The Vicious Crows Attacks

The hard slap that Herro sent to Kira was able to wake her up. Rationality slowly appears in her eyes. She gradually calmed down, but her breathing was still ragged, and she started to tremble in fear.

Herro wanted to ask her the exact reason why she is acting like this, but now is not the right time. The flock of crows was around five hundred meters away from them.

Kira started to calm down, and the intensity of her shaking had lessened, unlike how she trembled a couple of seconds ago. After seeing that Kira is calmer than before, Herro knew that it was the right time to tell her his plan.

"Kira! Listen to me. I will transfer you some of my vitality. I think I can handle these crows that were scaring you a lot. While I have their attention, you need to escape towards the military base."

Kira nodded in response after hearing Herro's plan. She knew that if she stays behind, she will be a burden towards Herro.

Seeing Kira's positive response, Herro sighed in relief. Then he asked the system to help him inject vitality towards Kria. The vitality he had started to flow out from his body towards Kira.

It didn't take a long time to transfer his vitality with the help of the system. After he finished injecting his vitality into Kira, Herro felt really exhausted.

The crows' attention was divided between Kira and Herro, and the crows started to split up. When Herro saw this, he panicked and was unable to move for a second because of disbelief.

After absorbing the Mutants, the stats they got from them massively upgraded Herro and Kira's bodies. Every cell they have in their body was upgraded and made it stronger than ever, giving them their current strength.

Kira managed to escape the pursuit of these crows because of Herro's sacrifice.

Herro planned to kill the crows he attracted with his blood, absorb them, and use them to heal his wounds and replenish his vitality.

The crows that were about to attack him have a wingspan of about two to three meters. Their talons are as sharp as a knife. It was easy for them to cut Herro's flesh.

Although Herro was trembling in fear because of the intense pain he was about to suffer, his will didn't waver and continued to feign death while waiting for them to enter his range of attack.

The crows reached him in just a matter of seconds. The crow who reached his body first immediately dug its knife-like talons towards Herro's back.

Herro hurriedly stood up after the first crow latched into his back. Then the second, third, and so on crows latched on his body one by one before he could lunch his attack.
