Jeff remained silent, the awkward tension between them growing with each passing second. Emma, unable to bear the atmosphere, grabbed his hand and started pulling him.
She led him into a small clearing among the trees, where a large rock sat like a natural seat. Jeff stood near it, his heart pounding as he watched Emma.
"Lower your pants," she instructed firmly.
Emma, being the older one, figured it was her responsibility to take the lead. "He's just a young man; maybe he's too embarrassed to say anything," she thought, trying to rationalize the situation.
Jeff, on the other hand, was panicking internally. "What is happening right now?!" he shouted in his mind, his face burning.
"Umm, I think this is wrong. Can we just, uhh... maybe do this later?" he stammered, his voice shaky and unsure.
Seeing Jeff act so timidly, Emma felt a strange sense of amusement. This was the first time she had seen this side of him.
