New guy in school

I woke up, went to take a shower and went through my closet for something to wear. I finally decided on a white sleeveless crop top with a pair of heel boots with my black jeans. I curled my hair and applied lip gloss. I picked up my white bag and went downstairs.

I

saw my dad had left a plate of pancakes with a note saying he had to go to work early and that he would see me later. I had finished my pancakes when Jenny

arrived to pick me up so I hopped in her car and we left for school.

Me- hi.

Jenny- hey. So, the new guy is coming

today.

Me- I think I might have an idea who the

new guy is.

Jenny- what?! Who is it? Come on tell

me.

Me- ok. Geez. Calm down woman. It's

the jerk from dinner last night and I think

he is friends with Carlos.

Carlos is the most popular kid in school.

He is hot and a player and he is the

quarterback for our school's football

team. He is actually smart and he is only

friendly when he feels like it.

Jenny- what?! That means he is really

hot.

Me- oh, he is hot. That, I have to admit.

Jenny- I can't wait to meet him.

Me- I promised my dad I would show

him around so you can come with me

then we can go to class.

Jenny- yes! I love you Flora.

Me- yeah you do. Now let's go wait for

him in front of the building.

He arrived five minutes later in a blue

convertible and when he stepped out every girl was swooning. Even my best friend.

Me- seriously?

Jenny- girl he may be a jerk but he is hot.

Me- ugh.

He walked up to me, smirking.

Me- let's get this over with.
