Chapter Thirty - Four

Emily dressed up after taking her bath and the house to Ryan's house. She pressed the button like her own house, walking early in the morning. She walked straight to Ryan's room and met him covering himself with his duvet. She slowly walked towards the bed and sat at the edge of bed as she gently touched the duvet and opened it to see his face. Ryan opened the eyes and so shocked to see her.

Ryan looked at her curiously still wondering how? He gently caress her cheeks and moved more closer to her as he stood up gently.

"Emily?... " He asked still looking at her curiously

"Ryan it's me Emily and I'm real" She replied with a bright and beautiful smile.

Ryan looked at her closely but focused on her lips like he was studying for his exams. Ryan noticed that she has a pure pink lips that looks more glowing now like she added another lipstick to it.

They stared at each other curiously like they're seeing themselves for the first time. Their face moved closer slowly as Ryan stared at her eyes back to her lips asking for permission. She made no effort to move away but kept staring at his lips as she bit her lower lip

Ryan lost control as grab her by her neck tenderly as he kissed her passionately. he kissed her like no man's business, like an hungry animal eating his long lost prey. Emily lost her breath at first but kissed him back passionately, both fight for dominant until Emily give in fully to him opening her mouth as Ryan took her tongue in his mouth devouring her mouth.

Ryan kept kissing her until the almost lost their breath. Emily looked down in shame and ran out.

Ryan felt guilty for embarrassing her, he came out of his room and met her at the living room with her back facing him.

Emily ran out and sat quietly at the living. She gently touched her lips still feeling his lips on hers.

Ryan sat quietly beside her frightening her as he touched her shoulder

"I didn't mean to scare you actually but.." He stuttered softly scared of losing her because of his mistake

"But you did.. what are you doing here" She replied aggressive challenging him with her eyes.

" See, Emily you are my best friend infact my childhood friend and I can't lose you for a common mistake " he muttered slowly feeling so sad for a saying his long awaiting kiss was a mistake. it was not a mistake from his side because he wanted it so badly right from when he realized she was his decade friend but saying it was a mistake will satisfy her. He won't mind even if it hurt so much.

Emily looked awe by his word. she felt so angry with his words as she stood up angrily to screamed at him but controlled herself.

she took a deep breath " A mistake?.. yes the kiss was a mistake and don't let it dare repeat itself again or you forget our friendship.." She replied with a hard voice looking everywhere but him. She took her handbag and left the house angrily.

she muttered to herself 'A mistake?.. He kissed me first and said it was a mistake.. to hell with his kiss.. dare it!!.. why did I fall for that childish trick of his..' She looked at herself and hissed loud feeling even more furious as he screamed angrily '.. I hate you Ryan for doing this to me ... ' She stopped a cab and enter calmly

"Where to ma'am?.. " the cab man asked calmly

" Anywhere... " She replied aggressively strolling through her phone.

The car suddenly stop moving, frightened Emily as she tapped the cab man's shoulder

" Are you stable?.. " she asked looking curiously at him after asking the question

he looked at him stunned by her question .. " I should asked you that actually cus you don't look well to me.."

" I don't understand.. Do I know you or what do you mean by that ?.. " She looked even more confused

" I asked you a simple and straight answer but instead you gave me a dead wish reply.. 'He turned towards her)... "young lady look here, I don't take people to their dead so if you want me to start this car then coperate with me and my question.." He said raising his voice a little too high to get her full attention

"What was the question actually?" She asked as the cab man looked at stunned

" You sure, you don't want me to drop you at the hospital nearby for a proper checkup cus I don't really believe you're normal... " He replied sarcastically

" Why are you insulting me?.. I asked you a question and you saying another thing.. does it collate?.." She replied raising her voice a little

" That was how I felt that time, I asked you a simple question of where you want me to drop you rather you replied anywhere like a person that has a dead wish or something.." He said coldly

"I'm sorry.. I was not paying attention.." She took a deep breath and apologize

" And you don't want to share with anyone?" He asked slowly

" No thanks.. drop me at the park 2 near the cafeteria shop.. how is much ?.." She replied calmly

" pay any amount you want ma'am but you really need to be careful.. don't worry about anything but focus on doing the right thing..." He replied calmly as he start the car with full concentration

Emily recall the incident at Ryan's house and feel more sad especially his words.. they are like a knief that kept stabbing her heart whenever she remembered them.

She closed her eyes, took a deep breath and smile sadly at the cab man before reply a slow " Thank you.."

Ryan looked around the house missing her presence in his house. He really wish she won't leave him especially not this time cuz he really need her more than anything this time.
