He replied coldly

"I still don't understand you Mr..?" He said but stop to get his name

"Mr Edward.. you don't need to pretend anymore, no matter how hard you try to hide your true identity. it will show and disgraced you" He said

"your words are not understanding, would you shed more light on this because I don't understand" He asked curiously

Mr Edward suddenly stood and bang the table harshly as he screamed loud "Don't you dare tell me that you have.no idea of what am saying because I swear I will you.. Ryan the rich spoilt child who his mother can go to any extent to keep him save... you thought they covered your secret and that you are save? No Ryan, I'm sorry to tell you but you are going to jail. I swear to ruin for the death of my brother Moses" He yelled

"Moses? you mean Moses is your brother? But how? I mean how did you know me?" Ryan asked curiously

"Are yiu surprised murdered?.. you killed my brother for free and went Scot free but no as long as his brother is alive, you are going down..Have started my work anyways with ruining your reputation. You remembered the day you saw a picture about your long lost friend?.. actually I called you and I arranged someone to snap myself and her." He explained

"You mean you are Emily's boss that intend to destroy my life with false news.. What secret do you want to expose Mr Edwards?" He asked curiously

"You thought I don't know you had nightmares about Moses, that's guilt killing you Ryan.. I swear you will rot in hell for your offense" He said harshly and take his seat looking at him challengingly

"I never knew you were Moses brother I swear but we can solve this amicably without any one hurting another, don't you think?" Ryan said

"I don't want to settle anything with a murder" he said

"I'm not a murder and I will kindly advice you to respect yourself here.. this is my office and I don't conduct this act of yours sir" Ryan said coldly

"Ohhh!! so now you have the enffrontary to talk back at me.. have you gone mad?" He screamed loud at him

"Firstly I want you to get this straight Mr man.. this is my office and I have every right to talk to anybody anyhow besides I didn't talk to you anyhow.. I was more than polite not rude.. Secondly, I'm not a murder because I never killed Moses or even hurt anyone.." Ryan said quickly

"Now, you are trying to defend yourself right?.. anyways I'm going to make you pay for your actions and get ready to meet my lawyer" He said coldly

"I will wait for that sir but pls kindly get out of my office this minute before I lose it" Ryan said gently, Mr Edward stood up and faced him

"See you in court Mr Ryan Collins " He said and leave the office

Ryan took his phone and dial a number

"Barrister George, I need your help now.." Ryan said

"What happened Ryan?" The lawyer asked

"A man called Mr Edward came to my office just now and accused me of killing his brother Moses promising to take the case to the court" Ryan said

"Do you know this person?" He asked curiously

"Yes George, the deceased was my friend and I swear I didn't kill him at all" Ryan said softly

"Then we have no problem in going to the court with his lawyer, we'll fight the truth out" He replied

"George!!!.. I'm scared that I might lose the case, that man is so brave with his promises" Ryan said

"Did you kill him honestly?" He asked curiously

"God is my witness, I didn't kill anybody" Ryan replied softly

"Then Ryan, we are good to go.. " He assured him as Ryan took a deep breath of relief

"Thank you lawyer, I will talk to you later" He said and cut the call. Ryan hold his head with his hands and bow a little in frustration
