Chapter Five

The car suddenly stopped in the middle of the road. As the driver with the Mr Collins got down quickly and opened the boot. They saw a small figure sleeping comfortable. Mr Collins carried the girl inside the car and wake her up as the driver drove away from the road beside the road side. Mr Collins wake her up, she opened her eyes, smiled awkwardly and looked around

"Are you alive? like alive alive?" Mr Collins said, staring at her curiously as he widen his eyes looking between the girl and his son.

"Yes sir.." She replied slowly, pushed her hair behind her nervously. she never imagined she would encounter Ryan's father that looks so huge and scary.

"Dad, She's my friend. she's passing through so much so I decided to help her with the little I can afford for now. isn't that good?" he asked softly

"you're right son. I will drop you here so you can find your way back home. I will give something and please I want you to take care of yourself. You can always talk to your friend about anything and whenever you need help, I can be of help okay?" He said, touched her cheeks gently and smiled at her. Emily smiled back with tears in her eyes imagining having such a nice man as get father. Mr Collins wiped her tears quietly and hugged her to comfort her.

"You will through with it and grow to become stronger than you imagine. Always stay positive in every situation you find yourself okay my child? You're too special for anyone to abandon you and I'm sure you will find your place of rest someday" He said softly. He brought out his briefcase and opened the little space in the bag and brought out a envelope filled with money, stretched out her hands and handed it over to her gently.

Emily saw the envelope and open as fresh tears flow from her eyes. "Thank you so much sir" she said, covered her eyes in shame but the man removed her hands from her face and smiled at her.

"You're loved my child." He said and look at Ryan "do you have anything yet u want to give your friend?" he asked gently

"Yes sir, I have a little money with me" He said smiling

" Don't worry, she will need that later... keep it for her right? Give her only when she need it" He commented and looked at Emily "And use this money wisely My child.. what's your name child" he asked curiously

" Emily sir" She said smiling with a little tears

"Take care of yourself Emily and be a good girl" He said as Emily nod gently in response. She opened the car, got down quietly and waved at the them as the car drove off leaving her alone. She looked at the car and gently wipe her tears. She kept the money and ran to her new parent's location.

She ran so fast and almost stumble on her way but she composed herself. She saw the couple eating their foods smiling at each other lovely. The couple behaves strangely, The male behave like a female and the female behaves sometimes like a male, it was as if they exchange gender but in a more playful way. She moved more closer to them smiling.

"Bobby!!.. Hubby!!!.." She called the husband and wife

"OMG!!! Emily? Hubby see her" The wife replied in a masculine voice, ran forward to hug her

"Bobby have been so worried about you Emily.. Where did you go my child? " The male asked softly in a more feminine voice

"I'm sorry bobby... Sorry hubby.. I went back to my previous place where I always puke my fruits to get some for us before we start our journey but I was caught and kept into a dark room... and they the man gave me this envelope, I was not able to count the money before rushing down here" She said and handed the money to bobby. She opened it and brought the money. Hubby collected it and counted it

"Are you sure, this man really gave you this huge amount of money and for what? Hubby asked curiously and stared at her for answer

"To take care of myself hubby but how much is the money? Emily replied

" My dear, the money is $50 dollars" He kept the money inside the envelope and give bobby

"Really? that's good my dear. Keep it for yourself, use it whenever you need it" Bobby said, handed over the envelope to her

"No keep it for me please, I can't keep them" She said and returned the money to bobby

She collected and serve her food smiling at her. she gently sat down and ate.

Mrs Collins suddenly remembered she kept someone inside the dark room after the sunset. She went out with the key in her hands, opened the door but found it empty. She flasher the light in the room, looked around every corner in the room but found no one. She screamed out the gateman name.

"Mr man! Mr man!!!.. are you are stupid or deaf? " She said raising her voice as the gateman ran towards her

"I am sorry ma" He said hurriedly

"Where is that little girl in the room?" She asked curiously, her hands on her waist

"She is there ma. I saw her yesterday night before sleeping " He replied

"You slept yesterday night or what did I just heard? I gave you a simple job to do but you failed. now the girl is gone, see how foolish you are.. you opened the door for the girl to escape right?" she commented

"No ma. I have nothing to do with that?" He said hurriedly shaking heavily

" I see you won't tell me the truth. I will personally lock you here for her" She said, instructed the guards to carry him inside the room. He screamed out loud but none listened to him. She locked the room after he's been throw inside, hissed and went inside.
